It's a fast food experience, but Troy was at the register. He was polite, professional and very helpful during the ordering process and when the food was brought out. Was dining in and watched his work ethic. For a young guy, he was proactive with needs within the restaurant and with customers. Haven't been to this location in a few years. I love the upgrades. Staff is still friendly. Still one of the only restaurants it feels like I'm greeted right when I walk in, which is refreshing. Store is still clean and well kept. Service is still quick and food is still fresh and delicious. Probably the best location in AZ- just wish it was closer to me lol! 2.5 - Service was friendly, restaurant was clean, and they had a large parking lot. That's all I can say was good about this place. The corn dog was small for the price and overcooked/overfried. It was greasy and burnt. Flavor was just like the ones you can get in the frozen section of your local supermarket. The chili cheese fries were WAY over salted with a tiny little spoonful of chili on top. The Chicago dog was fine, 3/5. I picked up hot dogs at Wienerschnitzel a few months ago when a place I was going to get them from was closed. I ordered on line and went to pick it up. Being from Chicago, Chicago style hot dogs are like a taste of home for my family, and that's what we were ordering. I had, until now, not tried Wienerschnitzel's Chicago-style dogs. I was very pleasantly surprised that they were the real deal. I went through their drive through at the location off of Northern and the 101 in the Glendale/Peoria area. It's a busy strip mall area across from an even busier Desert Diamond Casino. Expect traffic, especially at lunchtime. The dogs were hot and well packed. If you've ever had a Chicago Dog, you know they can get a little messy with all the stuff on them. Nothing escaped the wrappers. Fries were good and hot, not overly salted, and the one plain cheeseburger hamburger in the bunch was not dry and cooked well. All in all I'll get Chicago dogs from there again soon! read more

While chauffeuring my dad around today he told me he needed a krout dog from here lol ok dad, need is a strong word, but I'll take you. Location is in a busy parking lot shared with quite a few fast food stops, restaurants, Target and much more. It's in a older shopping center, but still holding up ok. We decided on the drive thru. We were helped right away. I ordered two kraut dogs, a coke and Chicago dog. Once at the window it went a bit downhill. It was a different person helping us at the window than took our order. Hen it was read back to us on the speaker it was correct, but the guy at the window kept adding things we didn't order and I had to repeat myself about five times before he had our correct order. What happened between the speaker and the window I don't know. We had our food pretty quick. My Chicago dog was a bit cold, but ok. My dad was happy as a clam. It was an ok stop for me, but not one of drive to eat if I had other choices. read more

Oh wow, this is pretty good! I got my food thru the drive-thru (Spoiler Alert: I've never tried this restaurant before) and was pleasantly surprised with the results! Okay so first of all these guys mostly trade in hot dogs. Probably doesn't sound too fancy, but they do dress them up pretty well. There's all kinds of options like Chicago style dogs, chili cheese dogs, etc etc. I think the ones I got were the Chicago one and green chile dog. They were both quite tasty. Their fries were so good and I made the mistake of only getting one order and having to share them with my siblings. They each tried one and then they kept picking at them. I wish they would just order their own fries. UGH. Anyway yeah the fries are good and make sure everyone gets their own order cause when they're hot the great for dipping. Like I could smell them thru the paper bag the entire ride home and I just wanted to rip it open and eat them over the dashboard like some kind of wild untamed animal. The dogs are surprisingly well covered in toppings. I am very curious to try their chili cheese dog next time. My brothers got the corn dogs and they seemed to be fans of those. The food was good and the line at the drive thru moved fast. What else could you ask for? Oh and I almost forgot to mention they have hamburgers on the menu too. read more

Fries were crispy and fresh tasting. The chili dogs were decent, unremarkable but palatable. The kids really liked the corn dog which was perfectly fried and tasted pretty good. Unfriendly to truckers. I had a craving for Wienerschnitzel, so I went out of my way to get what WAS my favorite hot dog. When I got there, the doors were locked with a not stating the drive through was open. I knocked on the door, a young man came to the door & W/O opening the door told me to got thru the drive through. I pointed out my truck to him and he shrugged his shoulders. I turned around and walked away. I will not be back to that Wienerschnitzel. Not sure if they are all the same way, or if there is a chance that another Wienerschnitzel might be open to truckers. read more

I can't stand when companies incentivize you to do their customer surveys then flat out refuse to honor it. Why is it so hard nowadays to find companies/employees that just do the right thing? I'm not the biggest fan of Wienerschnitzel, but it is very convenient when your craving some sweets on a late night snack run. They're open until midnight every day and carry a wide variety of ice creams and treats. From sundays to root beer floats! This location is nice; the service is fast paced! In CA we went to Wienerschnitzel every Sunday for the $1 corn dogs, though those days have changed the franchise has not. The ultimate stoner food, mini corn dogs and chili cheese fries with onions and tomatoes are a must. The Tasty Freeze ice cream treats is a great companion. read more

Both def ned a sauce as they are too plain on their own. The hot Cheetos one was good and didn't really need any sauce with it. Overall, the food was a good sized. I might come back to try the dessert options but it wasn't worth the trip down here.

I hate to write a negative review but I ate here for the first time 2 years ago and loved it. But…read moretonight? Not so much. My sister and I got 3 corn dogs to share all of which were huge and had way too much breading compared to what they use to be. Two of the corn dogs were completely inedible because of the raw dough. And the mozzarella dog was 80% batter. So that was really hard to eat. The employees were super sweet but not being able to eat everything we got was annoying
