Bruster's Real Ice Cream was such a good experience. I got two scoops in a waffle cone Cookies & Cream and Butter Pecan and both flavors were delicious. The Cookies & Cream was creamy with plenty of cookie pieces, and the Butter Pecan was rich, buttery, and had a nice amount of pecans. The waffle cone was fresh and made it even better. The customer service was great too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we even signed up for their rewards program while we were there, so we'll definitely be back. My boys had a school fundraiser at brusters ice cream in the evening, so after dinner, we stopped by for dessert. I loved my chocolate chip coffee ice cream. My boys ordered cotton candy explosion and cookies and cream made with oreos. Yummy. I think it's awesome that they offer non dairy ice cream made with oat milk and a no sugar added- non fat ice cream. I'm intrigue to try them next time. I like that they have a drive thru in case your on the go. I saw that you can order online and pick up at their to go window as well, if you're just wanting to bring ice cream home. All of the employees at Brusters are wonderful & they all go far above & beyond to make sure that every visit is pleasant. We frequent many restaurants, sandwich shops, & other businesses, and Brusters really is a cut above. Another local business we often frequent is a sandwich shop, and the contrast between that place and Bruster's is staggering. Even though we enjoy the food there, 2-3 employees have made us not even want to return there for sandwiches anymore. Bruster's Real Ice Cream seriously has some of the creamiest ice cream. We had been to this location when it first opened but hadn't been back in a while, and now I'm wondering why we waited so long. One thing we love is that they have a drive-through option, so convenient, especially on busy school nights. And the flavor selection? So many to choose from! My daughter picked a scoop of chocolate raspberry truffle and a scoop of cherry vanilla. My son went with cotton candy explosion and loved the pop rocks mixed in. I am back today to leave YET ANOTHER review for........NOTHING SHORT OF STELLAR SERVICE FROM TWO INDIVIDUALS IN PARTICULAR! After last visiting Bruster's and having the pleasure of meeting Hannah the manager that exceeded not only our expectations, but gave us every reason to continue coming back, we had the pleasure of meeting both Presely and Joel! On this particular occasion, we placed an online order, and one of the items didn't have an option to remove whipped cream/cheery, and so we made a call to Bruster's to see if they would accommodate our preferences, to which we interacted with Joel; we could not have been greeted on the phone by a kinder gentleman that not only acknowledged our request, but went above and beyond to make sure that the ice cream was prepared correctly for when we picked it up. Upon picking up said-ice cream, we met Presely, would again, couldn't not have been a nicer human! We asked if Hannah was working that evening, as we made clear from the initial review that food rarely keeps customers coming back, but rather the people do, and we found out Hannah was not in that evening, but Presley was just as engaging, attentive and kind as Hannah! She took the time to ask about our dogs, make sure our ice cream was prepared correctly (Joel even came over to introduce himself and say "hi") and I honestly can't rave enough about how both Joel and Presley said Hannah was their favorite manager, which makes sense, given they all exude the same engaging, kind-hearted, attentive personality when you speak with any of the three. Hannah truly has cultivated an amazing team behind her when she's not in the store, and Joel and Presley are wonderful humans! Will definitely be coming back, as if we weren't already! I was working nearby this Bruster's Real Ice Cream place and said one day, I'll have to go!! That day came as I was leaving a few weeks ago and I went to the drive-thru. I saw New York Cheesecake on their menu and nothing else existed, lol!! I ordered a small cake cone and it came with 2 heaping scoops of the ice cream!! It definitely hit the spot because it was hot that day! I love cheesecake more than the little fat kid who loves chocolate cake, so I was a happy camper as I drove off. I don't like sugar cones, so I opted for the cake cone which I've loved since I was a kid. They even gave me a coupon to return, but I have not gone back since. My wife and I recently went to Bruster's for our first experience at the North Phoenix location (and my wife's first Bruster's experience ever). We went over a holiday weekend when it wasn't too busy after dinner on a Saturday evening. The staff were absolutely delightful and the ice cream was very tasty. In addition to the ice cream being delicious, the flavors were unique and the environment felt festive. Some of the creative flavors included Campfire S'Mores (graham cracker ice cream with marshmallow swirls, graham cracker ribbons, and chocolate chunks), Cotton Candy Explosion (cotton candy ice cream loaded with popping rock candy), and Triple Chocolate Made With Oreo (chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces and swirls of rich fudge). Definitely get some samples to try several of the unique flavors and then get your favorite. We noticed that the kid's scoop was one scoop while the small was two scoops, and the medium was three scoops. We thought that the small may be too large for the two of us independently though we ended up sharing a small together, and when we each got one scoop in a small cup, it felt like we got extra ice cream but in reality, the scoops are just that big! I got Coffee Chocolate Chip (coffee ie cream with rich chocolate flakes) while my wife got Double Fudge Brownie (chocolate ice cream with chunks of brownies and a fudge swirl). Clean, lots of white, with a decent amount of seating. Some people stay and others take it to go. I dined in. I asked if they had free WiFi. Unfortunately, they don't. Service (4/5): Friendly service with a smile. Like most ice cream spots, you can try samples if you ask. You pay at the counter, and then they will scoop your ice cream for you quickly. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3.5/5): Bruster's offers 16 or so flavors, so there's a nice selection. Including a few creative selections. They had a seasonal, limited-time offer, which is what I ended up going with: apple ice cream with shortbread bites and caramel swirl. You can get your ice cream in a cone or a cup---I ended up going with a cone. As you would expect, there are several different sizes. Outside of that, they have pints to-go, banana splits, and several other options. Your typical ice cream shop offerings. This was my first time having apple ice cream and it was delicious. The shortbread bites, on the other hand, were underwhelming. They were too hard to the point that they took away from the ice cream. I would have preferred it without the bites at all. We went after dinner and there were lots of families. Employees are very friendly and service is quick. I did notice that a few tables were a little dirty with crumbs, but to be expected. Let me tell you this is the BEST ice cream I've had in forever and my mom said it's probably the best ice cream she's ever had. I like Bruster's. My only complaint is the flavors I want to try and always out. Sidenote, I've been here twice, so my always isn't a long time. I really aprreciate the team at Bruster's. Got a confirmation text " typical processing time is 15 min but could be more if the store is busy". It was 3/23 at 5:54pm. We waited until 6:30pm to go pick up our order. Arrive, not super busy inside or in the drive through. A nice friendly team member asked if she could help, told her I had a pick up order. She then could not find the order and looked around for it only to find it was never prepared. She then began preparing it by herself with 2 others just watching her. ZERO sense of urgency. Got our ice cream (3 orders) by 6:43pm. So almost an hour later. Ok so I liked the ice cream so much, fast forward to 3/27 we decided to try again and assume it was just an off night. Thursday I ordered AGAIN directly from their site. I waited 25 min, then drove over.....GUESS WHAT???? Literally EXACTLY the same thing from the time before!!!! Why allow online ordering if your team doesn't pay attention to it! And by the way, they were not short staffed either time I went. Each time there were 4-5 employees and a MANAGER.
