Still going strong a year later. One of the best places to stop for a sweet treat especially on a hot day. Service is great and vibe chill as always.

So happy Açaí Republic opened a location here in the west valley! The food, pastries, origin story are all so great but above all, the owner is one of the nicest most genuine person I have ever encountered. Every time my husband and I go in we hope to see him. Happy to see this business flourish!

This place is amazing, today was our first time here for my daughter birthday. We ordered the orange juice, beef empanadas and the Tahiti Acai bowl. The juice was the best I have had!! My daughter rated the Tahiti bowl a 10 out of 10!! We met Juan who worked at the location and he was very professional, showed us the menu and how we could order different/extra ingredients. We introduced ourselves to him and he made the store with his friendly personality. We definitely will be back. If you are in the area of surprise, I suggest you stop by!!

    The location.

I absolutely love this place. The açai bowls look exactly like the pictures and everything is so fresh and delicious. The owner of this place is also so kind and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. I always have a great experience there and would no longer go anywhere else to get an açai bowl.

Man working there on a Sunday morning was great. He greeted us soon as we walked in and had us in and out. The açaí bowls here are the best.

Was nice and clean. Prices bet speedier than other places and bowl was smaller. My two bowls ordered were not correct.

Absolutely unacceptable…read more This location served my family raw chicken. Not "slightly undercooked"--raw. The chicken was cut, boxed, and sent out as if no one preparing or packaging the food bothered to notice. My pregnant wife and 2 1/2-year-old daughter nearly ate it. When I called, the employee was rude, dismissive, and showed zero concern that they had just served unsafe food. No apology. No accountability. No urgency. This isn't bad customer service--it's a food safety failure. If this is the level of care given before food leaves the kitchen, I have serious concerns about what happens behind the scenes. Avoid this location. One mistake is understandable. Serving raw chicken and then acting like it doesn't matter is not.

I came to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for dinner tonight at approximately 8:48 PM. Their posted hours state…read morethey close at 9:30 PM, so I expected there would still be plenty of time to order and dine in. When we arrived, the dining room had already been cleaned and was essentially closed. We were told they would be closing in about 10 minutes because one of the employees was going home. At that point, I suppose we were lucky to have made it through the door, because shortly afterward an employee began locking the entrance as the remaining customers left. I understand that unexpected staffing issues happen, and I don't fault the employee for explaining the situation. What I do find frustrating is that the restaurant was operating as though it had already closed, despite the posted closing time still being over 30 minutes away. If your posted hours say you're open until 9:30 PM, customers should reasonably expect to be able to order and dine in until then. If circumstances require an earlier closing, the posted hours should be updated or at the very least have a sign posted on the door. It was a disappointing experience and not the level of customer service I expected.

Shame on me to not share this gem that should be celebrated by all. First, the mac salad at Leo's is hands down my favorite! For the entree, anything curry, shrimp or chicken. I am drooling as I write this! The curry hits you in all the right spots as you take your first bite. The vegetables with the curry are firm enough to not turn into mush and tender enough to eat without teeth :-).... I do not think I've had a plate at Leo's that I have not enjoyed. The dinning area is always clean, even when the line is out the door. The drink station and condiment area is equally as clean and orderly regardless of the amount of people inside. As for the crowds, I've seen UFC fighters, baseball players and ordinary folks like you and I getting their fix at Leo's! I love seeing the same employees for the years that I've been going. Even though I am one face of many that they see. They are very welcoming to every customer who walks in. I can't tell you enough. You must try this place if you have not yet. I just hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I liked their chicken and short rib plate, there was chicken katsu, bbq chicken, and beef short rib for $17, which is very good price. The chicken katsu was crispy and not dry on the inside. The short ribs was grilled perfectly and not burnt. However, I'm not a big fan of their garlic shrimp, it wasn't garlicky enough for me, and kind of lack of what garlic shrimp should have-flavor. The amount of shrimp was generous though. Overall, good price and will try other plate next time.

I am also a strong supporter and admirer of Hawaiian culture, so I was looking forward to experiencing the food and learning more about it. Unfortunately, my first experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, did not reflect the welcoming spirit I associate with Hawaiian culture, food, or hospitality. When I entered the restaurant, I greeted the manager, Lily, and explained that it was my first time trying poke. I asked if she could recommend something based on her personal preference. She began walking me through the different bowl options, including the bases. However, as I took my time deciding between the available choices, her tone became increasingly impatient and dismissive. The same thing happened when I was choosing sauces and, eventually, my protein. At that point, I felt as though I was being rushed through my order rather than being given the opportunity to have a positive first-time experience. I understand that employees may have other customers waiting, but I believe there is a professional way to handle a busy situation while still making a customer feel welcomed. What was especially disappointing was that this interaction came from the manager. As someone trying poke for the first time, I expected the manager to be patient, helpful, and enthusiastic about introducing a new customer to the food. After completing my order, I pulled Lily aside and respectfully explained that I did not appreciate feeling rushed. She responded that I was being rushed because there were other customers behind me. However, I did not receive an apology or any attempt to address my concerns or improve the situation. I understand that restaurants can become busy, however, every customer deserves basic patience, respect, and hospitality--especially when they are trying something for the first time. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. The way customers are treated, particularly by management, directly affects how they view the entire establishment. I would encourage the company to ensure that employees and managers are trained to maintain a welcoming and respectful attitude, even during busy periods. I came in excited to support a local business and experience poke for the first time. Unfortunately, I left feeling rushed and unwelcome. I hope my experience can be used as feedback to prevent other first-time customers from having the same experience.

The inside is cute and clean, and it wasn't too busy or packed. There was also parking right in front. I ended up ordering the beef patty loco moco and my aunt got the teriyaki something. I did not like my loco moco at all... everything was cooked well! I just don't have the tastebuds for a loco moco. The owner listened to me tell him why I didn't like it, saw how disappointed I was, and surprised me with a container of teriyaki chicken and white rice. I'm more of a sweeter teriyaki person (there's is more savory) but the meat was cooked SOOO well and as you can see, I really enjoyed it. My aunt liked her food as well. All in all I'd be back. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking spots available. We had entered the restaurant and were the only patrons inside. The restaurant was freezing!! It took around 20 minutes for the entire meal to be cooked. The Loco Moco was decent. The hamburger patty was burnt and small though. The scrambled eggs and gravy was delicious.
