If you like a great vibe and great sushi that is all you can eat at a great price then this is a spot you have to try. My favorite roll is the trump roll. I also love their mackerel nigiri and yellowtail nigiri. Don't skip the edamame or their miso soup to start as it is delicious. Sake bombs and banter with the sushi chefs is always a good time. The service is quick and on point. I go there like 2 times a month on average. Love this spot!!

The sushi at Trappers is great and always fresh! I enjoy bringing my kids here on Sunday because kids eat free! The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is very casual and cozy. Trappers is my go to for convenient sushi at an affordable price.

One of my favorite AYCE sushi spots in Arizona! There weren't that many AYCE sushi spots in Arizona so I was so stoked when I came across Trapper's and it's actually reasonably priced and good! Parking isn't an issue since they have their own parking lot Service is ok, not too attentive but they are friendly Pricing is reasonable. Lunch price for the regular menu is $22.95/person (11am-3pm daily) and dinner price for the upgraded menu ($32.95/person 11am-8:30pm daily). The regular menu has a good variety of baked and raw sushi (20+ options) and the upgraded menu includes the items on the regular menu as well as nigiri, long, and premium rolls. It takes awhile to get your dish after you place it especially on the weekends because it gets pretty packed since you're only allowed to sit at the sushi bar! Sushi is super fresh and so delicious! Loved the rainbow roll and the generous portions of fish on top of the California roll! I would say it's 8/10 Would totally recommend and return

Heard they have a really good all you can eat/happy hour type situation. The sushi was really good and fresh. The drinks were weak but kinda expected it.... The vibe was cool and the service was nice priced well.

Always great service when I come here. Love the ambiance and the food is always fresh. I always recommend coming here for lunch for their specials. It is a little more pricey than other sushi places, but the quality is worth it. The drinks are really good too.

Went in for Sunday dinner they had awesome specials they had buy 3 rolls for $33 it was a bargain! All their rolls are amazing and the service is great . The Trapper bites are a must ! They also offer all you can eat sushi special off a certain menu

We come to this place often for their all you can eat sushi! You have to sit at the bar in order to enjoy the AYCE sushi (there's about 10 seats). The AYCE menu also includes their appetizers which I highly recommend the trapper bites and gyoza. The sushi chefs are always kind and will make any modifications you would like. This last time we went, I did feel our rolls had too much rice and not as much filling. Either way, we will continue to go back! Note - if you don't at least order and finish 2 rolls then the AYCE price may not be worth it for you. Come hungry!

Came here for the very time here during May and my friends and I were not disappointed. We went during happy hour which if from 2 pm till 6pm everyday (excluding Friday and Saturday). The prices here were affordable and very much worth it on how tasty our sushi was. Our server was name Julia and she was such a sweetheart. Very kind and attentive to our table. I highly recommend coming here during a weekday to experience sushi that is different and has incredible flavor

Yes lawd!! This spot was a find! Funny because we always visit the Ahpoki next door lol never thought to try here until one day. Minimal table service but they do offer seated dinning. Their sushi is fresh, just like Ahpoki they know what they doing with they bomb af seaweed salad. Restrooms and dinning room were both clean. It's a nice and low key vibe atmosphere in here really chill for dates. This review literally has reminded me to visit here again lol

It is all day but only at the bar so sometimes there is a wait because of limited seating. they have a lunch all you can eat and a dinner all you can eat.

When is the all you can eat? i can't find it anywhere on the website and most peoples reviews say it's only on certain day

You can order all you can eat anytime during the day. If you go at lunch you can choose the dinner all you can eat menu if you want certain rolls.

It was both gorgeous and delicious!!! Nestled in an Avondale strip mall, this cozy little Japanese place serves up a deep menu of over 60 different sushi rolls, five different kinds of ramen, as well as staple Japanese and Korean entrees like Teriyaki, Bulgogi, and Katsu bowls. The restaurant is pristine: everything in the front of the house was clean and the decor was a balance of both modern and traditional Japanese. Their lunch rush was steady; the dining room was well occupied shortly after opening. And the service was attentive and genuine! This is, hands down, one of the best sushi spots in the area! I will be back!

