I love the pearl tea. Other coffee drinks are good too. Love their customer service. My friend said the sandwich is delicious.

a haiku for my favorite coffee in the valley:…read more Neckar Coffee, oh! what tasty drinks and pastries best of all the shops there are almost too many good things I could say about Neckar. Not only is their house roasted coffee the best in the valley, the preparation is consistently fantastic. The service is unmatched. My aunt insists on going every time she visits us, because Michael, one of the baristas, is so lovely. He remembers her every time. He found my husband's hat that he had left there and saved it under the counter until the next time we came in. Their house made pastries are insane. I dream of their sour cream coffee cake and ham and gruyère hand pies. Don't even get me started on their soft pretzel. Everything is crafted to perfection, including the atmosphere. Cozy (not sterile like many third wave places) without being cluttered. Perfect lighting. Good music. Each detail has been thoughtfully curated, like outlets at every table and barstool, and bag hooks under the bar for bar seating. Grant, the owner, refuses to offer there unless it is The Best, and it absolutely shows. My only complaint is that too many people know of it's perfection and it can get really busy. Oh well, it won't stop me from singing their praises!

I was running around town getting some errands completed. I was crashing and needed a much needed…read morecaffeinated beverage. I looked up local coffee joints by me and luckily Push and Pour was by me. I took that as a sign and headed in. Plus this Push and Pour has been on my to go list so it was meant to be! I love that Garden City is starting to revamp and flourish. It's been great seeing all these new local businesses and homes growing. I didn't realize a couple restaurants that I was by to hit up are close to this shop so it will be a must to do a coffee and food run one afternoon. The vibe of this shop is chill. I love the outdoor seating. I look forward to cooler weather when the big garage doors are open. Inside is beautifully decorated. The art on the walls are just stunning. Enough seating to chill and enjoy your drink. I ordered an iced cold brew with sugar free vanilla and cream. I usually order an americano when I try a new spot out. I wanted a richer coffee taste today so the ice brew was a must. The gal behind the counter was super sweet. I told her about my new kidney and asked her to put the cream in my drink for me. I can't use communal creams or waters. Without hesitation she said yes. I appreciate her so much! My drink was perfect. The cold brew was rich in taste. I did add an extra pack of sweetner and it wad perfectly sweet. It did have the right amount of half and half of it. The sweet barista made a great drink for me today. I'm happy that I got to come in and peep this joint out. I kicked it inside for a bit and checked out the patio. It was nice enjoying my drink here. The venue is very unique and different. It makes it incomparable to the other shops in town. I am going to do a food and drink run sometime soon! I look forward to another round of cold brew from this joint and I grab some tacos next door.

Thank goodness for living in a rainy city ..I had prepared all my life for this moment. When we…read morearrived, it was absolutely pouring, and being from the Pacific Northwest, we didn't think twice about waiting in line .As soon as the rain let up, though, the line grew dramatically, so we were glad we had stuck it out. The bakery itself is small, but the display case is anything but. It's packed with beautifully crafted pastries, each one more tempting than the last. Honestly, everything looked worth trying. We settled on the Rose Croissant and the Lox Croissant Sandwich, and both were excellent. The rose croissant was a standout with the rose flavor delicate yet present in every bite, which is rare for floral pastries. It never became overpowering or faded into the background or tasted artificial. The true star of the meal, however, was the lox croissant sandwich. It was absolutely stellar and one of the best savory pastries we've had in a long time. The coffee was just okay, but that was fine because the pastries completely stole the show. The staff worked quickly despite the steady stream of customers. There is a bit of seating both indoors and outdoors, although most people seemed to be taking their orders to go ,perhaps because of the weather. If you're visiting, come for the pastries. They're absolutely worth the wait.

If you're like us and like specialty coffee flavors like salted caramel, lavender, honey, etc., this probably isn't the spot for your coffee fix. That said... the pastries are absolutely worth the visit! Everything we tried was beautifully made and delicious. Just a heads up: it gets very crowded and busy, so I'd recommend arriving early or going in with a little patience. It's not typically a quick grab-and-go stop, but the pastry treats make it worth slowing down for!

Greeted with a smile and a "Good morning" when I walked in, a lovey start…read more I just ordered a brewed coffee. The self serve coffee area was neat and tidy. Best bit, the price of the coffee was about $1.50 less that other places I have been to with the same set up. It appeared that they serve local coffee, as the bags displayed were brands I am familiar with. Not a large place, but nice and neat. It has indoor and outdoor seating. There were two friendly girls taking care of the drive thru and counter. The serve food also, looked like handheld items, as I heard a customer order a burrito.

Quick take: Yes, decent espresso…read more Coffee Snob Version: First some background to be fair. I buy and roast my own beans and tried beans from all over the world. I have an Excel file full of roasting profiles per bean with what worked and what was less good. I tend to like African and Asian beans. I have use the same Breville machine for 15 years, drink espresso and espresso based drinks exclusively. Yes I would consider myself a coffee snob. I live around the corner from here and have meant to come try them for a while. I was sick a few weeks ago so missed two roasting Fridays, I roasts every Friday and ran out of my own beans. As you know if you are reading the Coffee Snob version, Sbux disappoints, so hey... perfect opportunity to try here! What to try... curious to know about their beans, I ordered a Dopio and an Americano. The Dopio lets me experience just the bean, the Americano what it tastes like dilluted, the flavor can change a bit. The Americano also tells me how much water they add. I tend to make mine with equal parents espresso and water, there is an actual name for this that eludes me at the moment. What was odd was that as they pulled the double espresso shot, there was an unusual volume of crema on top, I actually saw the Barista dump some of the crema off before pouring the remainder in my cup. This is caused by a few things but beans that are too recently roasted is a primary cause. Freshly roasted means usually need at least a week to off as the carbon dioxide in the beans. All that crema was likely CO2 relates, so if anything would have made the shot undrinkablly bitter... And the Barista seemed to know this! I have had beans that needed a month to stabilize. One day it's sharp and bitter, as if by magic, the flavor has changed entyrly and is wonderful! The flavor of the Dopio would tend to support this as it was on the sharp side. That sharpness came through in the Americano which was full to the brim. The fix is simple, I add a small amount of whipped cream and swirl it in. When I get a less than ideal roast at home, this is the fix. I'm certain milk based drinks, cappuccino, breve, etc would overcome this easily. Will I go back, if I am out of beans, definitely, but now I know to add a bit of whipped cream!
