Thank you for our Teacher gift of one 24 oz. Smoothie! Clean and bright. Friendly staff and fresh tasting smoothie. I got the Mango Monsoon and it was delicious. It's also pretty filling. I might replace a meal with a smoothie, especially if I get one with veggies!!! Yum! read more

Horrible service. Can't fulfill an online order in 40 minutes when it should've been done in 17(if that), the smoothies are not good at all, and the sandwich was not made as requested. When they were told of the issue with the sandwich, they dismissed it as an error on the machine and walked away without trying to remedy the issue. Employees just stand around not helping customers. This place has no qualities of customer service or even human decency. Avoid at all costs. 0 stars. read more

6-23-26. 15 minutes past pickup time. Very unprofessional staff. I asked, "we're 10 minutes pass a pickup time. Can I get that order?" I'm a delivery driver and had another order I was unfortunately late to because of their behavior affecting my standings with my platform. The girls working were saying unprofessional things including, "cash me outside." read more

When I pulled up to the window, the first thing the girl said was "what can I get you? " ew. Not even a hello. I gave my order which was a smoothie and a flatbread , before I could even tell her what chips I would like She said "pull to the front and I'll give you your total." Ok. Zero Personality. I pull around to Two young girls working in the window. absolutely no manners. so sad to see how miserable are youth is. I asked "do I get chips with my flatbread " and she goes "yeah you do... " "OK what are my options " .. she looked like she would rather be anywhere but at her job that's paying her hourly. Then when i left I said," thank you!" and the blonde one just turned around and shut the window... extremely unprofessional . You should honestly just pay Ai to do their jobs. like what are they good for if not basic human decency read more

I came here recently since it's been a while. I used the drive thru and the guy working was completely rude. I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, we're all human and have a bad day every once in a while. I pulled up to the window for the guy to not greet me, take my payment or even give me a heads up that it would take a while to complete my order. I seen him throw a fit through the window, throwing rags around, slamming things on the counter. I waited 12 mins, I decided to leave. I don't want to give my money to a business that acts like that. Either they need to train their staff basic customer service or get a completely new staff. Last time I go here. read more

I visited this location for the first time and used the drive-thru. The staff came across as rude and didn't seem very welcoming or attentive. They also forgot to include utensils and napkins with my order. Overall, it was not a good experience. read more

Just moved to the area not that long ago and the times I've been to this location the workers have been rude and very unwelcoming! The whole vibe and mood doesn't even make me want to come here. Whether it's the drive thru or in store. This is the closet place that sells açaí bowls the past 2 times I've gotten them it's tasted like onions and the other time I've had rotten fruit. read more

My family and I went to this location for the first time last week. we looked at our menu and we noticed that they offer a breakfast items for the full day. We ordered wraps and a smoothie bowl . The wraps were very good, but we noticed that the smoothie bowl was very small Porsche for a price of $13 and it was frozen at the bottom which we did not enjoy someone instead of keeping a bowl. We decided to let the associate know that we did not bowl and asked for a refund for. We definitely have a disclaimer, letting customers know that it is frozen and it takes a while to enjoy right away. Other places are ready to go so people could enjoy their bowls right away for breakfast or whatever option they choose. You can download the app and receive points for purchases . read more

Today 2/22 around noon we went to the drive thru and waited for 5 minutes nobody took our order. We were patient thinking they were busy, but then we can hear two girls come on the speaker gossiping like they didn't realize the mic was on. I then decided to drive around to the window maybe they will take our order face to face. The employee stood by the window saw us and continued to ignore us. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt we waited awhile at the window. My husband and I then looked inside and saw that they had 1 customer. -The drive thru menu is falling apart the glass was falling apart. read more

First off customer service is so shitty they have no energy to be there or nice and is rude Second they can't even get my order right and say they can't do something they can do which is make my quesadilla well done who can't do that? And they got my açaí bowl wrong still added granola to my bowl when I asked for no granola which I'm actually allergic to Third don't go there unless you want to wait 20 min for literally anything on the menu . read more