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. We've been coming here since Sushi Love first opened,…read moreand in the beginning this place was on top of things, the servers were friendly and attentive, and while the kitchen could be a little slow at times, it was never anywhere near as bad as what we experienced today. Here's the timeline from when we arrived to when we finally received everything: 12:10 - Seated 12:20 - Finally able to order drinks and food 12:27 - Received my single sushi roll 12:54 - Guest received his entree 1:04 - Just received our gyoza appetizer It took over 10 minutes after being seated before the waitress even got us water. I was trying to look up other restaurants in the area because we were about to leave. What made this even more confusing was that it was a Sunday right after opening, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Because the appetizer took so long, I ended up splitting my single sushi roll with my guest so he wouldn't have to sit there hungry while waiting on his food. Even then, it still took over 30 minutes for his entree to arrive, which was ridiculous considering it was just one dish. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly 45 minutes for a single appetizer order of gyoza. We were honestly close to leaving before it ever arrived, and I would have left still hungry. If the appetizer had come out in a reasonable amount of time, I could have actually enjoyed the roll I came there for in its entirety instead of having to split it just so we could get by while waiting. The pacing of the food also made no sense. Appetizers should come out before entrees, not after everything else. Instead, one person was eating while the other sat there waiting, which made the entire experience awkward and frustrating. If the waitress paced things correctly it would have made a huge difference and likely helped prevent the kitchen from getting backed up. On top of that our waitress never apologized for the delays or acknowledged the excessive wait times, not even after we waited over 10 minutes just to get water. She did repeatedly asked if we "needed anything else" while we were still waiting on food. Like, yes, we needed the food we already ordered? Overall, the experience felt extremely disorganized and uncaring from both the service staff and the kitchen. What's especially disappointing is that this wasn't our first bad experience here. This is now the second visit in a row where we've dealt with extremely slow service and a noticeable lack of attentiveness (last time we were there they forgot some food, not only ours but also a table next to us). This place used to be good, which makes the decline even more frustrating, the kitchen needs an overhaul or something. Sushi is good and not as slow but ordering anything from the kitchen or getting drinks is like pulling teeth to get. Sushi Love isn't a huge restaurant, so it's hard to understand how things have become this disorganized. We gave the restaurant another chance hoping things would improve, but this was by far the worst experience we've had here.

The restaurant wasn't that busy for the lunch rush, and the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The only downsides I experienced was that there was no hot water running in the bathroom that I could tell, and no paper towels were available to dry my hands or open the bathroom door with. I also had a small fly hovering around me while I ate (I was inside). Thinking about this experience a little deeper however (after the bill) changed things for me a bit. Was the food okay? Yes, I think... Was it noteworthy? Not really. The stacks of premade rolls sitting on the counter made me think twice about ever eating here again. I paid around $45 for lunch after tax and tip. I ordered 6 pieces of nigiri, a tempura roll, a small bowl of miso soup, and an iced tea. I don't consider this anything crazy or over the top. Given this price point I expect hot water and paper towels in the bathrooms, especially if employees who are handling our food use those facilities. 1-star, won't be back... oh, and the soy sauce bottle was literally stuck to the counter. I had to pry it off.

A true one‑star experience is foreign objects in the food, cold meals, or no service at all -- and that's not what I experienced. I ordered takeout, and when I got home the food was still hot. My last visit this month for an order of shrimp fried rice was my final straw and I will find somewhere else to find some food. It has been a very slow spiral downward with the quality of food. I am talking years where the consistency was slipping. Then last month it was as if they forgot what they were doing. What was served to me was edible, but nowhere near what I have been given in the past. I hope it was a bad day for the kitchen for the establishment's sake! Call in takeout orders have been a speed bump. You call in and you're quoted a time of when your order will be ready. You pay for your order when you get there. Then the clock starts.
