The Litchfield Park and Bell Rd Salad and Go has been my "Go To" place for salads since I moved to the area almost 2 years ago. They were always friendly and got my order right whenever I went to pick up. I just heard the news that tomorrow (August 5,2026) is the last day of business. I was staying in Surprise for a night and grabbed some Salad and Go for dinner while there. I am a long-time fan and love their salads and breakfast burritos. Even though the quality hasn't been the same since the original owners sold the company, I still enjoyed swinging by for a quick healthy meal. When you go and order 2 for $5.00 (6 quesadillas total) and a breakfast burrito.... You don't expect to pay $2.99 each and get empty tortilla shells. I actually stopped the car after exiting the drive-through. I thought there was no way all of my food is in here. I then proceeded to pull out all of the empty tortillas. I was going to go back through the line but there were now eight people in line. I had already been there for 20 minutes waiting for the food. Instead I went home and made eggs for my guests. I ordered the build-your-own breakfast bowl, and Santiago made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Super friendly and kind, he made ordering a breeze. At the window, payment was quick, and the timing was perfect--the window closed for maybe two seconds before popping right back open with our food! Whenever I visit I always go to salad and go. My go to is the Cobb with chicken. Super quick drive thru and friendly service. I ordered the Cobb - freshly prepared altho the tomatoes has a weird off taste to them and the avocado was very hard. I removed the tomatoes and still enjoyed the salad. I think it's a great value for the freshness and price. I wish we had these in CA. Easy to use drive thru. Clean from my outside observation. Also like the lemonade. I have not been here in quite a while. Eating differently to kick off the year so came to get a Cobb salad. I'm trying some new with tofu. My go-to is chicken so let's see. I removed a whole lot of good stuff (eggs, blue cheese crumbles and bacon). You know I'm sticking to the plan without the bacon lol. The drive thru was not busy and they moved fast. The cashier was polite. I made a good choice so far. Well, I missed the chicken but the tofu wasn't bad. There was so much greens you can't see the other ingredients. Was visiting family in the area and wanted a salad for lunch one day. I was so excited to see this option and the prices were so low! My husband was also equally as excited and we both agreed we wanted to go back right away! I opted for the Autumn salad, which could be seasonal because it was right before Thanksgiving. My mother in law went to Salad and Go over the summer so we can all try their salad's & strawberry lemonade. The restaurant is small & all drive through service only. The line can be long @ times but move very fast. Our ordered consists of: 4 chicken Caesar salad's & 4 strawberry lemonades. The salads are huge for great & package very well. Our only complaint is the chicken was very soft & reminded us of tuna & wish the chicken was better. The drinks were very delicious for under $2 for large. Salad and go also sells other food items as well such as breakfast & regular wraps, soups & a variety of drinks. We will definitely like to visit again to try their other selections. read more

It's so nice to have a healthy fast-food option. We have picked up from here a few times and quite enjoy all the salads.
