Ordered an energy drink. When we drove away and put the straw in it exploded everywhere in our new truck. Went back to tell them that was a bad drink. And the gal said "Oh yeah, I meant to tell you that when you pit the straw in to be careful" with not a worry in the world. Bad customer service. read more

As a drive thru coffee place it's very difficult to get into unless you're headed south on Meridian. The coffee is pretty average. The staff are the high point for the place. They are friendly and appear to be having fun. The drink was well made, but the coffee itself is mid. read more

I want to be very clear in this review, the employees that have worked here for a long while are stellar, however the new hire with a prepubescent mustache, glasses and craptacular attitude literally makes me never want to come back to this location. his energy was low and he seemed offended at having to do his job. On top of that he is wildly deaf, he got every single detail of mine and my husbands drink wrong and again seemed annoyed when we corrected him repeatedly. I know the hiring pool is a nightmare right now but he needs to go. I love this location otherwise. read more

A lovely stand with great girls! I'm from Washington and the chocolate covered bean on the cup has always been my favorite little touch when I go to a coffee stand. I'm unfortunately here in Idaho for sad reasons, my father passed away from cancer, so I was hoping for a few short sweet moments out of a long sad day. We definitely got that, so thank you girls! read more

I have been in to human bean after I have worked there. The granita is disgusting, really watered down. The last time I tried to leave a review they took it down, it tells you a lot about the company and who they are as people. read more

The best coffee/drinks around. Ive been in McCall working the last 2 days. Heading through Boise up to Oregon now. Rushing to get a drink before they close, so I give them a quick call knowing I was going to be a few minutes past closing. The girls were super cool and went out of their way to make my drink and have it waiting. This right here is how you earn customers for life!!! Great job Wednesday 6/8/22 --9 pm Appreciate it read more

The Human Bean - 20 oz. Irish cream cold brew w/Irish cream cold foam - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Meridian, Idaho

Stopped in for a quick coffee and I was met at the car while in line for an employee to take my order. I was glad to see everyone wearing masks! And those handling the coffee were in gloves too. Always happy to continue to support businesses taking precautions. The ladies working were all super friendly as well. They were very busy! I ordered a lavender snowy (their white mocha) and YUM! It's a great calming drink - much needed in the week leading up to Christmas. It wasn't very sweet, so next time I may ask for a little more, but still delish! read more

Sent my husband here today to get us two iced snowy mochas while I stayed at home with our newborn. He came home immediately after and I could tell that they were off. Color was dark and the drink tastes like regular coffee with milk in it. Absolutely gross. He even tipped beforehand and the drinks we got are terrible. $13 for two coffees we now have to pour our own creamer in to make drinkable. Tried calling the phone number to this location and couldn't get through. Such a disappointment as a sleep deprived parent. read more

I think this is the best coffee around! It's not bitter, but smooth & delicious. They can make almost any drink sugar free & dairy free! There are a lot of snack options, and non coffee options for the kiddos. This location has a great group of people working there! read more

They get my drink wrong nearly every single time. It's such a simple drink. Why is this happening???

Ordered a 20 oz Americano and asked if they could put in a "tiny, itty bitty amount of heavy cream". The gal taking my order assured they would. Well, I just got home and opened up my cup and my coffee is practically white. It's going down the drain. read more

Love human bean can't stand this location. We normally order for delivery from here, but recently they have been out of rockstars for one of our drinks, and don't offer a replacement or refund on their end, so we have to continually report a drink as missing, leading to issues with our account. I called and spoke with Emily who said "bummer but there's nothing I can do" ya. Bummer that you can take $7 and not provide a drink, refund or replacement all right. read more

Nah. Firstly, the guy who came up to the window called me a man. Secondly and more importantly, they made literally every item on our order wrong. They made both drinks hot instead of iced, and instead of remaking them, the dumped ice into HOT drinks... Turing them into watery milk. By the time we finally got them, we were so frustrated we left. A total waste of 15 bucks. Skip this location. read more

The iced drinks aren't bad but not the best. What I'm frustrated by is that I asked for a 16 ounce fruit smoothie to be split in 3 separate small cups for my little children and at first she said no because we would have to pay extra for the cups but didn't offer that. So I told her I'm fine with paying the extra 30 cents for the cup, she left and returned to say that we actually can't order the split smoothie like that and we had to pay for 2 8 ounce smoothies instead. What's the point of offering a large size like that if you'll require for us to pay for 2 smaller sizes to make the same amount of drink? My suggestion is to be a bit more flexible and kid friendly. I didn't order the smoothie at all so which decision actually saved the company money? read more

Really disappointed in seeing this location slowly spiral downwards. I am a regular who used to come every morning for the past couple of years. All of the beautiful faces I used to see every morning are gone. The quality of the drinks and the service with all the new baristas are poor. Not sure what has happened within the last year or so but my family and I have noticed a significant difference in quality. So sad, it used to be our favorite place. read more

