This location is horrible! On Easter evening, the employees that were working were allowing orders to be stolen that other customers paid for. Went in to get a paid for order and the food was not there. It was stolen and when asked if they could remake it was given an attitude and told no they can't remake it. If this is an ongoing issue, then they should keep customers food behind the counters if not management needs to find out what these employees are doing with the food. read more

Clean, well lit, healthy menu items, fast, but not fast food. No different than other Ono Hawaiian BBQ sites in the chain, but nothing wrong with that. Great for when you're in a hurry, but want to eat relatively healthy. Looks like it just opened, so everything about is is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I was shopping in the area, and saw Ono was open and it sounded so good. I drove over and quickly noticed I had come at a very bad time. 7 pm to be exact. It was so busy and people were waiting for their orders for a very long time. The poor cashier couldn't get to them, and call them out, because he was all alone. I ordered the crispy shrimp mini meal. My 1 star is for my food. My shrimp smelled like old oil and also like they were sitting around waiting for someone to order them so they could be put in the to go box. My order was ready and presented to me very soon after I saw it be put up by the cooks. I was starving so I ate it. I have never had a bad meal at any Ono, until today. I don't know what the deal was, but I hope the food gets better, and is starts to be cooked fresh, and the fryer oil becomes changed regularly. read more

Customer service is lacking the employees look miserable working there, food is cold and stale, feel rushed, dirty, the don't fill the plate fully, burnt meat, if you hate your job quit? Will not be returning. They need better leadership and employees that want to work and provide good service to customers. This place definitely needs some fixing up with their employees. Our bag of food had teriyaki sauce all in the bottom and there was only one of us who got teriyaki chicken. When we opened the container there was way too much sauce in the chicken and underneath with the cabbage. On top of that the cashier who clearly hated her job was super rude to us and another employee was rude when we had to ask for napkins because there was none. Definitely bad vibes from this place and i'd rather go to the Ono on Northern for a better experience and less sauce. read more

It took over 20 minutes from when I ordered to get our food. I asked for extra sauce, but did not get it. The salad had no dressing, so I asked for extra dressing, which took another 10 minutes. They gave us two napkins in the bag, they were full of sauce and unusable, looked all over for a napkin holder, none to be found. There was a line at the counter, so I couldn't ask for any more. HOW MUCH DO NAPKINDS COST?? Went to use the bathroom, which was very dirty and unkept. The sink was falling off the wall. The toilet seat was loose and fell off. When entering the place is clean and orderly. The lady with a slight acne issue on her cheeks wasn't friendly, it just felt like she wanted to get through the pain of the day. The wait was reasonable for the amount of food ordered. The food seams healthy, but really saucy under the bed of rice and cabbage. My favorite is the spicy chicken. read more

We went through the drive thru lane and ordered four plates. The employee taking the order sighed after every time I said we were getting another plate and letting to rush me off. We were the only car in line. Then the employee proceeded to tell me that my order was too big so I would have to come inside and wait, which is fine I understand. But while I was waiting inside the two female employees that work the drive thru were literally arguing with each other and cursing at each other in front of everyone in the restaurant. First time trying this place and it was sooo delicious!! I ordered the chicken and beef and it was spectacular. Chicken was moist and flavorful as was the beef. Ono's is one of my favorite places to eat so naturally I was excited when this location opened up. The customer service was horrible. Karla (red hair) took our order and had an attitude from the start. Whatever, must of had a bad morning. Then I get my order and the chicken not what I received at other locations. Not sure if it wasn't cooked all the way and the bbq beef was mostly fat. Portions seem off compared to other locations too. Definitely not satisfied with this experience at this location, probably won't return since there is another down the street. Other than that the new location looks amazing, plenty of open seats indoor and outdoor. read more

12/22/2024- packed a lot of people waiting for their food, we asked for a refund after 30 minutes of waiting, this place is suffering from the exact same infrastructure support Chipotle ran into once mobile phone orders were implemented- cell orders take priority and the folks inside just sit and watch getting their orders way late and backed up. They do not have an extra table for prep nor deployment nor the cooking infrastructure to support the infamous cell orders. I am way too familiar with this song so I packed up my junk and got a refund before anymore of my time was wasted. One other simple item, if I was management I think I would order extra Teriyaki sauce knowing a ton of people would make it to the restaurant...... this will avoid completely running out of Teriyaki sauce next time. Very important side note, all employees were busting their butts getting food out- so this is not about the employees not doing their jobs, this is about an ill supported cell phone service that has no deployment support. read more