Ordered an acai bowl and a mixed berry greek yogurt and waited 10 minutes just for the açaí to not be frozen at all and the greek yogurt tasted expired. it tasted like spoiled sour cream. the customer service here is horrible i always come here because it's the closest location but every single time they disappoint. the girls that work here have a horrible attitude every single one of them. they take FOREVER to take ur order my mom went in one time to absolutely no one at the register slammed a couple things to get someone's attention and still no one came out in the span of 20 minutes! they've been out of acai base at 10am, how do you barely open the restaurant and your already out? they've been out of CUPS i have had to receive my drinks in children's cups before and the service can't even top all of these things off i've had to tell the lil kids that work there what i ordered for them to remember. I went to the tropical smoothie in surprise. Myself and another car in front of me were in the drive th line at 8:45. A person named Leo got on the speaker and refused to serve myself and the other car. Stating blender and ovens were being cleaned and refused to provide service. If you close at 8:45 then you need to change your hours online. read more

This location has the worst workers out of everywhere I've been to. It should not take over 15 mins to make a simple smoothie and a bowl. On top of that, we got a completely different bowl. Everytime I come to this location, it takes forever to get my order. read more

These smoothies are very good. I'd venture to say they are better than Jamba Juice, but I'll have to do more research. They really are good tho, and they will customize for you. The staff is friendly and they are very fast! 10/10 would recommend. read more

The Hummus Veggie wrap had no hummus. I ordered it without cheese because I can't eat dairy and it had cheese in it. The rice and beans in it were not fresh, they tasted old and reheated. This place is not good, that was the worst wrap ever, I couldn't even finish it I threw it away. I also ordered a salad for my husband and it looks horrible, the lettuce is not really fresh or green, looks kind of brown. Save your money and go somewhere else...this was a nightmare experience. read more

This place can be such a great place to eat. But every time we come here, they are out of some item that is supposed to be on the item ordered. The past 3 times coming here ordering the chipotle chicken club, they have been out of bacon. If it's an essential ingredient in the item, it should be available at all times. At least offer a small discount for not having all the ingredients at least customers may feel a bit better about purchasing from your place. By not having the proper ingredients available is how an establishment fails. I will not be coming back. So sad. read more

Great service. The chicken pesto flatbread was very good, and the Pomegranate Smoothie was excellent. Definitely will be back.

This place is awful . They lock the door during supposed to be open hours . I have walked there twice over two miles and they have it closed at 9 am and 10 am . Awful set up read more

FORGOT TO POST THIS! This was probably almost a year ago. I used to love this place. I JUST left a bit ago with a friend of mine. Mind you, this is his first time. We park after because I wanted to eat. He tasted his smoothie and it tasted off so he had me taste it and it did taste really bitter. So he went inside and the girl working there gave some major attitude to him. Not only that but the chick wasn't wearing a bra. I'm sorry but that's unprofessional. Extremely disappointed. I no longer get smoothies from here. read more

Love tropical smoothie been coming for years. But the prices have went up significantly, meanwhile the cups for the smoothies are noticeably smaller than they used to be. Make that make sense? $10 for a smoothie is kinda crazy, that's worse than Starbucks prices which says a lot. Other than that though, great service. :) read more

I have been going here for 10 years now. I'm a big fan of having this place locally in Surprise. I must say, however I cannot give you more than one star and there is no rating for less then. One star it is. I know that things are becoming more expensive but I am sick and tired of these companies like yours price gouging. I just went and got a smoothie which by the way I used to pay five dollars, I just paid $9.65 for a smoothie. A smoothie, not a meal not a cheeseburger for one drink. That's it you just lost my business and I would never recommend you to anybody. I hope the business does poorly and drives people away with the high prices to simply teach a lesson here. By the way, over the last couple years, the service has just been OK and nothing more. You should train your employees how to be more polite, lots of other people do it. Quiktrip seems to do it. Dutch Brose seems to do it. It can be done. If I'm going to pay $9.65 for a smoothie it would be great to have amazing service Because high prices should go hand with quality products and amazing service. read more

Just another franchise with rude employees. Went through the drive thru, a girl was taking my order. The entire exchange went like this, "can I help you" Me, "one second please" *no response, didn't even ask if I needed help or suggestions* I ordered 2 drinks "Total at the window" I made a comment how rude she was before driving forward and then she never came to the window, the guy who he was making the smoothies is the one who helped me pay and handed our smoothies over. Gave 2 stars but our smoothies are good. I get having a bad day, but this isn't the first time the girls here have been rude! It's basically every visit. Even being so nice to them, for what? For an attitude back. read more

