Lunch Special

My first meal after landed in AZ. I got their lunch special. BBQ chicken on rice and steam veggies with an spring roll. I was good eats but I had better from another place near by.

Bbq chicken, short ribs, teriyaki chicken

Love Hawaiian BBQ was an actual treat. The open kitchen makes me feel safe that the food being made is made with absolute care and prepared fresh. The dining room is a nice cute comfortable place to dine with a clean setting. Makes you actually forget you're in the heart of Bethany home road. Not too many bad things to say. 4/5 stars

Burnt kalbi on a delivery order.

I ordered delivery today and what I received was subpar. The kalbi is burnt and charred and the spam masubi is 90% rice with one thin slice of spam. I won't order from here again

We had decided to stop here because we had a coupon and have never tried it but absolutely love Hawaiian food, upon arrival the establishment was really clean and well kept which is always a good sign. We were greeted by a gentleman who was very kind and helpful that answered all the questions we had . The order was placed and probably ready within 5 minutes so just absolutely great service . Now onto the most important thing the food , we decided to order the teriyaki chicken 2 meat plate and chicken Katsu 2 meat plate which I have to say were absolutely great everyone loves the food and it was a really good size portion. We also ordered the bbq pork manapua as well since a lot of places do not have these and they were absolutely amazing . I will definitely be stopping here again in the future

Kids teriyaki chicken, he had most of his chicken. Toddler approved =)

I really enjoyed all their meats I have selected. Hawaiian chicken, shredded pork, and katsu chicken. I thought the Hawaiian chicken looked dry but it was tender and delicious! Their katsu chicken was crispy (on point!) and their macaroni salad was good (had nothing to complain about) My toddler had kid teriyaki chicken and finished all his meat! (Toddler approved =) My husband loved the lemon chicken the most. I also had their Manipur and my son and I loved it. Similar as the Chinese dim sum bbq pork bun. I personally loved the fact it was family owned and operated and had a hole in the wall feeling. The only thing I was a little sad about was not having enough katsu sauce and rice. But either or great food, will be back again when I'm in the area. (I never have pics for my reviews... because I always dig in before I can think of taking a pic! Lol

It was ok. Nothing special nothing bad. I ordered the combo of Kahlua pork and Chicken katsu with a side of Dumplings. The food was ready when I arrived which was a good sign since I did it through the app. Dumplings aka gyoza were just regular fried gyoza, nothing great. White rice- didnt eat but its white rice Mac salad- very mayonaisey reminded me of grocery store mac salad Chicken Katsu - crispy and thing Kahlua pork- delicious and moist! The Kahlua pork was the real saving grace. I probably wouldnt go back if it was any other city, but its probably some of the best food I have had in Phoenix which isn't saying much :). They did have siracha but nothing else in terms of spicy sauce, or hawaiian hot sauce options.

1 short rib($1 extra!!) and two pieces of chicken. Great char but Bland food.

Sad to give a small non chain restaurant a Bad review, but I gotta be honest. The food is bland!!!! Rice is mushy and tasteless. The cabbage is even worst, it tasted like it was old and not fresh at all, again no flavor. I chose a plate with BBQ Chicken and Short Ribs. An extra $1 for the ribs gave me the expectation that it would be good. However you only get 1 small short rib!!! What saved it was the char taste but there was not a lot of marinade. Again the same thing with the chicken. For $11 I was expecting a lot I guess. And if you are paying much you should expect great food. However this place failed big time and I feel like I was robbed. Make the drive, go to Ono(it is a hit or miss though).

Went here with my wife yesterday. I ordered the curry bento. The sauce was bland. There was two slivers of carrot, no broccoli or potatoes as advertised in their pics. The fried rice and maceroni were good. I know we are going through tough times so I ate mine. My wife ordered the noodle soup. The both was bland, noodles very over boiled and the chicken tasted like it had freezer burn. The pictures on the menu showed vegetables in the soup there were none. The "white meat chicken" was grey and dry. They offered an exchange but would not give a refund for the soup. We were turned off by the food and did not want anything else. Bad food and bad business practices. Won't be back .Take better care of your custome rs!

