The more concerning issue, however, occurred at the pickup window. I watched the customer ahead of me receive a medium hot drink, only to hand it back 2 minutes later. The employee then passed her a cold drink, which immediately raised a red flag -- because I was expecting a hot drink myself. If a customer orders a cold beverage, receiving a hot cup should be an obvious indicator that something is wrong. Yet the drink was accepted, brought into the car, and only then returned. That alone suggests a lack of attention from both sides, but the responsibility ultimately falls on the establishment. When I reached the window, I asked the employee who became so nervous he was shaking whether the hot drink mistakenly given to the previous customer had been mine. His response -- was yes, claiming they had already remade it -- which was simply not credible. There was no time for a remake, and the drink I received still had an opened top where you drink from, a detail that is both unhygienic and unacceptable in any food‑service environment. This was not a minor oversight. It was a failure in sanitation, honesty, and basic customer respect. --- What They Should Have Done * Maintain a clear, consistent line system so customers are served in the correct order. * Verify drink types before handing them out -- a cold drink should never be served in a hot cup. * Discard any drink that enters a customer's vehicle, even briefly. It should never be reused or passed to another guest. * Be transparent when a mistake occurs. A simple "We made an error; we're remaking your drink now" would have been the correct and professional response. I loved Dutch Bros and the employees. You can tell they are a younger group but try to engage with you while you wait for your beverage. I tried the Carmelizer with a soft top - large. I was wired all day long so next time I'll get a smaller size. There appears to be more coffee than a Starbucks venti. I would definitely recommend. This place done me wrong by opening up so close by, because I have spent way too much money and got in the way too many calories from this place... but I am in no way complaining. I have tried quite a few different drinks from here so far because I like to try a different one every time every time and so do my kids; so we have been getting 4 different drinks every time we've come and my absolute favorite is the golden eagle freeze with 2 pumps of hazelnut and a soft top. If you have kids I advise to come at the beginning of the month because that's when they have stickers and and the kids go crazy for them! Love Dutch bros, but I went through the line and got a small drink that is usually $4.93. Going through the line they didn't ask for a tip and told me the price was $4.93. When I was driving away I saw that I was charged $6.93. I don't mind tipping but for someone to tip themselves with my money is wrong. The line was long - obviously, to be expected, but it moved so quickly. They had so many staff members outside taking orders and the girl I had was SO helpful. I was unsure what to order so she suggested an iced caramel mocha drink and honestly I may go back again this afternoon it was THAT good! I also feel like the pricing was incredibly reasonable as well. Starbucks who?! LOL! But seriously, I may never visit another Starbucks around here again now that this place is here. Today I placed an order at the walk up window because the drive thru line was long and ended up having to walk away before it was ready. It looks like they service the drive-thru and the window from one queue. Regardless, the speed is a little frustrating. Going to give up my ice coffee habit for a while. read more

Tried Dutch Bros for the first time Saturday evening some time after 8pm, and there was no line. I had no idea they were going to have such an extensive menu, so I just chose the quickest thing that caught my eye. HIGHLY recommend looking at their menu online before dropping by if visiting for the first time. The guy taking our order provided great customer service. At the window, it seemed like the employees were having a good time working there. They had some music in the background and sounded like they were having fun. The drinks themselves were fantastic! I ordered a strawberry frost (without whipped topping), and my husband ordered a laser cat soda (without cream). I definitely want to go back to try many of their menu items. This place has made a big splash in the neighborhood so I stopped in. I ordered an Annihilator, which is a chocolate macadamia nut breve, and a lemon poppy seed muffin top. You have options on the classic drinks--I had mine over ice. All Dutch Bros. shops are drive through or walk up only, so they are forgoing the market for people to sit together for coffee or pull out their laptop and work. Instead of having a speaker box for the drive through, they have staff outside taking customer orders at their cars--a nice human touch. The customer service was excellent at this location. The place was extremely busy, but the line moved quickly. They handled any customer issues generously and effectively. I wish I liked what I got better. The coffee drink was sweet and milky--I didn't taste any chocolate or macadamia, or much coffee for that matter. No caffeine kick that I could detect and I am somewhat sensitive. The muffin top was a frozen item that got kind of gummy as it thawed. Not real appealing. I might need to get something more traditionally coffee-oriented. My wife has had a better experience and has been back a few times. Their marketing game is strong. They give out collectible stickers that are a hot item. But I'm not sure why one would switch from Starbucks, and you really can't if you want to sit somewhere. read more

