I'm not sure if I've ever had a good experience here. I keep coming back hoping it's changed but it hasn't. I ordered an iced coffee, my husband a frozen coffee and of course they closed down the blender for the night (4:00pm) they don't close for another few hours! So he said he's take an iced coffee with cream and Splenda and I wanted one with cream and sugar. Well, mine had no sugar and his had Splenda and sugar!! This is pretty much our experience every time we come. Either they are out of coffee or out of donuts or closed only because only one person was working. Ugh this has to be the worst DD ever! If I could give you guys 0 stars I would. The meanest, most unhappy people working here. I had my kids in the car through the drive thru, and they were trying to tell me what they wanted and they were being so rude to us like we were an annoyance, then I said can I have a tall coffee because I was feeling rushed and of course I know that's Starbucks, but at the time I was a little stressed trying to get my order so they weren't rude and the woman said, "we don't know what that means this isn't Starbucks" in a really mean voice and that was my last time I will ever go there. It early and I just drove 35 miles from central Phoenix to Fountain Hills this morning to deliver a couple things I brought from LA. As someone who really enjoys apple fritters, I was VERY disappointed with this one! The raspberry cheesecake donut was definitely better, but pretty much like any other cream filled donut, except the filling did taste somewhat cheesecake-like. Ok - went back after 6 months..I mean it was a rainy day I needed a quick cup of coffee and some breakfast before I started a long day of meetings. I know I said to myself 6 months ago no more...but I was desperate, it was early, and I live next door. I got the Big and Toasty and can I say it's absolutely disgusting! I order through mobile order and then walk in solely to get a cup of water for my dog. They said something along the lines of your order just came in as they pick up my ticket and my friend's ticket for our mobile orders.... I know I want water. So then I'm waiting with my friend outside and the one woman brings out my coffee but leaves my food inside? Weird but that's fine I go in to get my food and am waiting for my friend's coffee. I continue to wait until one of them looks at me and I tell them that I'm waiting for another iced coffee. She looks confused, even though I saw her pick up two tickets 20 mins ago. Yes, this is how long it took even though it wasn't busy at all. They find the ticket and I continue to wait..... finally, the girl sees me again and asked her coworker are you going to make this drink, her coworker says no. NO?! So the girl with the ticket decides she will. I finally get the coffee and bring it to my friend .... and there's a bug it in. My friend goes in to have her drink remade, the employee makes the coffee hands it to my friend and says "i ran out of skim milk so I made it with 1% hope that's okay." We went to this Dunkin location at 6:50. Their hours say they are open until 7. They had already locked the front door and would not talk to us at the drive up microphone. We pulled up to the drive thru window and saw an employee inside. We waited at the drive up window. The employee opened the window and we said we wanted to order. He said they didn't have anything to sell. This was 10 minutes prior to closing and the employee obviously wanted to close and leave early so would not take our order. The employees here are SO rude. We live 5 mins away from this location, so we've been there many times. The rudeness has gotten unbearable. Dunkin' PLEASE re-train your employees! I rarely give a review like this. I've given this location multiple chances hoping the service and quality would get better. No such luck. I've been to this location a few times because it's so close to my house. Every time I've been here, they have messed up my order and/or I've waited 10-15 minutes for my order... which is usually 1 bagel and an ice coffee. Last time I was there, i ordered an everything bagel toasted with butter and an ice coffee. I got my coffee immediately after paying then waited another 5 minutes (at least) at the window for them to give me my bagel which was wrong. I was given a plain bagel which was only half toasted... yep, only the top half of the bagel was fully toasted and the bottom was not even warm. I can only think of 1 time my coffee was made correctly as well. I've never had a hard time with a DD coffee or bagel until going to this location. Employees are never friendly. Never say good morning or thank you. The past three times I've been there I've heard the workers in the drive thru fighting with each other. If you are unhappy about someone leaving early due to a migraine or fighting about where you put something in the refrigerator, it seems like common sense to shut the drive thru window. I came in today to get a dozen of donuts. There were 2-3 cars in drive-thru ahead of me and more coming. There was one employee working probably due to less business or maybe one on a break. He acknowledged my presence as soon as I walked in and said he'll be right with me. I can see that he had his hands really full and he was moving really fast. Having to take orders on drive-thru, make the orders and drinks, ring them up all by himself, and also provide service inside (me). Anyone in this situation would have a mental breakdown. The employees here are really nice, and the food always tastes great. They've always had the items I wanted (usually chocolate frosted doughnuts and vanilla iced coffee). I also come in with coupons (usually from their surveys) quite a lot, and they've never had a problem putting in the discounts or anything. I'm taking away 1 star for their track-record with messing up my orders. I've only had a problem once or twice with my order when I'm in-person at the counter, and it was fixed really quickly (they forgot to give me my doughnuts once, and forgot the coffee another time). But almost every time I got through the drive-through (about once a week), they seem to have a really hard time getting my order right. For example, the last time I went through, the guy was 100% stoned, and he not only a) forgot the doughnuts, but also b) forgot the flavor pump *and* cream in my coffee. I caught the doughnut issue, but didn't realize how badly he had messed up my coffee until I had already driven away. I'm taking away the other star because the wait is sometimes quite long; even when I'm the only one in the store, I've had to start eating my doughnuts while waiting to pay because they're looking for coffee ingredients or helping people in the drive-through. There's sometimes only one person working even in the mornings, which can make things go quite slow! Overall, the food here is good, but you have to be patient with the wait and prepared to tell them to fix your order. read more

I work in the same plaza as this Dunkin. I went in 20 mins before my shift was to start to get 2 donuts for a friend and I to eat before we start. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes without even one word from the 4 staff members I saw, after making eye contact with each of them. When the lady finally came up, she was rushing me out and didn't give me a receipt, no "thank you for waiting" no "sorry about that", just "what do you want?", as if I was annoying her. She basically tossed my donuts at me and said "NEXT!" after I handed her the money. (Which was totally unnecessary, as there was one person behind me) Side note: there was one car in the drive thru line and one older gentleman behind me. It was 9:30 in the morning on a Wednesday. Let me just say this...this is by far the best DD that I've gone to and the service is always great to us. I'm seeing some negative reviews, and I'm guessing submitted by those "certain" residents of Scottsdale that are used to having their a**es kissed on a regular basis.
