Creamistry is hands down the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I almost wept when I found out the Gilbert location was closed and replaced with a crappy cookie shop. There is no ice cream with a better texture, flavor, or sweetness. Speculous overload is my recommendation if you are ever ordering there. My only critique is that they need more locations throughout the valley and beyond. If this place ever goes out of business, I will need to be checked into a facility. I'm love ice cream and having plenty of options so this is a great spot for that! You choose your base and flavor then any mix ins or toppings and they make! I usually get the vegan one but I got the dairy one this last visit with coconut flavor and hot fudge on top. It was free with a coupon they sent me for my birthday! This is by far the creamiest ice cream I've ever had. The young man who took my order was courteous and helped explain the menu options, and the space felt warm and inviting to hang out and enjoy ice cream right there. I ordered a pint of the salted caramel with brownie to take home, and they made it fresh on the spot. Extremely disappointing experience. It was 8:12 PM, and this location doesn't close until 9:00 PM, yet we were flat-out refused service because the employees claimed they were "short staffed." We were a group of 14 people, which apparently was enough for them to decide they simply didn't want to serve us. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with a manager, we were not allowed to do so. Instead, an employee handed us a phone number scribbled on a napkin, which turned out to be fake. That alone says everything about the level of professionalism and accountability at this place. If a business is open, customers should be served during posted hours. Turning people away nearly 50 minutes before closing, then brushing them off with a fake contact number, is completely unacceptable. There was no attempt to accommodate us, no explanation beyond excuses, and zero customer service. This was a frustrating and disrespectful experience. We will not be returning and would strongly advise others to avoid this location if they expect basic professionalism or honesty. read more

Decided to stop here after dinner the other day. I was beyond excited as I had no idea they offered dairy free options!!!! You are able to chose a signature creature or build your own but you are able to choose what dairy base, and they had coconut or cashew milk!!! Ugh my heart is so happy! Super disappointed with the service we received. We waited in line for over 30 minutes to get ice cream before closing time. Instead of informing the people in line that they would not be served so the staff could leave right at 9 PM, the employee waited until we reached the register at 8:55 PM to tell us they were no longer serving customers. What made it even more frustrating was that the employee quietly told the people in front of us that they would be the last ones served, rather than clearly informing the long line of customers waiting in the store. No wonder this place is always empty now. It used to be really good! Low quality items and very poor, untrained customer service. I went in last weekend and asked what was in the "dairy base"?. Cashier looked confused, so I said, "Well it must be more than cream since it is called 'dairy base'." "She rambled some dumb answer like "well its really good so I dont know but yeah cream and other things I dont really know...." OK, I rolled my eyes and ordered the ice cream sandwich. Customers oooo and aaaaah as their ice cream is being made. You can see clouds of liquid nitrogen getting sprayed on the ice cream, making the ice cream parlor look like a medical laboratory. The liquid nitrogen did make the ice cream noticeably creamier. I ordered "cookie butter" with hot fudge. It made me reminisce of the times I'd eat cookie butter from the jar on my couch in my underwear.
