    Kale & Berry Salad

Best part of First Watch is consistency throughout all their locations. I wanted breakfast but opted to get my veggies in today. Kale & berry salad had plenty of fresh veggies with strawberries and blueberries. The dressing was delicious too. Service is always excellent. Highly recommend!!

I simply haven't found a better breakfast joint that suits my picky palette. They got your usual classics, like bacon and eggs, egg sandwiches and pancake combos, but they always find a way to add a cool flavor twist. Breakfast barbacoa tacos are awesome and the healthy options are always a hit (the Tri-Athlete for me). The stuff is always fresh and flavorful, the interior warm and inviting and the service top notch in all the three locations I've been to.

Brianna was our waitress during our rather late breakfast, not quite lunch at First Watch today. She was so sweet. I had so many questions for her and so many requests because different food restrictions and allergies, likes and dislikes. We ordered a total of 4 entrees. We shared the breakfast tacos. Ours were a kind of twist on their menu listing. We requested flour tortillas. That was do-able. the eggs were done more as a scramble with chorizo. We asked for the cajun chicken on the side as well as the pico de Gallo. The kitchen was so nice to do that for us. the beans were so tasty, black beans. They were not only cooked nicely but they were so flavorful and tender. I really liked those. Off of the seasonal menu, we ordered the strawberry tres leches French toast. Brianna did warn us that it was pretty sweet. It was but I think because of the way that we cut it up and ate it, we spread out the sweetness and made it so that it wasn't AS sweet as it could have been. The caramel sauce was fantastic but the strawberries were absolutely amazing. My lil one had a one egg and sausage breakfast, with fruit. She asked for a sausage link instead of the strip of bacon. Her meal was simple but great for her. Her meal was $8. Her Dad had a honey-dijon-pecan salad and a 1/2 sandwich. I think the sandwich was shaved ham and gruyere. The salad topping and dressing was warm, such an amazing flavor!! He shared some with me and I have never said this before but this salad's toppings had you begging for more greens. You wanted to use up every little bit of the dressing and topping. Delish!! The restaurant was busy when we arrived and died down shortly after our order had been put in. There isn't a ton of work on the walls but one piece that I did notice was the mural on that wall that read, "I love you more than bacon." Lies! LOL Another thing that I had off of their seasonal menu was their lemonade with the butterfly pea tea. That was not only beautiful but it was delicious too. I'm glad I ordered it, although it was $5.49. I'm on vacay. That was my little splurge. Our entire meal was about $60. I was shocked. I actually thought it would have been more. I had to give Brianna a nice tip. She was so great about making sure to check with us when ever there was a question or concern about food ingredients. That was so super wonderful. Would I come back here? Yes! I might do that tomorrow before I have to fly home. We don't have a FIRST WATCH restaurant out near us, not that I know of. thank you so much for the wonderful service, great ambiance, the clean restroom, the awesome potential meeting high-top table that has the outlet out along the side of it. That's a nice detail to note. And most importantly, thank you for taking such good care of us. (more pics to come) Visited on August 6th 2025 Waitress: Brianna Today, August 7th, my family and I came in around noon time. Their menu isn't different at all but there were so many things still that we wanted to try. I ordered a traditional breakfast: eggs, toast, potatoes and choice of meat. I ordered the chicken apple sausage because I wanted a link but to my surprise it was a patty. Now I'm wondering if I like it as a patty more or a link. LOL. Regardless of the presentation of the meat, it was delicious and so flavorful, not dry at all. My little one had the most ginormous choc-chip pancake with some scrambled eggs and sausage. She loved it but at the same time, after making I about 20% of the way through, she said it was too much chocolate. My hubby had the elite burrito. He liked the elite flavor and the chorizo but at the same time, the chorizo wasn't enough. The waitress, Peggy, was very nice. She went out of her way to bring him a little more chorizo because the burrito didn't appear to have much chorizo in it. Her gobbled up that burrito, no problem. One of the things that I really liked today was the blackberry iced tea used to make an Arnold palmer. One goof is that we did order the blueberry lemon cornbread but it never came out. Peggy forgot to put the order in. I give her props for being a seasoned waitress and not writing out our order but not only did we order it the first time, we asked about it again too but it still never made it to our table. we asked bout it a few more times but it still never came. finally when Peggy brought us the bill we asked that the blueberry lemon cornbread be removed from our bill since it was never brought. Oops!! Peggy apologized and brought it out to us anyway. that was nice of her but I still would have loved to have been able to enjoy it with our meal. Hadn't been to first watch in ages but today my mom invited me and my son to join her and her friend here! We love breakfast so can't say no to that! We were seated right away and they got us a high chair and crayons/paper for my son. Service was mostly good but there were a few small errors, they didn't give my mom potatoes she ordered at first until she asked, and they gave my mom's friend the wrong kind of toast. I got a market skillet and subbed avocado instead of eggs. I shared it with my son and we both enjoyed it! Potatoes could have been a touch crispier but other than that really good and we thought it was tasty! Clean in here as well. Good reliable breakfast spot.

Went to this location today try out breakfast, . Pleasantly surprised how good the omelette was plus fruit cup. Service was great and thought it was pleasant ambiance or atmospheric in room. I recommend this place as I'm an elite yelp member. Bri was good waitress!!

This is definitely a great choice for breakfast! Loved the central location. The food was great, the restaurant was modern and very clean. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated but it was definitely worth the short wait.

