Sweet Suzan's relocated to this new location very near where I live, so that's how I discovered it. Seeing the excellent reviews at their old location, my wife and I stopped in to give them a try. The friendly employees behind the counter will offer to let you sample anything you'd like to, and after a couple of tastes, we landed on four different flavors on two different visits. Every one of them was among the most delicious gelato flavors we've ever had: cherry mascarpone, mint chip, peanut butter stracciatella, and pistachio. Just wow. The flavor was rich, natural, and perfectly sweet, while the texture was just as good. The pricing is pretty good, too, and it really makes sense to go large here, with the additional cost for a larger size not being that much more. They also offer some excellent-looking pastries, all made in house. They have an espresso menu, too, with the beans coming from the Roastery of Cave Creek. They sell canned and bottled beverages from a cooler in the corner. The ambience is similar to the previous ice cream shop that occupied this space. It's small, but there are still ample places to sit, and everything is kept cool and clean, light and bright. I highly recommend stopping in for a taste spoon. You might just get hooked. :)

This is such a cute new spot in Cave Creek! They have a lot of gelato to choose from and coffee options. The owner was friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I have enjoyed a good crepe here and there at several different restaurants both in the…read morePhoenix area and out of the area over the years. We have been meaning to try Sweet Paris for quite some time, though we never managed to make it there...until recently. We enjoyed the overall experience, the ambiance of the restaurant, the service, the food itself, and the promotions via the app. We certainly look forward to returning again in the future. When we arrived on a Sunday evening, there were very few customers in the restaurant and no wait to go right up to the register to place an order. We both placed our orders. My wife ordered a Truffled Caprese savory crepe consisting of mozzarella, basil infused cherry tomatoes, and truffle oil. I ordered a seasonal savory crepe in the Chicken Piccata consisting of grilled chicken, mozzarella, capers, parsley, and a bright lemon butter sauce. Both were served with a fresh side salad. We both tried each other's crepes and thought both crepes were absolutely delicious! The meal was topped off with great service as the manager and serving staff took turns checking on us over and over throughout the meal. The seating was plentiful with many options of where to sit. There was also a parking structure right near the restaurant. Sweet Paris is a French creperie and cafe in Scottsdale. The restaurant showcases elegant chandeliers, a chic Parisian interior, and the aroma of freshly made crepes from their open kitchen. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. This location is open from 8 AM to 8 PM from Sunday through Thursday and then from 8 AM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. They serve sweet crepes, savory crepes, kids crepes, croffles, waffles, fresh bowls, breakfast crepes and eggs, soups, salads, paninis, hot drinks, milkshakes, signature drinks, and more. Visit their website at https://www.sweetparis.com to order online, view locations, to see the menu, to cater for a special event. Download the app and join the reward program to order ahead of pickup, collect whisks for rewards, get the inside scoop, and get a special birthday bonus. I had been saving my rewards for some time and ended up with two free crepes (one being for my recent birthday). I found you could make two orders to use two free crepe rewards. I certainly enjoyed this experience and will be back. I recommend it to anyone enjoying Parisian food, especially crepes. While the price is higher than I would have expected, it is easy to earn a rewards to offset the cost.

I stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. Free parking can be found in the parking garage, but since it's the mall, expect it to be pretty busy on the weekends. Ambiance (4/5): Sweet Paris gives off a welcoming cafe feel. Clean, modern, with white being the dominant color. Most of the seating is inside, with a few tables outside out front. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Friendly, efficient service. The manager went above and beyond by bringing me some water without me asking. Drinks (4/5): I had the Saint-Tropez frozen Mimosa which sounds like a vibe. It was with a nice mini umbrella and strawberry as a garnish. The cocktail was a little sweet for my taste, but solid. Food (3/5): I went with their limited time special: the chicken picatta savory crepe. Chicken picatta is one of my favorite Italian dishes so I couldn't say no. The crepe version was pretty solid. The crepe was filled with chunks of grilled chicken and mushrooms. Lemon caper sauce on top. Outside of savory crepes, they also have sweet crepes, waffles, and more. Crepes are served with a small side salad. My crepe was pretty good, but here's my gripe with Sweet Paris... portion sizes. I feel like Sweet Paris' target demographic are females, which if true, the portion sizes are okay. If you're a grown man, it's not going to be filling. Maybe if there were heartier sides than a small salad? You can always order two crepes, but that's going to cost you $30+.

I stood at the front for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged, and when I was, I was just told to "sit anywhere." After sitting down, I wasn't given menus and ended up having to go get them myself. Another 5 minutes passed before a server came over. When I asked about the specials that were advertised online, I was initially told there were no specials at all. Then she said, "oh, like happy hour?" which just felt dismissive and rude. We came specifically because of the Taco Tuesday and happy hour deals listed online (which even showed a date of April 7), but none of that was honored, she said that those specials were for the RODEO only. By the time my husband and daughter arrived, we realized there weren't even tacos included on the happy hour menu, which made the whole experience feel even more misleading. Between the lack of organization, slow service, and not honoring clearly advertised specials, the experience just didn't match expectations. It's frustrating to choose a place based on what's promoted and then have a completely different experience when you arrive.

Clayton and Dre are darling! Truly wonderful customer…read moreservice here! I got the Mediterranean bowl modified with goat cheese and chunky tomatoes. Loved it! The champagne dressing was a little bit more vinegar than I expected so I might try a different dressing next time, but loved the salad itself. Would love if it came with a side of bread or croutons as well. Also appreciate that they have nonalcoholic bubbly, so I'll definitely have to try that next time and go back. Love all the couches and the live music on Saturday morning.

The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.
