We stopped by Bruster's for my daughter's middle school fundraiser, and it was such a sweet surprise, we forgot just how good their ice cream is! Bruster's Real Ice Cream seriously has some of the creamiest ice cream. We had been to this location when it first opened but hadn't been back in a while, and now I'm wondering why we waited so long. One thing we love is that they have a drive-through option, so convenient, especially on busy school nights. And the flavor selection? So many to choose from! My daughter picked a scoop of chocolate raspberry truffle and a scoop of cherry vanilla. My son went with cotton candy explosion and loved the pop rocks mixed in. He thought that was the coolest part. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed to support a good cause and treat ourselves. We will definitely be back again soon! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream Fudge Ripple No Sugar Ice Cream is one of the better no sugar ice creams that i have had, not much difference in flavor and as a diabetic, it is nice to still have some treats to enjoy. Pistachio Ice Cream is always my go to flavor growing up as a child, whether from Thrifty Ice Cream or Baskin Robbins, Bruster's adds to the folklore. All ice cream comes from the freezers hand scooped from the many people servicing customers like old style. They are quick and courteous. I was working nearby this Bruster's Real Ice Cream place and said one day, I'll have to go!! That day came as I was leaving a few weeks ago and I went to the drive-thru. I saw New York Cheesecake on their menu and nothing else existed, lol!! I ordered a small cake cone and it came with 2 heaping scoops of the ice cream!! It definitely hit the spot because it was hot that day! I love cheesecake more than the little fat kid who loves chocolate cake, so I was a happy camper as I drove off. I don't like sugar cones, so I opted for the cake cone which I've loved since I was a kid. They even gave me a coupon to return, but I have not gone back since. Good thing it expires at the end of the year! Service was fast and friendly and I'll be a repeat customer for sure. I can't wait to go back for more! read more

My wife and I recently went to Bruster's for our first experience at the North Phoenix location (and my wife's first Bruster's experience ever). We went over a holiday weekend when it wasn't too busy after dinner on a Saturday evening. The staff were absolutely delightful and the ice cream was very tasty. In addition to the ice cream being delicious, the flavors were unique and the environment felt festive. Some of the creative flavors included Campfire S'Mores (graham cracker ice cream with marshmallow swirls, graham cracker ribbons, and chocolate chunks), Cotton Candy Explosion (cotton candy ice cream loaded with popping rock candy), and Triple Chocolate Made With Oreo (chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces and swirls of rich fudge). Definitely get some samples to try several of the unique flavors and then get your favorite. We noticed that the kid's scoop was one scoop while the small was two scoops, and the medium was three scoops. We thought that the small may be too large for the two of us independently though we ended up sharing a small together, and when we each got one scoop in a small cup, it felt like we got extra ice cream but in reality, the scoops are just that big! I got Coffee Chocolate Chip (coffee ie cream with rich chocolate flakes) while my wife got Double Fudge Brownie (chocolate ice cream with chunks of brownies and a fudge swirl). After taking a walk in the park in the area, I was looking for a treat, so I hopped on the trusty Yelp app. Bruster's Real Ice Cream was close by so I made my way over. Located in a shopping center that they share with several other businesses, parking wasn't an issue. They also have a drive-through. Ambiance (4/5): Pretty much your typical ice cream shop. Clean, lots of white, with a decent amount of seating. Some people stay and others take it to go. I dined in. I asked if they had free WiFi. Unfortunately, they don't. Service (4/5): Friendly service with a smile. Like most ice cream spots, you can try samples if you ask. You pay at the counter, and then they will scoop your ice cream for you quickly. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3.5/5): Bruster's offers 16 or so flavors, so there's a nice selection. Including a few creative selections. They had a seasonal, limited-time offer, which is what I ended up going with: apple ice cream with shortbread bites and caramel swirl. You can get your ice cream in a cone or a cup---I ended up going with a cone. As you would expect, there are several different sizes. Outside of that, they have pints to-go, banana splits, and several other options. Your typical ice cream shop offerings. This was my first time having apple ice cream and it was delicious. The shortbread bites, on the other hand, were underwhelming. They were too hard to the point that they took away from the ice cream. I would have preferred it without the bites at all. Pretty standard ice cream place. Tons of flavor options and they let you sample them. I tried the ube flavor which was good but a little on the sweeter side. The tiramisu flavor was really good. We went after dinner and there were lots of families. Employees are very friendly and service is quick. I did notice that a few tables were a little dirty with crumbs, but to be expected. The place has a drive-thru and indoor seating but they keep the big garage-style door open even in the summer. read more

