Trying this cute little spot for the first time. Haven't had donuts in a while. Decided to have one to celebrate our countries 250th birthday. Wow, we had a couple maple bars,maple buttermilk, and a cinnamon roll. Couple cups of coffee. Glazed did not disappoint. The service was friendly and with a smile. Glaze Donuts is my favorite donut spot when I'm visiting the Cave Creek area. They stand out with unique options you won't find anywhere else in town. First, they have the best selection, with interesting flavor combos like s'mores and different flavors of cronuts like peanut butter n' jelly that are out of this world. They also have your standard favorites like cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, old fashioned and classic glazed. Service was quick and friendly. I love visiting Glaze Donuts when I am up in Cave Creek. I have visited several times throughout the years. Glaze is one of the few doughnut shops that I have found in the Phoenix valley that offer French cruller doughnuts. These doughnuts are my grandma's favorite, so every time I am within the vicinity of Glaze, I make sure to grab half a dozen of them for her to enjoy. In addition to regular glazed French crullers, they also have maple, chocolate, and strawberry glazed. Their other doughnut options are stellar as well. They often have samples too! Came in for my son's 4th birthday today. We just loved to the area and we get donuts for our birthdays so we were excited to try the place out since the reviews were good. Sadly it was not a great experience. We weren't greeted when we came in. No one was smiling. Best donuts shop in Cave Creek if not the whole valley. We stopped just to take a peek at this new shop but couldn't resist getting a few donuts. It was very late in the day but they still had wide selection to choose from. Two ladies working the counter were very friendly and helpful as well. The best part was the tasty donuts. We had sample of all of the ones we picked and it was so yummy. Ones that stood out was the chocolate donut with chocolate frosting and one with nuts. Lemon filled glazed one was close second. Hands down the best donuts in town--possibly the best I've ever had. I frequent Glaze often, which says a lot because I've never really been a big donut person... until now. We first visited on just our second day living in Cave Creek, and Scott (the owner) and his son Shaun made us feel instantly welcome. Our movers showed up at 5:30 a.m., so we were incredibly grateful they were open because we desperately needed coffee. The Kona is fantastic, and Scott even shared a pro tip: add Coconut Crème to the blueberry-flavored coffee--absolute masterpiece. I only wish the pumpkin spice donuts were available year-round because they're dangerously addictive. We stopped in again today on New Year's Day and ended up hanging out for a couple of hours--such a great, relaxed place to chill. read more

The exuberant reviews of Glaze Donuts are not without basis. After intending to for many months, I finally popped in here for four doughnuts to sample and an iced coffee to try. For my wife and me, I picked up two blueberry cake doughnuts, an old fashioned, and a Boston creme. They were amazing even though purchased near closing time on a Sunday--soft, delicious, and not the least bit stale. I was surprised at the ample selection of varieties to choose from despite the hour. The iced coffee, which I ordered with light ice, half-and-half, and cane syrup, was quite good. I inquired, and the brand is Gaviña. Several pump containers of hot coffee of different flavors were on a counter across from the doughnut case. The best part? All of this deliciousness--four doughnuts and an iced coffee--set me back just over $10. Not only won't you get that most places, but you certainly won't get this level of quality for that price most places. The interior isn't huge, but it has ample places to sit and relax, though I think the lighting could be a bit more inviting. I highly recommend you stop in and give Glaze Donuts a try the next time you want to satisfy your sweet tooth with something decent without breaking the bank. read more

Christmas morning we were faced with more family visitors than expected. Scrambling for additional breakfast sweets I called Glaze to see if they were open and surprised that they were. A short drive to Glaze, I noticed the door sign stated 'closed' Christmas day, however, the electric 'Open' sign was illuminated. I selected cinnamon rolls and stepped around the display case filled with a wide assortment of donuts to pay at the cash register. A handwritten note was on top of the counter - "No credit, No cash". I asked how I could pay and was cheerfully told, "Merry Christmas, everything is our gift today to our customers". Although he said no tips either I had to show my appreciation and left one on the counter. This is a caring local business offering exceptional donuts at very fair prices and is well deserving of the support of our local community.