Such delicious coffee! My favorite place for a Mexican mocha. Not too sweet and not heavy handed with the cinnamon. The best part are the "beans" with your drink - chocolate covered espresso beans! So glad they are expanding throughout the Treasure Valley. read more

So being from Portland I consider myself a coffee lover and feel I have a taste for not only good tasting coffee but also appreciation for good coffee people. This place has both! Stopped here after church last Sunday. Husband ordered an iced coffee, boooooring, haha but said it was good. I was feeling more adventurous and ordered a Java Chip Granita.... ohhhhhhh emmmmmm geeeeeee! Best part was the price, I felt like we were stealing our coffee! Service is outstanding. Ohh and you get a chocolate covered espresso bean. Sold. read more

Awful, either the cold brew was made incorrectly or I was overcharged for weak iced coffee.

This is a drive thru coffee shop. They have no seating; you can only drive in. The service has been quick and polite. Every time to order a cup it comes with a complimentary chocolate covered espresso bean. I can't actually tell you if the coffee is good, because I hate coffee. My wife prefers this coffee compared to Starbucks because it's not bitter in her opinion. I like their milk steamers. They also have a significantly large selection of sugar free syrups, which I prefer. Also, their cups are sized like they should be; small, medium, large. Rather than picking arbitrary pretentious names that I can't remember like other overrated coffee shops I won't name (cough, Starbucks) they use conventional sizes and have reasonable prices. It has a simple menu with good options. read more

Good location, the staff is very nice, the coffee is okay, just terribly slow service. If you're in a hurry avoid.

I truly love The Human Bean and it is a favorite of the rest of my family and even out of town family. I have only gone to 3 human beans - this one, one in CDA and the one out in Caldwell - good experiences at all! It is primarily all young folks working at these shops and they are always very pleasant and provide a simple transaction which is especially helpful first thing in the morning. I haven't strayed much outside of my typical iced latte but the couple things I have tried or family members have tried, have been quite tasty. They offer all kinds of options like low carb, sugar free, soy milk, skim milk, etc. I like this establishment for it's courteous, professional staff, it's great coffee and the easy process in which to obtain it. The Human Bean will always be my first choice in this and surrounding regions. read more

Went through the drive-thru of this Human Bean on Saturday afternoon. Pretty decent cup of coffee, and just the right thing as a pick-me-up that I needed at the time. Oh, the barista's were perky and fun, and offered the chocolate covered bean with the cup, which I love! Thanks folks! read more

Excellent staff, awesome coffee and it comes with a chocolate covered coffee bean! Definately give it a try!

Brand new location and my brand new favorite spot to quickly caffienate. As my tastes in coffee have changed somewhat, I have found my old favorite Dutch Bros to be just way too sweet. On the other end of the spectrum, I find most Starbucks varieties to be either too bitter, or more like milk shakes. Human Bean really hits that balance for me. Heh, I almost said "sweet spot" but that would have been somewhat misleading. Not only that but they make a very good Mexican Mocha, which has become my "go to" drink when I do go out for coffee. I also have to say I really like the vibe at Human Bean. They are every bit as friendly (if not more so) than the very peppy baristas at your typical Dutch Bros, but you don't get the loud, pounding music that can sometimes be more distracting than anything. All the folks I've encountered at Human Bean locations have been very friendly and helpful, and I haven't had to shout to get my order across. Bottom line folks, if you haven't already, give these guys a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Really easy drive up for some great tasting coffee. I would say for Meridian it's some of the best. I ordered a FLAT WHITE and it was made hot and tastey. The barista didnt ask me what I'm doing today or what my plans are like some drive ups. It looks like a clean large new workspace so im sure the staff is loving it. Oh, and the music wasnt blaring like some drive ups...The only reason I can't give five stars is because if I drive to Boise I can get third wave coffee that is phenomenal. Good job Human Bean, I will return often! read more

I absolutely LOVE The Bean! Fast and accurate service, they go that extra mile to remember you and your common drink orders. The ladies working there are beyond amazing!! I'll always be loyal to The Human Bean no other coffee spot can compare! But this particular location is my favorite. They know my drink and get so creative with the flavors! I appreciate the time and personal touch they put in everyday to make our day better with just the few moments they have with us. Seeing those familiar smiling faces every morning and through out the day definitely makes my day better! They give the place such a great atmosphere and you that desire to come back again! My friend introduced me to human bean after being a customer at other local coffee shops around cherry lane in Meridian, ID. My friend always gets a extra shot in her 20 oz blended coffee, and I only get 1 shot in my 20 oz. The regular, friendly baristas are always helpful and kind, but today the new staff members from another human bean argued with me about how they cannot switch shots between drinks. I asked to talk to the owner. The owner who came over to the drive thur window was not helpful and was rude. Instead of trying to work with me and saying "we will do it this time, but in the future" he told us how it was going to be, handed us our drinks and stood there. read more
