Wow how the mighty have fallen. I had a bunch of gift cards that we received over the years and decided to put them to use. It's been a while since we hit BR and some morphed into Dunkin'/BR locations. Ice Cream: Ordered a small shake and a single scoop. Total was about $16 for both, which is nuts. I would have been "ok" with the cost if the quality was there: it wasn't. The shake was basically colored milk, so the ice cream to milk ratio was WAY off. The single scoop was fine, but no better than most store bought brands. Overall: Service was good, the place is small and no outdoor seating. Will not be coming back. read more

Baskin Robbins are generally fairly standard. They do make my favorite ice cream cake. I came here twice for ice cream cakes. Once I picked one up spur of the moment. They weren't able to personalize it because the one person who could write on the cake wasn't there. Sad, but it was for a cat's 17th birthday. Then, I ordered one online in advance for a person the next week. They had it ready as promised. That worked out well. As for the ice cream. There is much better ice cream other places, but I do really like a couple of their flavors -- World Class Chocolate has been a favorite of mine for years. This is a great Baskin-Robbins location. Very clean with both inside and outside seating. Never too crowded. The staff always works with efficiency. This location has an odd setup which I did not like. If someone is sitting at the tables, you cannot really get a good look at all the flavors. It's a bit cramped and awkward. Besides that, it is the usual baskin Robbins experience. The two new flavors they had were not to my liking, so I stuck with the PB and chocolate. I have been going to Baskin Robbins since I was a kid. Ice cream is the same as I remember as a kid. Not great but good ice cream to relieve that craving. I also like their ice cream cakes. This place has always had high school students run this place and I have never had any issues with the service. Seems like they're quick and friendly. I love Baskin-Robbins. Maybe it's because I grew up on it, but their ice cream seems to make a bad day good and a good day even better. Anytime I go in with the kids they have the best time as well. The staff is very friendly and they are always eager to discuss the different flavors and let you sample them as well. Very disappointed with the cake we got for my daughter's birthday. Ordered a Frozen Cake and showed up and got the frozen toppers on a plain cake? When I picked it up, they had all sort of excuses, and only discounted the charge for the toppers? These weren't even the toppers from the picture from the cake online. The lady whom I assumed was the owner, said they should've said this when I ordered it. ( I'm fairly certain from the ascent it was her who I ordered it from.) On the day of the party what is a parent to do? Race around to find another cake or leave with this? I was EXTREMELY disappointed on how she only cared about the next customers in line and didn't make more of an effort. Only spent a small fortune at Party City on colors to match the cake I thought I was getting. If you want to stress out more than you need to trying to make your child's party memorable and perfect give them a shot. I on the other hand will never choose this location again. read more

