A very popular donut location, Rainbow donuts has a huge selection of all your favorites. Was so excited to try, but honestly a little disappointed in both freshness and friendliness of the person helping us. Hoping to try a different location and maybe that will make all the difference! Get there early to make sure to get your favorite!!

It appears Connie has sold her beloved original rainbow donuts. The donuts are a little bit different than what they were before but they are slowly getting better every time I come back!

While the donuts were good, they did not feel super fresh. The chocolate tasted a little artificial, however, the dough was chewy and light. The donuts were very reasonably priced and the service was good. I wish the donuts were given in a box to keep fresher. They were some flies in the donut cases, but overall the place was clean.

I can't believe I've lived 10 minutes away from Original Rainbow Donuts for over a year and a half without knowing about its existence. Someone should've told me sooner because WOW! These donuts are sooo good. I tried the plain glazed, sugar, and vanilla sprinkled donuts. All of them have such a light, airy dough. The original glazed had the perfect amount of icing (not too much). The sugar was less sweet but I still really enjoyed it since there is sweetness that comes from the sugar on the outside. Last, the vanilla sprinkled donut had just came out of the oven so the icing wasn't 100% set and it was heavenly. The woman working was very sweet as well. A line quickly formed behind us and now I know why! Definitely give this place a try!

Super clean! Friendly owners. The freshest donuts in Scottsdale! Raspberry filled, strawberry glaze, chocolate glazed with coconut and red velvet....All the original flavors I love! Yum

Donuts looked fantastic. Everything was picture perfect, orderly and neat. The lady behind the counter was so nice. I was excited for my donut. The flavor though, not so great. Even though it was morning, the donuts were rather stale. Chewy. Very disappointing.

Truly the best donut place I have ever been!! I have never had such delicious donuts. The customer service here is impeccable. They are so generous, kind, and love their customers. This is a local small business so they truly care about making their customers happy. They have an assortment of gorgeous donuts displayed you'll have no shortage of choices here!

Came in, probably too early, no cinnamon rolls out but I did pick up a lovely & fresh maple long John. So light & fluffy. Also picked up a cronut & crumb. The crumb was cakier & denser than I care for but the flavor was good. Cronut was good but jury is still out how I feel about density. Owner was super nice & apologized for not having everything out but explained it's because it's summer & most people aren't rushing around first thing in the AM & trying to get kids to school. I can understand & respect that. It does remind me though that as a single woman with no kids that I am lower on the customer service scale though since I don't have those same accommodations. I am sure that wasn't the intent or thought process so much as, "phew, my kids aren't in school, I can relax a little." I'll have to come back at a later time and try the cinnamon rolls.

I love the new ownership. This is the best donut shop I have ever been to. Very friendly ownership and staff, huge selection of donuts and drinks. I definitely will be coming back more and more. Emily is the best.

They put way too much ice in the Vietnamese coffees. Big rip off. 2 ounces of actually drink and majority is a cup of ice. Wouldn't recommend this place.

These donuts are SO GOOD! 10 stars, so fresh and they melt in your mouth! Highly recommend ! The owners are the nicest people ever too!

Amazing donuts, discovered them a few months back and have been grabbing them every single week since for my airbnb business. My guests go crazy for these donuts and ask me where i get them once they devour the box! Amazing quality, service, and the owners are so nice! Try this spot!

We were greeted by two friendly faces and asked if we visited before. The person behind the counter explained their array of offerings and was patient while we made a selection. There are a variety of donut flavors from plain to strawberry shortcake. In addition to donuts, they offer breakfast sanwiches, coffee, ice-cream, and cocktails. They also have a donut and beer flight! A bit spendy for a donut at $3.85 each or 4 for $15, but honestly, compared to other specialty donuts I've tried, this is worth it! The space was clean with plenty of seating. It was inviting and felt like a nice place to hang out for a bit. We opted for the maple as that's my go-to flavor and it did not disappoint! It was certainly sweet, but the glaze was well done. The layers are flaky, but also offered a bit of density, making the whole thing texturally enjoyable. We had to stop ourselves from indulging in another so as to not ruin our appetite, but we would certainly recommend and visit again!

I got the peach cobbler cupcake, which was almost $7, and for that price I was definitely expecting more. The texture was honestly so strange. The outside was dry and crumbly, while the inside had this really dense, gummy/doughy texture. Somehow it was dry and doughy at the same time. There were actual pieces of peach in it, but I could barely taste any peach flavor. Overall, it just didn't have much flavor at all. I'm not sure if it was specifically the flavor I chose or if it's because I'm not really used to vegan baked goods. I can definitely appreciate that they offer options for people who are vegan, have allergies, or have certain dietary restrictions and still want to satisfy their sweet tooth. But for me personally, the taste and quality just didn't justify paying almost $7 for one cupcake. The customer service didn't really help the experience either. Since it was my first time, I asked the girl at the front what their best sellers were and what she recommended. I was genuinely trying to make conversation and get some guidance on what I should try, but she wasn't very helpful or engaging. It honestly felt like I was talking to a wall. Overall, it's a cute spot and I appreciate what they offer for people with dietary restrictions, but between the price, texture, lack of flavor, and customer service, it just wasn't for me.

Right next door to OHSO and owned by the same folks (hence the name, Little O's). The patio was pretty full and we were quoted a 30 minute wait, so we decided to order takeout and grabbed one of the couches available. This ended up being a great option as we got to chill outside and not worry about being served. It's next to the canal and I saw a lot of bikes on the racks. My friend ordered the Snatched: toasted croissant, smashed avocado, egg whites, tomato slices, arugula, feta, pesto, side of fruit. I got the chilaquiles: corn chips, red and green enchilada sauce, fried egg, crema, cotija, pico, cilantro. Since we don't drink alcohols, we ordered from their classics menu and chose the morning brew: vanilla & macadamia nut cold brew w/ cream, served cold and the Camelback chai latte: chai tea with white chocolate, salted caramel, & vanilla topped with whipped cream & cinnamon, hot. Last thing we ordered was the Cookie Monster mini donut: chocolate frosting, blue sprinkles, cookie crisp. Our food and drinks were delivered in a bag with plastic utensils. My entree, the chilaquiles, were pretty good. Most of the chips were soft already because of the sauce but there were a few crunchy ones on the side. It was flavorful with all the ingredients and I easily finished it. My chai was good, more on the sweet side but I liked it. The donut was yummy as well. Even though we weren't being served, one of the employees came by to check on us which was cool. Overall a chill spot for brunch! I'd like to come back and try different items.
