While their coffee isn't the strongest around, their menu is vast and varied. Any coffee lover should be able to find something to love on the menu. But, the real star of the show? The service. I live in Milwaukee now and miss their of drive up, speedy service, and happy atmosphere a ton. They are absolutely unique and lovely for the fact that they keep incredibly kind and friendly service top of mind at all times. I make it a point to hit Dutch Bros every time I'm in Boise and will happily continue this tradition for as long as they're around doing what they do in the speedy, friendly, fun way they do it. Inside out: the location tends to be extremely busy, they have at least added signs to not back up Broadway and to come in from the other entrance. I wish this was a little more convenient to get to from the highway. They wait time was terrible. It is hard to get back on the road from the location because they are on a busy street. This is a drive-thru coffee shop, though the line took longer than anticipated. Really cute design and presentation, and the menu provides a nice variety of options (you can order pretty much anything iced or hot). Prices are set at $3.50 for a small, $4 for a medium, and $5 for a large, tax included. Coffee was decent, but nothing special. The Cookie tasted just like the latte in my opinion. read more

I would have rated Dutch Bros. zero if I could. I stopped by there on 10/19/19 to purchase some drinks and a gift card for my daughter. However after charging my credit card for the gift card they informed me that their card machine was not working and then they informed my they could not provide me a credit at that time but look for it in the next 5 to 7 days. As of the writing of this review still no credit. I attempted to contact Dutch Bros. Corporate by both phone and email and even though they state someone will contact me withing 24 hours it's been 10+ days and still no response. Dutch Bros. it is a simple as refunding my money. Five stars for their caffeine, energetic personalities, yummy almond milk lattes, and compliments that are so genuine they catch you off guard! I swung by here while getting an oil change next door at Pennzoil. I ordered through the walk up window as my car was obviously preoccupied. Right when I walked up I was greeted by a joyful (and no-doubt, caffeinated) gal exclaiming, "Good morning! How are you?" To which I replied, "Awesome, and you?" And here's where the compliment that is so genuine it caught me off guard came into play, "I'm great...you have very kind face!". Never got that one before, but I'll take it! We moved past small talk and I made my order - a small almond milk late with one pump of white chocolate. SO GOOD. I usually get drinks that are similar to this one when I go to Dutch Bros. Their drinks are made on the sweeter/more calorie dense side - so if you like your coffee to taste a little bit stronger, you oughta request less sweetener in your drink. But don't get me wrong, their drinks (as they are specified on the menu) are yummy. They are just more on the dessert side of things, in my opinion. If I am splurging, going all out and forgetting about calories - I am all for a Honey Kicker - half and half (Lord, help me), honey, Irish cream, and espresso. These guys like to hook up military members--woohoo! Food: n/a Drinks: The quad shot white coffee americano is a kick in the pants! Very strong without the strong coffee flavor, though slighly & naturally nutty. I love to drink it with splenda and a little bit of sugar-free syrup. They'd get 5-stars from me if they served drip coffee. Atmosphere: Two-lane drive through, patio seating outdoors and a walk-up window. Can I give them more than 5 stars? When I went to Boise State I came here almost every day. Their drinks are SO much better than big chains like Starbucks. I think I've tried everything on the menu and I have no complaints. What's even better is the OUTSTANDING customer service!!! These employees care about more than just what you're drinking, they truly care about building relationships with their customers, which makes coming back an absolute pleasure. I befriended all of the employees during my time in Boise and I still look forward to going whenever I am back in town! My only complaint is that they need to open a chain in the Midwest. This was my first time visiting any Dutch Bros and my last time visiting this one. After waiting in the drive-thru line for quite some time I was irked to see the employee at the window chatting away with the customer two cars ahead of me for at least 2-3 minutes. I thought maybe the order had not been completed yet but after their extended chat the car finally drove off. I thought that was very unprofessional and inconsiderate to keep customers waiting in line while having a personal conversation and I, having places to go, had to leave without getting my coffee. Maybe some time when I have an hour to kill I might try my luck at another Dutch Bros and finally sample the coffee. read more

As someone who greatly Loves coffee, this place was not all that impressive. Dutch Bros. has their niche, and unfortunately that was never for me. Pulling up to this place, you will be barraged with loud music, and young workers wearing shorts that are far too short. The professionalism here is clearly lacking in the attire. When it comes to coffee, it becomes a little muddled to review. On one hand, their niche and target audience is not for the coffee connoisseur, but rather for the coconut mocha with extra whip cream and little coffee to it. That is wonderful if that is for you, I however asked for both a mocha, and an espresso doppio. The mocha was far too sugary, and left me with an upset stomach unfortunately. The espresso doppio was bitter, lacked flavor, and definitely set at a ground far too coarse. This place is good if you want something extra sweet and are in a rush, or care for loud music and service. Many people flock here, I however was left disappointed. Great coffee doesn't need to be hidden with hundreds of grams of sugar. This place has its market and always will. read more

I went here for the first time on my birthday because I heard that they would give me a drink for free on my birthday. The staff were extremely friendly. When I told them it was my birthday they told me to order whatever drink I wanted. I ordered a smoothie assuming they would give me a small one since it was a freebie. They asked if I wanted the large and said it would still be free so I got a large. I had no idea that their larges were so big. I got a 32 ounce smoothie for free! We ordered my husband a drink too and it was very reasonably priced compared to other coffee places. I will definitely be going to Dutch bros more often and it will be a yearly tradition to stop there on my birthday from now on to get a great birthday freebie. I cheated on my normal DB's on Vista for the location down on Chinden. I don't normally like doing that but I was in a pinch and had no choice. Not enough good things could be said about the staff members and their attitudes. They are friendly, fast, and make a good cup of coffee. I got my usual Iced Kicker. Even at my own branch, the Kicker can vary greatly depending on who is making it. It's never bad, sometimes it just isn't as good. The kicker I got from this branch was like that. It was by no means bad, it just didn't handle my business like the ones in the past. This could have been from any number of reasons. It could just be my taste buds. Who knows? It doesn't make DB's any less of a 5 star establishment. People just sometimes miss. It's worth a stop for coffee any day of the week though. Try it! read more

I was a loyal Dutch bros patron for years. Specifically at this broadway location. But the service, the quality and the experience has really taken a nose dive the last few months. Just a few examples. I ordered an iced mocha, they asked if I wanted whipped cream, I said no, when I got to the window to get my drink, they handed me my iced mochas with whipped cream, I indicated that I didn't want whipped cream, they took the drink back, took the whipped cream out and then handed it back to me, with the same dome lid...I was appalled. Another example, they close one of the lines every day, they claim it is faster; problem is that when cars back up on Broadway, they constantly let those cars go in front of you when you are merging with the line on the other side, very frustrating! I can honestly say that at this point, I have been frequenting other coffee shops in the area that don't seem to have these issues. read more

I have never been to Dutch bros before and went because people talk about how amazing it is. This Dutch bros location exceeded my expectations of basically any fast food service I've ever had and on top of that, this blended chai that I got is SO AMAZING. The staff treated us like we've known them for years and they took their time to help us out. When we got there they had a huge line which moved so fast. They had the nicest girl on a tablet taking our orders and told us to not leave unless we liked what we ordered. That's how every customer service place should be.