Broken freezers, Ice Cream NOT reordered on a consistant basis, out of the "basic" Baskin Robbins normal flavors, they consider MINT CHIP a "Flavor Of The Month" so they are out of it a lot, no regular pink plastic spoons so they give LONG float or sundae spoons, and today they gave "Safeway" plastic spoons!! Here's a great idea to the owner. It doesn't seem like you really want to own a Baskin Robbins Franchise so either CLOSE the store or sell it to someone who wants the store and can manage and operate the store!! If you worked for me, you wouldn't as you'd be FIRED!! The last MULTIPLE TIMES my son stopped in to pickup BR for us they have NO PINK BASKIN ROBBINS SPOONS!! They give us Safeway spoons!! WTF!! Sad to say I have had two disappointing encounters with this location. The first one, Wednesday night I went in to get ice cream, I went in around 9:20pm and I looked up online prior to going in, to find out they are open until 10pm. When I walked in, the gentleman working gave me the feeling that I was inconveniencing him and making him stay after closing. I asked for a sample of the flavor of the month. After getting the sample, I immediately gave my order. Then I paid and asked for a lid, the gentleman just threw the lid at me and walked away. So I left the store at not even 9:30pm. The second encounter I feel was not fully the stores fault. Last night, I decided to go by for ice cream again, when I walked in, I saw there was a large family of about 8 or so, when I walked in, I decided to walk to the end of their line of display cases and I even maneuvered around tables and members of the group trying to get to the end of the line and be out of the way. The family had a child with them and he felt the need to get into the exact spot I was standing in and he felt the need to pace and back and fourth making me feel like I was in his way. I stood there waiting for five minutes for this group to order before the employees noticed I was standing there. When I was finally acknowledged the group was still not done ordering. After waiting a few more minutes, it was finally my turn, the party ahead of me had an older gentleman standing in the middle of the walkway where, I again had to maneuver around and I felt that he was watching and listening to what I was doing. Then I finally get my order, this time the person helping me asked if this was for here or to go and she gave me a lid with a bag. When I was paying for my ice cream, the gentleman in the other party felt the need to stand and watch me pay with my card, it really gave me an uneasy feeling. Busy right after school which is to be expected...Wasn't very clean which is disappointing, especially for an ice cream parlor. We stopped in to try the new soft serve ice cream with sprinkles that turn the ice cream a new color. Don't know if the boy behind the counter was stingy or what, but the kids got only a couple of sprinkles that didn't even cover the ice cream which was disappointing considering they charge for them. What can you say about Baskin Robbins? I mean they carry my two favorite all time favorites, Jamoca Almond fudge and Rocky Road. Depending on my mood determines which flavor I get. Sometimes if I can't chose I just get both. This is one of the rare locations that offer $1 scoop Tuesday and buy one get one free sundaes on Wednesdays. The staff are usually high school students that remind me of when my friends worked at Baskin Robbins in Waukegan way back in the day. Wow,, such a long time ago. When we went in, there was only one young girl behind the counter who was swamped and no one came out to help her so the cake decorator came from the back and helped her out. This location is close to my office building and I accidentally started a tradition of making Baskin Robbins runs with several orders. Every time I've gone, I have come in with multiple types of payments and I have to ring some separately in order to keep track of everything. I've had the same woman every time I've come in and she is so friendly and patient with me (even if she is secretly curses me under her breathe lol). She doesn't mind doing the separate orders and always puts the containers back in the freezer so they don't melt. Even with people in line behind me, she is never flustered. With Arizona being so dang on hot, finding this place was like finding a slice of heaven! Oh and to add to it, the service was AWESOME!

We arrived 45 minutes before closing a party of 9 and the chairs were stacked for closing and we were told that he was he only one working and that we could not take the chairs down to sit leaving a few chairs up front or outside in 100 degree weather. Closing at 10 doesn't mean you start cleaning up for closing at 9pm. We took our business to menchies instead! I Would never go back to this location. Bad business tactics. read more

Horrible customer service attitude....we walked out! We are vacationing (with my sister + kids) and showed up 45 minutes before closing with our little kids who had been promised ice cream for being good. A couple also followed us in. Our five kids we excited and were picking their flavors but all the chairs had been placed up & there was no where to sit. I took down two chairs so my four year old could sit down. The only employee, young white kid with dark hair, said....whoa you can't talk those chairs down I just put them up. I told him there was no where to sit and he insisted I not put down the chairs because he was closing soon. I told him my little kids needed somewhere to sit while they ate their ice cream. He again told me he didn't want me taking down the chairs because be was closing soon making us all feel very uncomfortable. I told him it was only 9:15 pm and it was 45 mins before he closed. He told Me he knew. I told him we would all leave then and we walked out!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE! For an ice cream place, this was just right. The person at the counter knew the product and knew the questions to ask to serve us right. The scoops were large enough. There have been several complaining reviews but none seem to apply now. The place is clean. There was a wide variety of ice cream and other product. The server was attentive and prompt. I love this Baskin Robbins. They have great deals like a discount on ice scoops on Tuesday nights and a buy one get one free Sunday night on Wednesdays. Plus the nice young kid working there also let me know that on week days, they have an after school special on half priced kid sized scoops till 5pm. I've made this my place to hangout with friends and enjoy some good ice cream. The staff is very friendly and I always leave happy & satisfied.