This is the worst location in the valley. Every time I go here my order specifications are ignored and the food is prepared sloppily. You're a nuisance to the employees the moment you walk in the door. It's frustrating when you pay extra to have certain things added into your smoothie and the requests are not met. I recently ordered a quesadilla with no onion which was ignored. Seems like they dropped the quesadilla into the bag, picked it up and put it back in the box and didn't bother to put it in a new bag. There was food and salsa all over the inside of the bag and the outside of the box and covering the napkins. read more

i waited from 2:35-3:05 for one smoothie, there was 2 other cars in the drive thru. i was even more disappointed when the employee (Shay) greeted me by saying, "$9" and sticking her hand out the window. she didn't bother to read my order back. i said "for what?" and then she read my order back while rolling her eyes.... so i said "ya just wanted to make sure it was my order." I waited at the window forever, i could see Shay and another girl named Ayona just laughing and talking behind the window. the point of a drive thru is speed and convenience.. i definitely won't be back especially with such rude and untrained employees. Ayona was kinder to me, and answered with their names when i asked. read more

Incredible flavors, ridiculously priced and rudest employees imaginable! Not worth the time or money!

I got a smoothie combo which included a turkey bacon sandwich, an avocolada smoothie, and a banana. I believe there's only one size for the smoothies and the amount you get is great for the price. My whole meal cost $13.54 (after tax). The smoothie was quite delicious. However, the sandwich and banana were average. Overall, a great value for $4 large smoothies. read more

I'm not exaggerating when I say the Island Green smoothie has saved my life on multiple occasions. Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Not even 10:00pm yet. - Sandwiches Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

Another new business in Surprise!! Tropical Cafe offers smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, and salads. Great selection if you want options besides burgers, and pizza. Reminds me of Subway, except has a tropical influence. I had the Korean BBQ tacos, I really enjoyed this. The tacos are in a soft flour tortilla, filled with vegetables, lettuce, and your choice of steak or chicken. Wife had the chipotle chicken wrap, this comes with vegetables, lettuce, rice, and chicken. Had a couple of bites on this and it was very good. Smoothies are really good also, I had the strawberry and banana smoothie, while the wife had the pineapple, orange and banana. TIP!! Hers was a lot better!! Glad they opened this place up, it's in the same square as uptown alley, and Digiplex theater. Always nice to have something new to choose from, and I will diffidently come by more often. read more

After visiting for the 1st time, it will be my only time. I ordered 2 smoothies with added vitamins and the cost was over $20. I ordered ahead so I understood the cost and wasn't really an issue until I seen how small the size was. Not much value for your buck. I digress, as I walked into an empty establishment there was a pick up area and my order was not yet ready. (No big deal) I waited at the counter and watched 3 young ladies in the back avoid eye contact. I was just working on a car and didn't look so clean mid afternoon but to avoid greeting someone at the counter in an empty spot? I waited for a couple of minutes and then was asked for my name and handed 2 cups. Good thing I wasn't there to order at the moment. Both drinks were the same color and different flavors. I asked which is which? The girl gave me a look of bafflement and didn't respond. I later realized there were labels on the cups. Drinks turned out well, but not an experience I want to have again. read more

I actually like this place. There are a decent amount of smoothie selections and the meals are pretty good. I usually come during the morning and get their southwest chicken wraps and a smoothie. This location is most likely out of egg for the wraps but expect you to pay regular price. The menu should be bigger because the smoothies they chose on the menu are least popular. The girl taking orders should work on her greeting skills. Instead of only saying "Can I help you" read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - No egg and poorly made. I bought it 10/14/2021.. FYI - Sandwiches Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

It's over priced. Also, the girl handing your food over the drive thru window was wearing a mask around her neck, NOT her nose and mouth. She clearly isn't concerned about getting others sick or even herself. When I pulled up to the window, she asked, "what did you get again?" So I had to share with her my order with her. The smoothies were good, but once again, over priced. Food was underwhelming. read more
