Eastbound traffic has two options to enter (Walmart parking or Wendy's parking). *Lobby and restrooms were very clean! *Spacious dining room and patio with a lot of seats. *Served by counter barista "Nia". Very pleasant, inviting, and polite! Order: Venti Iced White Chocolate Mocha, Grande Hot Peppermint Mocha, and a Sausage Cheddar Egg Sandwich. Everything tasted great! No complaints! Super convenient location right off Union Hills kitty corner from Sam's Club on the cusp of Glendale x Peoria. Their parking lot is fairly cramped in this tiny strip mall. There are a lot of businesses jam packed in here. In hindsight, it would have been easier to hit their drive-thru. We were greeted immediately upon entering. There was only one other individual inside. Our drinks were made promptly and delicious. The location is incredibly clean. Their walkway and entrance is also quite clean. Decor and atmosphere are on par with most any other Starbucks location. We were thanked for stopping in and had absolutely no issues with our visit. read more

Updated on this location. Pretty disappointed with the staff this evening. My husband went to get our drinks and ordered a drink for our little guy. Specifically asked for a tall iced oat-milk with 4 pumps of chestnut praline.. (it was a drink one of the baristas made for us in the past). She clearly didn't understand and kept insisting the iced drink has coffee! Lol what part of "oat milk with ice" do you not understand and kept asking so a frap? My husband was like just make whatever that doesn't have coffee. Like why are you working here if you don't understand it wasn't very complicated. Then the guy goes and talks shit under his breath where my husband can hear that oh the regulars here get it right and the new ones don't know what they're doing? If I could give a 0 star I would and what is most disappointing is that this used to be a really good Starbucks. I am not sure if they don't follow the recipes right or what?? But any other location I am able to enjoy my drink and be happy about it. This review honestly has nothing to do with the level of service because despite them not be able to make the drinks right they are all fairly nice. What has happened to the white mocha? This is one slow Starbucks. We thought maybe the cars ahead of us were making complicated orders, we ended up seeing what the issue was when it was our turn to order. The guy behind the speaker just seemed rushed and confused. We had to repeat our order many times and he had to repeat it back multiple times. Other starbucks have a system where the drive through person knows what's in stock or not, not this one. When we asked if there was a certain item in stock, the employee had to say be right back multiple times to check. Its not his fault, its more of the barista in charge of the food station for not informing him whats out of stock. I was pretty aggravated as we already sat for over 20 minutes in the drive through. When we got to the window, pure chaos. We had to repeat what we ordered multiple times. In the end they ended up giving us a crushed up snowman pop that made my son upset. The inside wasn't any better. You wouldn't think there was a pandemic going on with the amount of people in there. I have been coming to this Starbucks while the usual one I go to gets remodeled for about 2 weeks. At my usual location, I go every morning and order a venti blonde drip coffee with half and half and classic. It's a family setting that brings me joy each time I go. I typically leave, go home and work, then come back for a refill about 90 minutes later. This has been going on for 2 years with no issue as they realize that where a person drinks their coffee doesn't matter when you're a daily customer, prioritizing loyalty and kindness over small profits. Between my wife and I we probably spend $20 a day at Starbucks. Bad habit I know. At this location however (101 and Union Hills) today, I ran into Brad, and Brad is a policy guy. A real corporate citizen, upholding the letter of the law with an iron fist. He had warned the staff that I was requesting "Not Legit" refills and to ask for a receipt. I was thrown off because they scan the app which has all the data about my purchases. I was told policy is that you have to remain in the store to get a refill. I looked it up, and he's right. However, this action made me go get my last coffee today and say goodbye to Brad. As I've never felt more insulted by a company in my life. My emotions walking into there store today were not joyful like the past many many years of getting to know their employees. Looks like my $20 bucks a day is about to be $0 a day because they want to charge me another $4.50 for the refill, versus .50 cents. A short sighted policy for everyday loyal customers. If I do the math I spend about $7k at Starbucks annually, Again, and absurd habit that is about to stop and become zero a year. I hope today's decision was worth it for Brad because is about to make me $7k richer. Way to know your customers Buddy! read more

Totally kicking myself for not asking for the girls name that was working the drive through around 1030 this morning. She had to be the best Starbucks employee I have ever had. She was smiling, engaging, asked about our plans for the day and made us feel appreciated. Our drinks were made quickly and tasted great. I've been to this location over 50 times and not had a drink made incorrectly which is exceptional. I come to this Starbucks every weekday. I get a Venti white mocha all the time. Specially now that it's getting colder. But there white mochas don't taste right. I've ordered this same drink at other starbucks and it's delicious as always. But at this store it doesn't taste right. Are they making it differently than other stores. Less syrup pumps maybe. Who knows. Fix your drink. UPDATE So the manager there sent me a message months ago. I just spoke to her and she knew exactly who I was and what I was talking about. I 99% of the time I come here I have absolutely no complaints, I adore all the ladies that work the 7am+ shifts They're familiar, friendly and make my drink perfect every time! Although there is one girl that each and every time I order around 5:30 in the morning ahead of time and she is there My drink tastes wrong, it's barely 3/4's of the way full every time she pours it By the time I pulled away this morning ordering at 5:30 with a 5:36 pick