Amongst a strip mall setting you will find this sweet little restaurant with a large menu and friendly service! Lots of daily specials at very reasonable prices, breakfast served all day and a lunch special too! My daily special (Tuesday) was a "mini" chicken taco salad which was served in a fresh tortilla shell and absolutely filled with yum! I can't imagine what the full side taco salad would look like because this one was so big I could barely finish it. No skimping on that special! The other dish we got was a lunch special chicken enchilada which came with rice and beans and was fresh and delish with shredded chicken. Also a generous portion. They also serve a variety of Aguafrescas and N/A margaritas which you can add on to your special at a reduced price - very refreshing! The place was clean and quiet and a really good place for a delicious bite. I can't wait to come back and try the breakfasts.

AMAZING asada fries, chicken fajitas, menudo, and agua frescas. Not to mention that their strawberry waffles are to die for. Excellent service. Great ambiance. Will definitely be back!!

    Excellent Breakfast Burrito

Small, clean and good customer service. The young gentleman that waited on on was very kind and helpful. The Breakfast Burrito does not have jalapenos in it, that's a different burrito. Coffee is so, so but again it's not a specialty coffee location. It is nice and hot, which I love . Breakfast Burrito was excellent, French Toast was good as well. Will definitely come back. The owner has a great sense of humor. Flour and corn tortillas are handmade, excellent

Very friendly people and freshly made, high quality food. We were there for lunch but they also serve breakfast. Both my wife and I were pleased and surprised by the quantity of steak served in the burrito and taco, truly filled with nothing but steak. The meat was tender and had an excellent flavor. We were also surprised by the salsa as it had a slightly sweet taste. All in all it was a good experience and we will go back.

Do they have any gluten free food?🤞

If you need a dedicated gluten free kitchen, I do not believe this qualifies. At the same time, I am guessing there is not a dedicated kitchen, this cuisine offers many solutions to a gluten free diet. All them straight up and tell them your need to…

We ordered the ham steak and eggs w/ O'Brien potatoes and toast (see the picture), a side of pancakes, country fried steak and eggs, and a 2-egg breakfast w/sausage and hashbrowns. The ham steak comes with red eye gravy. I didn't know what that was and hated it. So I scraped it off and used their fresh salsas instead, and it was so dang good. The pancakes were also delicious. They were light and fluffy and had a touch of sweetness. I used the strawberry jam from the toast on the pancake and I think it made it even better. The gravy from the chicken fried steak was also a hit! The food was 95% good, but there were a couple of hiccups. The hash browns were burnt darker than dark. I feel like they should've never made it out of the kitchen. Also, the jalapeño cheddar biscuit was very thick and stodgy. I also got a specialty latte (can't remember which) and that was bitter and not at all something I'd get again. To recap: you can't go wrong with the pancakes or chicken fried steak. Make sure to ask for salsa. Skip the latte. Overall the experience was great and I'd go back next time we're in town.

Both were delish and flavorful and I was grateful for left overs lol. I will say the portion size vs price is totally reasonable but the price on coffee drinks is a little much. The lattes and chia shouldn't cost more than Starbucks in my opinion. The only feedback on food for this time in was for the bacon. We actually love the sausage so much we never tried the bacon. It had a perfect cook on it however it was way too smoky. It was more bbq cookout bacon vs bacon you went to taste at breakfast (if that makes sense).

A friend and I visited this restaurant on 06/22/2026 at 9:00am for breakfast. The dining area was not busy with just 3-4 tables occupied and a few people at the barstools. I was seated quickly by a hostess and given two menus while waiting for my friend to arrive. Menu: it's about the size of a Sears Catalog (exaggeration but about 8+ pages front and back) and appears to serve food approved by the United Nations (food from different parts of the world). This is the type of menu Gordon Ramsey would go crazy over and shred to pieces. Portions are not larger than before but prices increased considerably! Food: I ordered a Veggie Omelette with Spinach added and Whole Wheat Toast, decaf coffee, and water. My friend ordered an all-meat skillet, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The omelette/skillet was overcooked and dry. My friend sent back his toast because it was served with a MOLD SPOT on it. Our server was not swayed by the mold and replaced it. No apologies or contact from the managers. By this point, we just didn't want to finish what we ordered and left. Dining room is well lit and spacious. Lots of available seating but could not help that their "Grand Opening" sign has been hanging outside for WEEKS. Servers are slow and never seem to be pleasant (more melancholy). Overheard one server speaking with some guests at a table using profanity. This review was based on my individual experience. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot but clearly is no longer the case. Having watched the gradual decline in quality and service, I am no longer inspired to spend my money at AZ Diner.

I had never been to First Watch before, but I expected a wait. I checked in and was quoted 25 minutes for a party of four. After 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told I was second in line. A few more minutes went by, so I asked again, and now I was fifth in line. I was confused, and they explained that people checking in online could jump ahead of me. They also said they were unable to accurately quote a wait time, and that it could end up being much longer. I know many other places use a hybrid check-in system, and I've never experienced an issue like this. I understand when things simply take longer than expected, but tables were being turned over and people were being seated. I must have just been incredibly unlucky with the timing of people checking in online. After finally being seated about 45 minutes later, we put our order in right away since we were now going to be cutting it close. I'm used to breakfast places being pretty quick, but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up being 15 minutes late to the movie. I expected the opening credits to still be rolling, so I wasn't too stressed, but we definitely missed the first five minutes or so of the movie. The food was pretty good, but my eggs were over hard when I had ordered them over medium. What disappointed me the most was that nobody seemed to care that the quoted wait time was so far off. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Our waitress was okay, but she avoided our table like the plague while we were waiting for our food, probably because she knew it was taking so long. Empathy and kind words go a long way.