This place is GREAT. We were headed somewhere else when my wife spotted the sign. So we decided to check it out...... Inside is virtually spotless. But that's just a minor bonus. Service is awesome. Friendly, fast, and efficient. Now lets get to the best parts...... The pot stickers are the best i have had in the 7 years i have been in the valley. The fried shrimp was awesome. Very clean flavor, not overwhelmed by the fried oil. The pork and chick and a must try. But the Manipur is very addictive and something you DON'T want to miss out on. THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE STOP. DON'T PASS IT UP.

This place was amazing and all the food was so fresh! I would definitely come back to this place. Best Hawaiian food in Arizona.

Warning!! Gave me food poison a hour later! Please be careful everyone

Service was pretty standard, no fake pleasantries but not rude at all. We both got the Tonkatsu ramen combo with a drink and 2 dumplings. Mini got hers without green onion, I had mine with green onion. Dumplings were deep fried, tasted pretty basic. But it's not like they said they handmade them so it was as expected. The ramen was a little salty, but the soup was very flavorful with nice depth. Definitely would eat it again. It had pork which was okay, not tough but nothing remarkable. The noodles tasted pretty good, not over cooked with a decent chew to it. It came with corn and a soft boiled egg. The soft boiled egg was so good I should have ordered extra. It was cooked exactly how you'd want it to be for your bowl of ramen. The place was pretty good, I'd definitely come back again and try new items. It closes at 8 but I guess they stop ordered at 7:15, so don't try to stop in super late. Also, the parking lot has signs that say no backing in. That's how I like to park so I parked nearby. It's located within a large parking lot, so it doesn't look like parking would be tough unless the church and restaurant parking nearby are also full.

I'm assuming it's a family-owned joint because the one and only guy working front of house always takes care of me. He's awesome. The place is cute. It's tastefully decorated, and they have a very-on-brand, ginormous full moon light on the wall that's illuminated from behind. It's super cool. I've only ever seen a couple other diners in there with me at any time. The food comes out super fast, which is great, because I'm hungry as soon as i step in the place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the food is always good. If you're in the area, this place is a must-stop.

I ordered hot sake and it did not disappoint. My daughter got a Ramune, miso soup, and shrimp tempura roll. No complaints! Miso soup was missing tofu that day. Apparently they were all out. Nevertheless the soup was very nice! I got two specialty rolls. The names escape me at the moment. The menu doesn't have a huge selection of rolls but I found what I like and both were VERY good! Good amount of fish vs rice. Everyone is very attentive. Service is very good. The ambiance is interesting :) nothing fancy but not too bland either. There are full moon/moon related decorations. The rolls are also named with the Moon theme in mind. Overall very nice and we will be back to try their ramen !

You walk in get seated. Then that is really the last time you talk to someone. You scan the menu and order from your phone. I think this cuts out any confusion. You then have someone bring your food and drinks to your table. They do walk around and offer your more broth as there is a lot of food in those bowls. And when you add the dry noodles you need more broth. I think that is cool. They do drop off the check midway through. It does get busy around 7pm we got there just before 6 so got in no problem.

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

Our waitress comes to us and takes our drinks and orders. She came back to advise us that they were out of the cucumber salad. I ask if she could add something to my order (I wanted to add an egg to my ramen, not on the side but in the ramen) to which she acknowledged. Roughly 10 mins later, a new waiter brings me out an egg in a bowl! I politely told him I asked for it to be in my ramen, not as a side. He looks at me as if I've lost my mind, then asks if I want it in a to-go box... why?? I told him a second time, that I asked for it to be on my soup, the ramen! He walked away. Another 15 mins goes by and yet another server comes and brings out our food. Everyone around us is getting service, like multiple times, but we have yet to see our waitress. We asked a 3rd waiter if we could get sauces, which he brings out. We eat our food, and guess what...? Still no waitress. We finish our food and had to ask a fourth waiter for a to go box, and finally our waitress comes out and asks if we need anything, to which I tell her, no, we've already been taken care of! She walks away with what seemed like an attitude. Brings our check. Another 10 mins goes by and we don't see her... every other table is gettin their service from their waiters/waitress and we don't. So we get up and pay for our bill, ourselves at the hostess table. Our waitress comes up to take our bill, doesn't say anything at all. No, I'm so sorry I'm waiting multiple tables, or hey sorry I'm working both inside and outside, nothing. Besides the less than par service the food was really good!! If she would have at least communicated to us, how busy she was or is or anything, this would a be a totally different story.
