So happy we finally tried Randy's Donuts! My husband and our boys love donuts--we usually grab them for special holidays or little family treats, and this place is now our new go-to. The donuts were a hit with everyone (they started digging in before I could even snap a proper photo!), and the coffee was just as good. I'm usually more of a coffee-only person when we get donuts, but Randy's cake donuts changed that. I had the blueberry cake donut and it was absolutely incredible--moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. Paired it with an iced Americano that was so smooth and bold it didn't need a drop of sweetener. Perfection! The staff had such great energy--friendly, welcoming, and clearly happy to be there. Skip this place. Dry weird flavor cinnamon roll. The bear claw had mystery apple filling. Could not gag either of them down. My husband hated his maple long John. The clerk said they make their donuts the night before in Gilbert. So not fresh. Staff pleasant though. read more

I popped in to grab some treats for the office as I saw they just opened in the neighborhood! There was so many fun flavours and so many free samples upon entering! I went for the donut holes assorted as they are quite large and figured that way everyone can try a bit of everything. The donuts were devoured-!! Went in on a Saturday morning and was greeted with a decent variety of donuts. There was just one worker up front who greeted me with a smile and a warm hello. Ended up going with a mix of some classics. Overall the donuts were very good, fluffy, and full of flavor. I wish I could give 1/2 stars because I would rate the overall experience 4.5, but I can't so the rating will be 4. The reason for the rating is the lack of merchandise. Not uncommon for a donut shop, but they have a beautiful glass display just sitting empty along a wall begging to be filled with merch to sell. I asked about merchandise and the worker said "we definitely sell it but..." and looked a little lost looking at the empty case. In other pictures in reviews, you can see the same glass case barely stocked if at all. Maybe it's petty but you are an iconic donut shop, there should be plenty of merch available for purchase. If you don't want it, ditch the empty display. At the end of the day, the seasonal box top was a great touch and there's no such thing as a bad donut. Please just don't expect them take your money in exchange for a shirt or keychain that says "Randy's". read more

First had Randy's at a work event then husband and I tried them on our own. ALOT! The doughnuts are ALWAYS so very fresh and delicious!! My fav is the Nutella doughnut- so delish with the rich chocolaty and the fresh pastry. Husband loves the bacon maple! Savory crisp REAL bacon and who doesn't love the mellow "mapleness"that just goes along with a doughnut. This place is so awesome. Tried the maple bar, devils food cake and a glazed. Disappointed in all three. Years ago we had donuts at the original Randy's and were less than impressed. Of the three the best was the glazed. The donuts were doughy and when taking a bite the donut just compressed The glazed had an after taste. Maybe the oil needed to be changed? I went there for the first time to order a large ice coffee and one single donut. Place was dead not a single person in there. The gal upfront overheated the first donut and had to throw it out. She also gave me a medium iced coffee so let her know I paid for large..... what does she do dumps the medium ice coffee into a large cup scops it full of ice and fills the rest up with straight milk. Not sure what the confusion is but if someone orders a large they simply want more coffee not a medium deluded to hell with milk and ice. The job is simple - serve coffee and donuts. Gonna be tough sledding for Randy. Me and my employees wont be going there in future. read more

This rating is on donuts alone, this has nothing to do with the staff as they were attentive and friendly. The place was also clean and inviting. The old fashioned donut had an orangey taste to it that was strange. The red velvet cake donut had no flavor except for the icing, it was like a cake donut with food coloring. We didn't finish our donuts as they just weren't great. The other issue is the donuts were pretty pricey considering prices of other similar donut shops in the city. The old fashioned was $2.05 and the red velvet was $3.65. Bummed as I have heard great things, I'm hopeful this is a one off and maybe a different day they will be better. read more

A great & legendary donut shop. Their Butter Crumb donut is unlike any other! It is a perfect mess. Warning don't eat while driving & prepare for crumbs in your beard. Worth it! Their boba teas are straight up delicious. The girl at the counter suggested that I may want half sweet if I don't like my drinks too sugary. She was right. I'm am grateful for the suggestion. I pre-ordered 2 dozen donuts and paid extra for delivery only to be texted by uber 1 hour before they were supposed to be delivered saying they went to get the order and they ran out of donuts and were closing early. Went to the location at Scottsdake Rd. near Paradise Lane. I ordered a chocolate old fashioned donut. It was dry and hard and I am thinking was not a fresh donut but made days ago. I did eat it until I was no longer in the vicinity otherwise would have returned it. I've had similar donuts for many years and know fresh from old. We finally decided to change up our Sunday donut tradition from another shop and give this place a chance. To say we'll never be back is an understatement. Not only will we not return -- we'll actively tell people to avoid it. The service was absolutely terrible. The woman at the front was rude, cold, and clearly didn't care at all. She didn't greet us, didn't offer help, and couldn't recommend a single thing. She stood there like she didn't want to be bothered -- like we were an inconvenience just for showing up. We ordered a box of donuts and two coffees -- one black, one specialty. She brought out the specialty, and when we asked about the black coffee, she dug through receipts and flatly said, "You didn't order one." Except -- yes, we did. She just didn't ring it in. And here's where it went from careless to offensive: instead of acknowledging her mistake, she tried to charge us again for a basic black coffee. After we tipped her $5 and spent $47 total. No apology. No "let me make that right." Just a dismissive "nope, not on here" attitude. The lack of basic customer service and accountability is comical. This place could've been something special -- and we genuinely wanted it to be. We came in excited to support a local spot and make it part of our weekly tradition. But instead, we walked out disappointed, frustrated, and frankly annoyed we wasted our time and money. If this is how you treat customers, it's no wonder the place is empty. Do better.
