This place cracks me up. We had skipped lunch this day that we visited on a Thursday and opted to have an early dinner. Knowing that Texas Roadhouse has an early dining menu we popped in around 4:15 PM. There was already a 20 to 30 minute wait when we arrived. There were many guests sitting in the entry area as well as the outdoor mister area. Unfortunately, we weren't seated till after 5 PM, so we are unable to take part in that special early dining experience, which is not a big deal. But I'm actually shocked at how many people were there as the restaurant was full. We opted to order the sirloin and barbecue rib combo as well as another sirloin. Both had baked potatoes. We did not have any starters this visit. Our server, I wish I could remember her name, she was about 5'5" with long dark hair. I want to say Shelby, but I don't think that's right. She was very professional and friendly and cheerful when she came to the table. The meal tasted great as usual. One of the steaks was a little cooked under done. It was more medium rare than medium. We didn't send it back as we knew we would reheat it later that evening. As always, the rolls were fantastic. Our favorite part honestly has to be the garden salad. I don't know what it is, but it's so simple but really delicious. Definitely a lively loud environment. Looks like it accommodates large parties as well. Sports games are on in the bar.

We always love TRH yet we don't ever leave a review but today we will! Last night we went in to redeem my birthday app and we enjoyed our time like always! My hubs got a burger for the first time ever and it was pleasantly juicy and tasty and the cook was on point! I got the lil steak bites and they were so good but they always are good. The cactus blossom was the best it has ever been and air fried so perfectly lol

    Sad sad cheddar cheese burger

Well service was ok. Xavier could have made a huge tip just by listening that we were there celebrating our son's 13th birthday... he was barely there.... Food was terrible, over salted and barely warm, u can see the so melted cheese on a burger.. hard rock fries (Xavier did mentioned that he will bring another basket of fries since even he noticed the sad state of them) shrimp were murdered twice, rice was left to overcook and be served somehow... salad was great (the only thing I ate and no complaints.... It's hard to ruin a salad, glad they got that right).. drinks were mediocre .... Wi lol not be picturing my husbands poor dry ribeye steak!!!! Please do better for all the rest that will come back for Father's Day!!!!

Tori and Janelle bartenders Thursday evening was some of the best customer service my father and I received. They were smiling and laughing and making a very inviting atmosphere for everyone. Our order was absolutely perfect as well as our food. Overall a amazing dining experience and definitely will be back.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday with my fiance. This place has been always busy. The food here is good they make it just rite, the steak rib eye was very good. The waiter Andrew made a better customer service, and he was nice and helpful. The service, the only complaint I have is when they ask me how many people I said 2 then they told me it would be a 10 to 20 minutes wait, then the girl came and took the other 2 people was behind me in first, I addressed that to the person at the desk that we were here first, she didnt apologize and was rude about it. I of course wasnt happy cause we were here first and I told her , she did not apologize she just say , once the girl come back will take us to be sitted. That's already a bad customer service because she did not apologize but she was being rude and gave me a look. I felt discriminated because for sure. Ambience here is like any other texas roadhouse decor and booth and tables is plenty. Tips for the girl at the desk when you walk in...she needs to have alot of training and fix her attitude for sure. I dont like to leave a bad comment but I felt like I got discriminated by taking someone else first and they had just got there and I waited about 20 minutes to get sitted, and she did not admit her mistake and didnt even apologized as well.

Unmelted cheese and raw ground beef. Unacceptable.

First time and last time at the Roadhouse. Ordered a cheeseburger that arrived raw inside and the burger wasn't even cooked enough to melt the cheese. If you can't cook a proper cheeseburger, you are in the wrong business. One star. On the other hand, our server was excellent and the ambiance was great. I paid for the burger, left a nice tip and felt lucky to leave alive.

We had a great meal here. Got there for the early dine special. Was sat in the bar area. Our server was great, friendly and good at her job. We both got the sirloins with loaded potatoes and a salad. Of course the bread too. And we were full afterwards. Had beer on Happy Hour as well. A great meal, couldn't fault it. Typical roadhouse interior with attention to baseball.

So my family took me out for a birthday lunch on a Sunday. Just a few minute wait for a table. When we sat down and the server came to get our drink order, I mentioned receiving an email regarding getting a free cactus blossom for my birthday. He said okay and asked to see it which I showed him and he didn't even wish me a happy birthday. A bit rude, but whatever. I'm a grown up but my family decided that this was the place they wanted to celebrate it at so it could have at least be acknowledged. Anyways, the other place that also serves the onion, has the superior one. Food was average this visit but at least the ribs were done properly and of course the rolls were a hit. Server was pretty scarce, he never checked back for drink refills or anything. Oh and the server didn't bother to tell us how to remove the cost for the cactus blossom off the ticket. He just dropped it and bolted. We had to flag him back down to show us how to do it on the table kiosk. Gee, thanks guy!

What's the time and price of the early bird dinner now?

She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

Today is my 28th anniversary. I made a special request, for a booth where we could sit side-by-side. All in their notes. And, through OpenTable, it actually shows them it is actually your anniversary. When we arrived, at our 5 o'clock time we were told they couldn't accommodate. Said we could sit at a table. No thank you. And they put us in the far back 2-seater face to face table, where it is a stretch to even hold hands. I was emotional, 28 years! Told the waiter when he asked 'how's everything going today.' He asked. So in tears I answered. About 5 minutes later, the manager walked by and in tears I told him too with 'why ask for special requests if you can't make it happen?' I got a sorry. So I made a new reservation at our favorite Scottsdale restaurant and we left. And yes, I did tell the hostess that they could give our table to someone else. The manager was there 'are you sure.' YES...I wanted to scream. A crushed never again patron.

So it's more of a special/high-end experience. Longhorn, by contrast, is a more "every day" family steakhouse experience. It's what a good old-fashioned steakhouse should be. If you want to go into a dark, wood-paneled, bar-like establishment with red vinyl booths and mob bosses meeting in back rooms, you're better off at something like Durant's. This is not that. What great steak! As I said, the best we've had in the west valley. Excellent cuts, top quality meats. Cooked perfectly and as asked for. Tender, flavorful steak and the best baby-back ribs Ive ever had. For once they're not drenched in sticky-sweet, cheap BBQ sauce and overcooked. Nope, these were moist and fork-tender. The burgers are fantastic and the ribeye is juicy and full of flavor. The sirloin is top notch and the "Flo's Special" filet mignon is just perfect. The sides here are particularly good. The broccoli is unusually good and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese is legendary. It's hearty and gooey and very cheesy. Excellent. The potatoes are standard but very tasty and come with all the fixings. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake is my favorite. It's delicate and not cloyingly sweet. It's a delicate, light, fresh-tasting and very moist cake. The perfect finish to an excellent meal. You can't go wrong here. It's always packed, so do the waitlist before you arrive. Really good.