Yummy breakfast and excellent service at this location today. Tried the seasonal donut holes and they were sugar bombs but soooo tasty. Million dollar bacon was delicious. Partner selected Brussels sprouts hash and raved about it. The farmer's hash was the other entree and sooo good too. Pricey breakfast but for farm to table you're paying for premium ingredients. Highly recommend this location.

Came on a weekday for breakfast. My boyfriend and I got sat right away which was nice. However, we sat there for about 10 minutes and no one spoke to us. People arrived to tables around us, and they got greeted as well as drinks. A waitress finally comes up to our table and asked if we had been helped, we let her know we hadn't. She apologized and let me know she didn't know where our waiter/waitress was, but that she can get us drinks. we had been there for a while so we just placed our food order with her at the same time. The rest of the time, no one checked in on us besides our food being dropped off. The food was good, but the whole service/ experience just felt unwelcoming. I don't think I'd be back, at least not to that location.

There are so many great breakfast restaurants around Phoenix, though when it comes to First Watch, I have learned it is a chain of breakfast restaurants that is consistent, offers great food, and has some wonderful deals here and there. I've been going to First Watch for quite a number of years and only realized when taking my wife there for her birthday this weekend that I hadn't reviewed it before. First Watch serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They have a Jump Start menu with unique dishes along with a juice bar, iced coffee, breakfast cocktails, healthier side dishes, EGG-sclusives, omelettes & frittatas, from the griddle items, power bowls, salads, sandwiches, a kids' menu, and small plates and sides. The two classic favorites on the menu include The Traditional and The Tri-Fecta. My wife and I like to order both and split them both. The Traditional includes two cage-free eggs any style with your choice of bacon, smoked ham, chicken sausage patties, turkey or pork sausage links, and it is served with whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh, seasoned potatoes. The Tri-Fecta includes two fresh cage-free eggs any style with either a light and airy Belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake plus your choice of bacon, chicken sausage patty, turkey or pork sausage link. We ordered both with fruit instead of meat. The pancake was large and warm, the potatoes were tasty, and the fruit, toast, and eggs complemented the meal for both of us. As it's very busy over the weekend, you should get the app and check in online in advance so that when you arrive and check in, you may jump up to the front of the line. We did that this weekend, and the hostess gave me a high five saying that most people do not take the time to do so, so she was impressed that we jumped the line by checking in online (before we left home). The only service issue we had this time was something resembling mold on a cup arrived (for water) though when looking more closely, it was likely soap residue. Either way, it was quickly replaced and didn't come up again. Otherwise, the service was good and food arrived rather quickly with everything correct on our orders. Special tip...go to https://firstwatch.com and at the bottom right of the page where it says "Love Brunch? Join the club," enter your e-mail address and eventually your birthday to start getting Buy One Get One Free promotions during the year at random times including around your birthday. Nothing better than a free brunch!

Is it a chain? Yes. But is it your average diner style breakfast chain? Absolutely not. I have visited First Watch restaurants from Florida to Ohio to Arizona, and I know exactly what to expect at every single one because the consistency is unparalleled. Service is always good and the menu is more creative than the average breakfast spot, including a rotating menu of seasonal specials. On this particular morning, my best friend and I enjoyed the frittata, the carne asada hash; and as always, a pancake for the table. My hash was delicious and made great leftover breakfast the next morning. Our server had just started working there but you never would have known it. She was a pro! Oh, and another point for First Watch? Real maple syrup. You really cannot get that everywhere you go; and as a New England girl, I appreciate that so much.

As usual, another great breakfast at first watch! I absolutely love their kale tonic. I love to come here on the weekends. Yes, it can be a bit of a wait, but like to come after 1230. The morning rush crowd has come and gone and a much more peaceful dining experience. The service is always great and I've never had anything here that I didn't like. Justin was great and attentive. They have a nice little patio area for those warm days. Great place for brunch with family or friends or even for a solo brunch!

Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

The salad was crisp, well dressed and delicious with the fried / curled plantain chips. The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless. Overall, the ambience and service was good, however, the food lacks any hint of Cuban flare except for the fried plantains. When I think of Cuban food, I salivate for the unique taste profiles with a hint of sweetness from the fruits. At The canal Club, I found it non-existing. Negatives are very few seafood menu options and the fish tacos were terrible. They were drowning in a mayonnaise based slaw. The corn tortillas were really fresh and tasty, but when I bit into my taco I could mostly only taste mayonnaise and the pickled onions. Our friends even made an unsolicited comment that my tacos did not look good. Luckily, I selected fries as my side, because they were the best thing on my plate. With a name like Montauk, and the beach decor, I expected more fresh seafood options on the menu. More than half the menu was not seafood (Mediterranean platter, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brussels sprouts, salads, etc.). Unfortunately, Montauk does not live up to the hype.

Maple & Ash Scottsdale was a very memorable dinner. I sat in the bar area in a comfy little round…read morebooth, and I would definitely recommend the bar area to dine in for solo or small groups: modern, sleek, and great service. We kicked things off with a complimentary prickly pear vodka cocktail (delicious) paired with a comp app -- looks like they rotate these, and I got hummus with crudite and crackers. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth fatty richness I was hoping for from wagyu and was slightly chewy. - Scallops: tender! - Asparagus: came with a creamy sauce which was a great touch - Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake: MAGICAL. Layered, with crunchy pralines and vanilla ice cream. If you've had the chocolate hazelnut cake at Carbone, this gave me major similar vibes... that good! Will absolutely be back to try a different cut of steak and also the loaded baked potato. The ambience alone is worth the trip, but the crudo and that cake are what's going to stick with me.
