How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience.
