Gavin came over as I was debating what to order and expressing my appreciation for the restaurant. Jaeden was the manager on duty. I love that everyone in this family run business is so pleasant. We finally tried sneakybird after about a year of opting for other restaurants in the strip mall where it lives. There are so many dining options in Prasada that it's easy to overlook smaller joints like sneakybird. We started off by sharing the barbecue chicken flatbread. This was our favorite part of the meal. Not to dismiss the tastiness of our entrees--the flatbread was just that good. For our meals, we both got the chicken tender combos. I enjoyed mine with tater tots. I thought the combinations of dry rubs and sauces were really fun. Overall, my favorite sauce was the Fool's Gold, as I am a huge fan of mustard-based barbecue sauces. My son had spoken very highly of this place, so I was looking forward to trying it, but honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the food. That being said, I would definitely give it another try. Walking in, there was no line, so getting our food was pretty quick. There was plenty of seating inside, and the worker was helpful with suggestions. I got the chicken sandwich, while my sister got the tenders. Between the two, I'd say the tenders were the better choice. Rookie mistake. Won't happen again. Sides matter, and Sneaky Bird delivers. The tots are a must--crispy, golden, and dangerous in the best way. The side veggies were a nice accoutrement (yes, I meant to use that word), fresh and a great contrast to the chicken. Now let's talk dessert. Get the salted maple cookie. Non-negotiable. Warm, rich, perfectly sweet with that salty finish--it's the kind of cookie you think about later. Absolute must-get. One caveat: there is some spice here. This place wasn't bad, never had it before, I got a chicken wrap by itself and 6 piece tenders with tots, and 3 sauces. It was quite a long wait for the food, and when I grabbed it I brought to my truck and double checked and seen they gave me the wrong order. Went back in to exchange the wrong order for my wrap. I'm thinking they just put those tenders in my wrap. The chicken was "ok" the wrap was decent. I ordered the sweet potato tots - they do have maple tots but I'm sure you can figure out - if I'm not eating a breaded piece of chicken- I'm not ordered maple tots So the bare chicken - they season it with salt and pepper if you do not get a rub. Too much pepper for me and wasn't as moist as the hubbies breaded chicken. Now the beautiful thing - nothing is fried! They have a bunch of rub options and sauces. Really disappointed on my second visit. The first one was so good that I came back again a week later. On my last visit, the woman taking my order was so friendly and this time, the employee seemed to want to just rush me as I ordered. She also just walked away from the register when it came to me paying and didn't come back. Guess I didn't need my receipt after all according to her. Just beyond rude and unfriendly. I ordered the garlic butter Parmesan as the rub for my chicken sandwich and I received an unflavored chicken. The chicken sandwich on its own isn't that good to have a missing flavor. Also, I received way less tots than the previous visit and they were undercooked. I waited over 15 minutes to receive this very unsatisfying meal. The only positive was the pepperoni flatbread. This was actually good. I don't know if I would get it often as $8+ seems a bit pricey just for a smallish flatbread pizza but the sauce was good and the cheese did that cheese pull. This was my first time coming to sneaky bird. One of my friends recommended it to me so i decided to order maple tots, bread, 4 tenders, 2 lemon pepper , and 2 garlic parm. Both of flavors of the chicken tenders are dry rubs. The chicken wasn't greasy or oily, nor fatty. The lemon pepper tenders didn't have much lemon flavor but the pepper taste wasn't overpowering, honestly would have been good if there was a lemon slice on the side. It tasted well with the bread and a pickle. The garlic parm wasn't my favorite it was a little overpowering but it would have tasted perfect if I put it over some Alfredo noodles at home. The pickles. The pickles were so good I asked for a side of them before I left. Which they BLESSED me with. The pickles weren't to salty or loaded with vinegar they were crunchy and perfect. I honestly would go back just to get a bunch of pickles. The maple tots were ok in my opinion. I personally don't like warm sweets so the warm maple tasted off to me, I did finish them cold when I got home I won't lie. They have this coating of sugar in them that doesn't just fall off. The bread was also ok nothing special, it didn't have any butter it was sweet though so it had some flavor. Jojo and Cj welcomed me in with a smile and politely waited for me to look through the entire menu, while asking questions. Than took my order with a genuine smile and attitude.