up time and getting to the store at 5:33 The photo was taken at 5:38am. I did not drink half of this drink in the 2/3 minutes I had it before realizing how empty it was with cold foam as a spacer. I didn't catch her name because I usually receive such amazing service from everyone else at this location so it's not a second thought at if my drink is full to the top or tastes right because everyone else goes above and beyond at this location . But each time she hands me my drink it's wrong or empty, it might be an early shift but any type of positive attitude from her would be appreciated. She's sullen and short with her answers and looks angry, whoever worked drive thru on Monday august 15th 2022 at 5:30 in the morning needs some serious re-training and help with her customer service skills. My husband went to get drinks from this Starbucks for us shortly after 4:00 pm while I was shopping nearby. He specifically asked for pineapple passionfruit and he was given the pineapple paradise drink with coconut milk. Then they gave him a very watered down strawberry açaí drink that looked and tasted like flavored ice water. When he asked for more inclusions the barista told him they would have to charge him. I have had this same experience at this Starbucks with other drinks that looked and tasted watered down. There are several other Starbucks nearby that make the drinks the way they should be made. This is a Starbucks location that I used to frequent. I used to love it, but in the past year I have noticed a serious turn for the worse in their employees' attitudes. The employees here have recently been rude and snobby. It's to the point where I have stopped going simply because of that. Let's face it-- Starbucks is Starbucks. The drinks taste pretty much the same every time and at every location, so when the staff changed and started becoming unfriendly there was no longer a point to go here. I'm just floored that I tried to buy coffee here and couldn't be helped, I go in to this location every Saturday and Sunday morning and order the same thing, 2 venti dark roast coffees with room. Now there has been times when they were low of the dark roast and I opted to wait for a new batch to be brewed. Today was that day to wait, which has never been a problem before, all I asked was if they could make sure they pour 2 fresh cups instead of one old, one new. Well, he could not say or guarantee that there new small batch could fill both cups!?!! Wtf, they don't brew more than one cup at a time??? When I said that won't work for me, he said ok! Sorry!!! This is the third time I have given this Starbucks a chance. My usual order is a caramel frap . I went through the drive through and when I got my frap the whip cream had melted and I took a sip at my coffee and that was so watered down ! I check the sticker they stick on the cup and it had a time of 4:26 and I didn't get my coffee till 4:41 . I believe they had my coffee sitting there's . The drive through is always slow and the coffee is always bad . I will never come to this location again . I've givens too many chances and it's always the same problem but I've had enough . Service was good but whoever made my drink hand a heavy hand for a drink that is supposed to be majority coffee and was asked to only have a very light/easy on the milk. My double shot on ice tasted like cold milk and was just as light in color, if not a lighter color than my fiancé's iced chai. Light milk=easy on the milk not pour a whole container. I was just really put off. I tried to go back in to ask them to remake it but I was never acknowledged so I just tossed out my drink because it was that gross...it tasted like iced milk . Oh Starbucks.....SMH. This use to be one of my favorite locations. It was on my way to work, it opened super early (4:30am), and the people were great! Something happened and this store has new managers and staff. The hours have changed and during the week they open at 4:30am only on Friday. Which is fine, I make this my Friday stop on my way into work, since it's right by the freeway. The last few Friday's I have t seen any of the usual baristas . This past Friday, I placed my mobile order at 4:43AM and arrived at 4:50AM. The mobile app said the store was open, the lights were on, employees inside and the door unlocked when I arrived. I went in and stood by the end of the counter to pick up my order. One employee stocking the front called out "we have someone at the counter". He walked out and asked if I placed a mobile order (looking down at the ticket)". I said "yes". The next employee rushes out (Jade) and said I needed to leave because the store isn't open until 5AM and hat the safe is open and unlocked. First, should you really be telling customers that you have an unlocked open safe....? I said @you probably shouldn't be telling people that and maybe if that is the case, you should lock your door". I explained that I placed my mobile order and it says that this location is OPEN!. She again told me to leave, take my phone with my mobile order and find an open Starbucks store and three will make what I ordered. The guy behind the counter said he would make my coffee since I was here - this is the only good service I had at the location. I told the girl Jade he was making my order and she became more upset and again said I needed to leave. She continues to go on about how the entire store staff is new, the manager Katelyn is new and how the manager makes mistakes all the time with the schedule and the do NOT EVER OPEN AT 5AM on FRIDAYS. Again, odd to me since I've been here at 4:45AM picking up my mobile orders on Fridays. She even went to the back, brought out a schedule and waved it in my face. During all of this, two other customers also placed mobile orders and walked in to pick their orders up. I told this girl I was going to contact corporate because he service and representation of the Starbucks brand is being slaughtered by her! I did, I wrote up a little messages about what happened and even said they should look at the video due to how she acted. Starbucks corporate responded in a very respectful manner. Overall I can say I will NEVER go to this location EVER again and shame on whoever hired that girl Jade. Considering all of the bad publicity Starbucks has recently had due to how the employees treat customers - what a shame. Wherever the previous staff at this location went...your missed.