This specific storefront is a complete joke. I was visiting from California and Spring, TX is my hometown. I've been to Dutch Bros a good amount of times in CA and never had a bad experience. In this case, it was very disappointing with the lack of customer service or concern as it turned a 5 min coffee trip into a 30+ minute coffee trip. This is absolutely ridiculous and none of the staff even bothered to apologize for how long they took to make our drinks. Mind you, we went to the walk-up counter instead of drive-thru and me and my little sister were the first and only ones that ordered and other people ordered after us. Three orders that came after us got their order first and I'm 100% sure they forgot about our order. Not sure if it's because we were wearing masks or that we were Asian but who knows why they made us wait for 30+ minutes knowing that we were waiting on our order of TWO DRINKS for a long time. And the kid running the counter literally gave zero f*cks about if we had our drinks or not with his smirk or whatever. I love Dutch Bros, I wish that they would open a location in Baton Rouge. The lines move very quickly, both at the window and in the drive-thru line. There is a wide variety of drinks, where everyone can find something that they would enjoy. All of the drinks are reasonably priced compared to other places in the area. And the employees are always super sweet and personable. The first time I went I didn't realize that there were going to be so many different options to choose from. The girl that was taking my order was super helpful and I ended up loving the drink I got, and is one of my go to drinks. read more

I tried this place today as the only option we have around is Starbucks. I'm disappointed and not sure I'll return. First of all they don't have a menu in the drive thru - there were pictures of 4 cold drinks but no hot coffee. I looked on the website as I waited in line but same results. When I got to the window I asked if they had hot coffee and she said a lot and the menu was available if I downloaded their app. As I don't need any more apps nor had the time to download it, I just asked for some hot coffee with steamed milk and a poppy seed muffin. The coffee was actually not bad - not as bitter or burnt like Starbucks but the muffin was in a plastic wrapper and literally frozen. I was shocked. I would like to start off by saying the lines are REALLY long but the drinks are definitely work it! I went with my friend and my boyfriend yesterday and the man taking my order was so polite and recommended some great things since it was our first time there. The staff is also pretty nice when handing out our drinks. I went back yesterday before work with a coworker to get her,me,my boyfriend and another coworker some coffee! the golden eagle chai is sooo yummy but they did mess up one of the drinks so they gave us the right drink and let us keep the messed up one! i really do love this place! definitely worth trying read more

I was right behind them and they did not take my order and I was waiting there with them staring at me for 5 minutes. I went back to the drive thru and the same thing again. Their drinks are great but when there's 3 or more cars in the line they stock pile everyone's order and wait to hand them out. Today was the 3rd time in a week where this happened! Today there was an issue with the person in front's order, no problem, it happens. In the meantime everyone else (10 other cars) had to wait 20 mins for their drinks which were already made and just sitting there. What they couldn't even spare one person to run out everyone else's? I don't usually write reviews ever, but I am very disappointed in the service of this Dutch Bros. They turned a 15 minute coffee trip into a 40 minute long trip. We live very close so we were excited to try it. We decided to go to the walk up stand and order my two drinks. After ordering and waiting for 15 minutes, I asked the worker how much longer for my order, and he said "it's coming soon." I wasn't made aware there was a long wait before ordering. THEN they made the orders of two groups of people who ordered AFTER me! It's ridiculous that they made me wait even longer. There was no apology for the long wait and they didn't even acknowledge why my drinks came after the people who ordered after me. I waited a total of 30 minutes for the drinks. The coffee we ordered hot wasn't even hot when I received it which leads me to believe that it was just sitting on the back counter. Very disappointed.
