Gavin came over as I was debating what to order and expressing my appreciation for the restaurant. Jaeden was the manager on duty. I love that everyone in this family run business is so pleasant. It makes a difference. It was a slow afternoon since it was well before dinner. If you have not experienced sneakybird, this is your encouragement. Today I got 2 8-piece wings with tater tots. One with the garlic butter Parmesan rub and both tossed in teriyaki sauce. Of course, my order was all flats. I also order a side of Sneaky Slaw to try. Walking in, there was no line, so getting our food was pretty quick. There was plenty of seating inside, and the worker was helpful with suggestions. I got the chicken sandwich, while my sister got the tenders. Between the two, I'd say the tenders were the better choice. The sandwich was good, just a little too salty for me, but it was huge, so definitely come with an appetite. Overall, the food tasted fresh and made with good ingredients. Fantastic service, decent prices, and incredibly flavorful chicken -- the sauces were terrific. Hubby and I ordered the chicken sandwich and the sliders, both with added slaw--which was sweet with just the right kick of spice. We went with the ranch, sweet Thai, and Gold BBQ sauces, and they were all excellent. The tots were extra crispy, just how we like them. The only downside (and it's not the restaurant's fault) is that the patio seating is very dimly lit. Better lighting would make a big difference. read more

This place wasn't bad, never had it before, I got a chicken wrap by itself and 6 piece tenders with tots, and 3 sauces. It was quite a long wait for the food, and when I grabbed it I brought to my truck and double checked and seen they gave me the wrong order. Went back in to exchange the wrong order for my wrap. I'm thinking they just put those tenders in my wrap. The chicken was "ok" the wrap was decent. This is very much a mom-and-pop, Phoenix-local spot, and they commit to their lane: baked chicken, not fried. And it works. Big flavor, zero grease, no food coma afterward. They offer a great selection of dry rubs and sauces, and you get to pick one of each, which is a fun way to customize your order. We went with one of their featured combos, SMOKY & SASSY: Lemon Pepper rub + "The Q" (Citrus Chipotle BBQ). Sweet, smoky, citrusy, with just the right amount of heat. Balanced and bold without being overpowering. We ordered the chicken tenders, and they were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My only nitpick: I wouldn't have been mad at a little more sauce. My wife and I shared the four-piece, and while it was satisfying, we both agreed we probably could've ordered a bit more. Rookie mistake. Won't happen again. Sides matter, and Sneaky Bird delivers. The tots are a must--crispy, golden, and dangerous in the best way. The side veggies were a nice accoutrement (yes, I meant to use that word), fresh and a great contrast to the chicken. Now let's talk dessert. Get the salted maple cookie. Non-negotiable. Warm, rich, perfectly sweet with that salty finish--it's the kind of cookie you think about later. Absolute must-get. One caveat: there is some spice here. It's not wild, but if you don't like heat at all, keep that in mind. If you do, you'll find this quite nice. Yes... I meant to rhyme. Hubby was over the moon with the sliders. They came with tots. I will agree - so good! Super moist and yummy. Because I am a crazy person and won't eat anything breaded I ordered the "bare" chicken wrap and it definitely wasn't as delish as the hubs. I ordered the sweet potato tots - they do have maple tots but I'm sure you can figure out - if I'm not eating a breaded piece of chicken- I'm not ordered maple tots So the bare chicken - they season it with salt and pepper if you do not get a rub. Too much pepper for me and wasn't as moist as the hubbies breaded chicken. Now the beautiful thing - nothing is fried! They have a bunch of rub options and sauces. My husband had the habanero - it was fruity and had a great flavor. I ordered the buffalo and it was perfect. The guy brought us over - other sauces to try and they were all great! This was my first time coming to sneaky bird. One of my friends recommended it to me so i decided to order maple tots, bread, 4 tenders, 2 lemon pepper , and 2 garlic parm. Both of flavors of the chicken tenders are dry rubs. The chicken wasn't greasy or oily, nor fatty. The lemon pepper tenders didn't have much lemon flavor but the pepper taste wasn't overpowering, honestly would have been good if there was a lemon slice on the side. It tasted well with the bread and a pickle. The garlic parm wasn't my favorite it was a little overpowering but it would have tasted perfect if I put it over some Alfredo noodles at home. The pickles. The pickles were so good I asked for a side of them before I left. Which they BLESSED me with. The pickles weren't to salty or loaded with vinegar they were crunchy and perfect. I honestly would go back just to get a bunch of pickles. The maple tots were ok in my opinion. I personally don't like warm sweets so the warm maple tasted off to me, I did finish them cold when I got home I won't lie. They have this coating of sugar in them that doesn't just fall off. The bread was also ok nothing special, it didn't have any butter it was sweet though so it had some flavor. Jojo and Cj welcomed me in with a smile and politely waited for me to look through the entire menu, while asking questions. Than took my order with a genuine smile and attitude. On my last visit, the woman taking my order was so friendly and this time, the employee seemed to want to just rush me as I ordered. She also just walked away from the register when it came to me paying and didn't come back. Guess I didn't need my receipt after all according to her. Just beyond rude and unfriendly. Also, I received way less tots than the previous visit and they were undercooked. I waited over 15 minutes to receive this very unsatisfying meal. The only positive was the pepperoni flatbread. This was actually good. I don't know if I would get it often as $8+ seems a bit pricey just for a smallish flatbread pizza but the sauce was good and the cheese did that cheese pull. We tried the food based on the recommendation from a friend who lives locally. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. The front of the house staff were patient with us and answered all of our questions. The restaurant is modern and has a fun hip vibe. But the food is the real gem. I loved the tater tots! I could eat a bucket of them. The tenders were large and tasty. The chicken had a great rub. My friends had the sandwiches and sliders and they were super pleased. Arrived at about the 20 minute mark, was told the food wasn't ready so I waited another 10, which isn't a big deal, but when we did get the food and got home (live very close), the food was cold. We did not like pretty much anything we ordered. Chicken was dry and a bit burnt, was not a fan of the sauces, or the breading. They also forgot our drink and extra sauces. The sweet potato tater tots were good though, I'm sure the maple ones are delicious, especially when warm. Oh my gosh, this place is AMAZING!!! They have organic chicken, which is HUGE for me since I have reactions to the hormones and antibiotics in most restaurant chicken.