We stopped in for their grand opening and were greeted warmly by everyone we encountered. I tried some samples and everything was tasty. Ultimately we got waffle cones with three scoops each. Let me tell you this is the BEST ice cream I've had in forever and my mom said it's probably the best ice cream she's ever had. It's very flavorful, the flavor items are packed in, and it's very competitively priced. There are over 40 flavors to choose from with dairy free and even some vegan options. The place is brightly lit and was very clean despite how busy they were. We'll definitely be back! read more

Great ice cream find. Looking for a place to meet everyone's diets, we found this local ice cream shop. My vegan husband enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter ice cream and appreciated there were multiple options in vegan hard scoop (vs only soft serve) flavors. 3 stars because the ice cream is really good but the service inside leaves a lot to be fixed to get it right.... We ordered 3 turtle Sundae's and a cone. ALL 3 sundaes were completely wrong, on top of it the girl making it crammed it into a tiny paper cup while the group next to us got huge sundaes in clear plastic "Sundae" cups. When I asked her why she did this she simply said "we can put them whatever bowl we want" really..???? I like Bruster's. My only complaint is the flavors I want to try and always out. Sidenote, I've been here twice, so my always isn't a long time. I really aprreciate the team at Bruster's. They are super friendly and seem happy! Its also really clean inside, which makes me feel better about eating here. The is a ton of flavors and they are all really good! Out of my two trips I have tried like, 14 flavors haha They all have been great! Except for the dairy-free one. Ew. Brusters is always a hit! Came here with my husband and infant son and it was super clean and the walls are cute! Service wasn't bad, I know they are still learning as it just opened! Only complaint was they poured caramel all over my husbands ice cream cup and didn't like try to clean it they just handed it to him like that. We love the Brusters in Glendale so we were excited to try this one. The ice cream is excellent and always good! Today the service was awful. Melanie took our order and she seemed so annoyed with us for wanting 4 scoops of ice cream for 4 people. The inside is also so tight that it is very challenging to move around and it's so congested and uncomfortable. We won't be back to this location. read more

We come here all the time but today had an out of the park amazing customer-service experience with a young man named Cooper. So first the good The ice cream is fabulous! Loved the variety of flavors. That's why they got 2 stars. The bad........service. So I live about 5 min away and we ordered directly from their website. Got a confirmation text " typical processing time is 15 min but could be more if the store is busy". It was 3/23 at 5:54pm. We waited until 6:30pm to go pick up our order. Arrive, not super busy inside or in the drive through. A nice friendly team member asked if she could help, told her I had a pick up order. She then could not find the order and looked around for it only to find it was never prepared. She then began preparing it by herself with 2 others just watching her. ZERO sense of urgency. Got our ice cream (3 orders) by 6:43pm. So almost an hour later. Ok so I liked the ice cream so much, fast forward to 3/27 we decided to try again and assume it was just an off night. Thursday I ordered AGAIN directly from their site. I waited 25 min, then drove over.....GUESS WHAT???? Literally EXACTLY the same thing from the time before!!!! Why allow online ordering if your team doesn't pay attention to it! And by the way, they were not short staffed either time I went. Each time there were 4-5 employees and a MANAGER. So infuriating when the product is so great. I'm stick with Coldstone even though it is further to drive. read more

I ordered mint chocolate chip and rocky road and got mint chocolate chip and chocolate. Service was slow, but this location is new so I expected that. The ice cream was good, but I'm in no rush to wait it out again only to get the wrong order. Also, directional signs in the parking lot aren't great and the back side of that building needs to be lit up more so it feels safer and less creepy. read more