This is my second bad review about this ONO location. The service is god awful. Placed an order online to try to get ahead and be able to just grab it when we got there. Online said it would be ready at 8:46 we get there at about 8:55 and the people inside tell us to go through the drive through that they no longer were open inside, we agreed and went to get in line and were behind three other cars, I finally got up to the window after waiting 22 minutes, I then waited at the window for 15 extra minutes waiting for someone to even come to the window to greet me, after that didn't happen my significant other went back inside to try to talk to someone and I knocked on the window to try to get attention and a young female who didn't give her name seemed confused to see me or why I was knocking. So you're employees not watch the drive through window ? There's no reason I should have been ignored after three people were just in front of me and got their orders with no issues. My order was already paid for and placed. When the young lady comes to the window and asks what I need saying they only have a few items I respond saying her coworker told me to come through the drive through to grab my PICK UP ORDER. She then asks my name and goes to look for the order when she finally comes back ( mind you I've been in the drive through waiting for my already paid for food for 30+ minutes now) she tells me she doesn't have an order for my name and I show her obviously I placed an order here she then says it's the wrong location which it's literally on the same screen that I'm showing her as my order and show her I'm at the correct location, She then had the audacity to say I'm rude and she'll get the manager. She then comes back to the window for a third time with NO MANAGER to tell me someone took my order, but your orders are behind the counter and you give customers their order when asked so you actually gave my order that I paid for to the wrong person and tried to blame me. Never got to see a manager and waiting almost an hour for food that "someone else took", i didn't pay over 30$ to get no food and attitude from your workers for not doing their job. I will not ever be back here. I suggest corporate take action because this location is TRASH. Your employees lie to people and then blame customers for themselves not knowing how to conduct themselves and do their correct job. Also a manager should always be present for things like this and the fact a manager was NO WHERE IN SIGHT IS A PROBLEM. Would be zero stars if I could. read more

Their food in my opinion is much better than the one on Bell Road in surprise Arizona. My disappointment is even with the one on Bell Road. They have never been a place to hire the most polite employees. It must not train them to think it matters to be polite. This location is far worse. No iContact just repeating phrases like a robot. I will not be back. My husband and I came here for dinner and as we were sitting waiting for our food, an employee (in gloves) was rolling up rugs for closing. She then proceeded, without changing gloves, to restock lids and cups for the sauces and touching our food and forks before handing us our order. I am so disgusted. We just left because I can't sit there and watch this. It is the easiest thing in the world to change your gloves after you touch something dirty. I've eaten at multiple ono Hawaiian places over the last few years and was excited when this one opened up near my house. The first time I ate there it made me pretty sick... I tried to eat there a second time today and it did the same thing. I don't know if they are not cooking the chicken all the way through, or if they are storing food unsafely, but this is the only location that makes me sick every time I eat it. The mac salad and other food is always delicious at this chain...but the manager forgot to ring in one of my combos and still made me pay for it. They also skimp on the meat, unlike the goodyear location. If you can drive the extra 20ish minutes you'll get more bang for your buck. read more

When in the mood for island food, we go here. The kalua pig is good and doesnt taste like it used too much liquid smoke. We typically go through the drive through but inside looks clean and well lit. The service is quick and serving sizes are enough to put you to sleep. The musubi is a great quick snack for the road too. read more

Showed up at 8:47 pm after a long day of work. Dining room is open till 9:30. Walked in ordered at 8:49pm. A young male associate was starting to clean the dining room while we were waiting for our food. All he did was give mean looks the whole time he cleaned the lobby as my wife and I were sitting there eating. Took away all the extra sauce from the dispenser before closing without asking if we need any, which we did. We left before 9:15pm. Our take home container started leaking went back to get some napkins and a new bag to clean it up before taking it in the car to go home. 20 seconds after we walked out he locked the door.
