What a customer service win! I'm one of those types that craves strong coffee, fruity tea, and water to wash it all down...in that order. My search populated two options, Black Rock being the higher rated, so along with my pup, we made our way to Black Rock. From the exterior alone, I could tell that this was a newer location. Everything felt new, crisp and bright. While I can only speak to the drive thru experience, I was surprisingly impressed. Instead of numbers, we were treated as caffeine deprived friends. The barista smiled and joked and asked us about our day. I was offered napkins with our pup cup, and by the end of the interaction, I truly felt I'd just visited a small mom n pop shop. As for the product, my pup called the Pup cup a win. My toffee delight coffee was sweet but satisfying, and although the strawberry green tea with freeze dried strawberries tasted artificial, I drank the entire thing, and would likely order it again. When I tell you I go out of my way to make a stop at Black Rock as much as possible! Not only are they super sweet & kind. The products are so so good! I'm obsessed with all their teas & adding flavors in them. And love their lavender latte, along with their matcha with lavender. Not really too much to say on my end for right now except that I finally got the opportunity to try Black Rock Coffee, even if it was a quick drive-thru experience. I rolled up to their Spring location at the late hour of 10:30am, and had no issues ordering via the drive thru. I went for a simple 12oz hot vanilla latte and it cost about $5.74---pricey of course but comparable to what you'd get at Sbux. My drink was on the sweeter side, which I liked. I didn't probe to know the full selection of milks available, but with the whole milk they probably used it definitely felt heavier/creamier to me. I'm definitely looking forward to trying their other selections in the future. read more

I was in a rush and my typical coffee shop was a little out of the way so I "settled" with this one and boy was I happy I stopped in. I needed a quick pick-me upper in a early hot summer day and a vanilla iced latte was on the menu. I went on the drive-thru and ordered a medium vanilla iced latte, they made it so fast! The staff was very friendly since they said a cheerful good morning and once I did my contactless pay, I sped away. I will most likely make more stops! read more

Saturday morning search for a good cup of Joe brought us over to Black Rock. Different vibe here: edgy, eclectic. A baseline filled rap playing over the speakers. A few comfy chairs and lots of seating with indoor/out capabilities. Medium decaf flat white, with half and half (no heavy cream, so they're losing a star for that). Service was fast, coffee is HOT, and the flavor is mellow. Not the best cup I've ever had- and I know it's b/c it's missing the fullness of HWC. If we saw another Black Rock along our path someday, we'd certainly return. read more

Music is way too LOUD. Its very heard to converse when you are having yell to th person sitting next to you. Coffee shop or concert hall? The food was good. Breakfast burritos, pastries and coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very spacious seating area and clean bathrooms. read more

WHY IS IT SO LOUD! Like, i get it, rock is in the name, but even a space where speakers aren't blasting would be good. Now that i got that out of the way, there's a reason why it's so dead/slow here or most folks use the drive through. I was driving through town and had to make a quick work phone call. This was the worst place to stop, but in the burbs, there was literally nothing else. i got a drip coffee, which was as basically just brown water - not good. The staff was nice enough. I asked if there was a quiet spot and the staff had a kind of snarky response. She said "I guess you could go sit outside". Cool....Mind you it was literally raining. We were so excited to see Black Rock Coffee Bar finally open this weekend and we're all eager to try .We went through the drive thru and ordered two sausage & cheese kolaches , wild berry smoothie, mint chip chiller & iced Mexican mocha . I have been to this coffee bar a couple of times now and they have consistently given me friendly, quick customer service and delicious high quality drinks. I ordered a medium iced lavender matcha and in my humble opinion, they have THE best matcha I have ever had. This drink is very creamy and the lavender really elevates it. I overheard how the employee was talking to another employee and it was just a bit rude and off-putting set the vibe for me as it was my first time coming in. Black Rock was recommended and I tried their Mexican mocha which was delicious! Black Rock's Mexican mocha is a popular drink both hot and iced. Although it was a little too sweet for me, it had the perfect mix of rich espresso and chocolate, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The coffee shop is very nice and open inside, perfect to relax and enjoy a coffee or get some work done. I'll definitely return to try more drinks! read more

Was on my way to get coffee from my usual coffee shop. When I arrived the line went out onto the feeder road. Then I remembered the day before I passed by a new coffee shop, Black Rock. I decided to go give it a try. So glad I did! When I arrived there was only two cars in the drive thru. The customer service was awesome, from the girl that took my order to the guy at the window. The iced caramel blondie was so good. I think I may have a new favorite coffee shop. read more

Love the service everyone there is so sweet and helpful. The coffee is amazing my fave is the caramel blondie but i think that's a fave for many. The only downside is that after 3-4 o'clock there is usually only one person working maybe consider adding extra people at closing especially because of safety concerns. I don't think young girls should be left alone this is not good especially since they have had a break in before. Other than that i love the place it's nice and calm and very different from other coffee shops. read more
