The food at Wildflower was good, but unfortunately, the overall experience was terrible, and I will not come back until this manager is fired. The restaurant itself had a nice enough atmosphere, but the way management treated the workers completely ruined it for me. I witnessed a manager named Joe speaking harshly to a worker who was visibly upset after losing her 4-day-old son. Instead of showing compassion while she was grieving, he became angry with her for crying. I found the situation extremely upsetting and felt that she deserved empathy and understanding. Wildflower is on of my favorite restaurants! Their food is always fresh and their presentation is thoughtful. The chop salad is a work of art! Not only is the food delicious but their environment is pleasant and extremely clean! Last, but not least, is the amazing staff who are always friendly and efficient. I'm unsure how long she's worked there but it seems like she has a long list of people who appreciate her and look forward to seeing her, especially as she acknowledges them by name at times. Just be love the decor the glass flower hang from the ceiling reminds me of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. And they were clean the restaurants are very clean. The team member who took the order was very nice. She greeted us. She was patient with my elderly Mom. The food was great. I had a bagel sandwich. Still oatmeal strawberries. Couldn't complain The bagel was soft lightly toasted as we requested. Everything was great but when you when to get your drink you had to get your ice from an ice chest. The BLT Plus and the Steak & Blue are my favorites! The BLT Plus is loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar, and avocado! So flavorful and delicious! It was my first time coming to this location and it was such a great experience. The parking lot had plenty of spaces to park right in front of the building which was nice, especially as the weather starts to get warmer. There was no line when my friends and I went in so we were able to place our orders immediately. The staff was patient and kind and let us know to grab a table before they get full as she noticed the tables were starting to fill up. This is my first experience at Wildflower and I was blown away! Wildflower is a local Arizona bread company chain that feels like an elevated Panera. Apparently, it has been around for almost 20 years and was started in Scottsdale, Arizona. We came here for the salads. I ordered the seasonal brussels sprouts salad with chicken. I couldn't believe all the veggies it came with including arugula, carrots, celery & jicama, red onions, watermelon radishes. This was an incredible salad that was so satisfying! The restaurant itself is very clean and cozy with lighting that is not overly bright. All the employees were very patient and helpful as we ordered. Can I just say how nice the staff is here?!?! Every single time I have been in they are so courteous friendly and kind. I have to say for a chain restaurant this place has pretty good breakfasts. I wish the breakfast sandwiches came with a side salad or side of fruit but the spicy chipotle was pretty good. The pastries are addicting too but for lunch I am obsessed with the salmon chopped salad. I probably get it every single time. We came at peak time for brunch in Sunday and it while it was busy there rally wasn't a wait for a table. I chose this option and got a steak & blue sandwich and a potato cream cheese soup. Sandwiches are pretty big, but can be messy. The whole taste of it the sandwich didn't come to a coherent whole; the tomato was stronger than anything else in the sandwich and the steak wasn't too flavorful. However, the potato cream cheese soup was delectable. What I liked about this place is that they have 6 specialty drinks in addition to the normal soda pop selection. I tried all six and really enjoyed the blackberry lemonade and passionfruit unsweetened tea. My crony got a chipotle chicken melt. Service was quite amiable. I wait ALL YEAR for this sandwich to become available, it's my favorite thing to eat there! I have gotten my friends that don't eat there to go in and have it and we let each other know when it's available, they all love it. Someone has decided not to bring it back, very bad decision and I'm so disappointed. So many restaurants start screwing with the menu items, changes to recipes so it tastes different or remove it. Really bad experience today. We went in just after 1 pm on a Sunday. Not too busy. As someone who has worked for WF, I know busy and what's possible. My family got their meals no problem and they said they'd be back with my COLD sandwich. 15 mins went by before I had to walk up to the expo line myself. What do you know? My chicken salad was sitting right there and the expo wasn't doing anything with it. I finally got his attention and said "Hey, my family is pretty much done eating and I'm still waiting for a chicken salad sandwich?" Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are great; especially the Taylor Ham & Swiss breakfast sandwich and the Reuben sandwich and also the Chicken Salad sandwich are my go to for lunch or dinner. Plus, their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are very tasty. They also make some of the best breads I have ever had . . . my favorite is the Red, White, and Blue bread. So, the food is very good, but their customer service team is even better! They greet you warmly, they listen carefully, they smile all the time, they check to see if your food is what you expected, and they truly care about your experience.
