I absolutely love Sweet Republic! I live closer to one of their other locations, but I was in the area of this one recently and decided to stop by for some delicious refreshing ice cream on a hot day. For this visit, I decided to go with some of their limited time flavors, a scoop of the banana cream pie and a scoop of the gooey butter cake. Both flavors were nicely creamy, not too sweet and really hit the spot! The family member I went with decided to get a scoop of the black sesame and she said she really enjoyed that too. Service was fast and friendly. This location is quite spacious with a good amount of seating options both inside and outside.
Our first time at this location is not disappointing. We went in on the weekend evening. The ice creams here are tasty. I really like their special limited time flavors. The colors of their ice cream are so pretty during the fall season. The pandan chiffon cake ice cream is so delicious. I wish I get a few more scoops of them.

It tastes like actual mint, and not like the typical mint chip. So, if you're a fan of real mint give it a taste Some tips: Consider taking your ice cream to go and walk a block or so to the heart of the downtown Scottsdale area. There are so many cool shops, bars, restaurants, etc Cheers!!
Who doesn't want ice cream in the heat of the desert? The crème brûlée ice cream was excellent and unique. I mixed it with the salted caramel and it was perfect for walking around the streets of old town after dinner.
Best ice cream!!! Unique scratch made with the best ingredients for the absolute best flavors!! Regular, gluten free and non dairy flavors. Homemade cones and decadent milk shakes. Pints to take home!! Limited edition flavors at times as well!! Friendliest staff!!
Sweet Republic never disappoints. They have carefully curated flavors you'd never think of. Their savory flavors like sweet corn are surprisingly tasty because they find the perfect balance, like a chef would curate a menu item at a fine restaurant. I was visiting downtown Scottsdale and was lucky enough to get the Dubai Chocolate and it was fire! I hadn't had anything Dubai chocolate up until that point and that ice cream was better than any Dubai chocolate that I've had since. There were chocolate chunks throughout that were different sizes which gave the ice cream the made by hand taste. They sprinkled crunchy shreds on top and it was the perfect treat...not a sundae, but tasted like one without overbearing syrups or toppings.
I stopped in this cute little ice cream shop while I was in the area waiting for a doctor's appointment. The shop was bright and pleasantly decorated with teal and orange accents. I love the Arizona mural on the wall leading to the restrooms. This business was very clean and the gentleman that waited on me was very friendly. As far as the ice cream goes, he offered me several different flavors to sample. I landed on the crème brûlée. I really enjoyed this ice cream because it wasn't overly sweet. It was very creamy and had a velvet texture on my tongue. They had several unique flavors and next time I hope to try the mango sticky rice. A nice little treat to walk to after a fulfilling dinner at Sizzle Kbbq a minute away. Was told this location has Blue Moon ice cream, famous flavor from the Midwest. I tried it and it was good! Has a fruit loop flavor to it. The worker will let you sample the ice cream. I chose the creme brulee and it was very creamy and filled with tiny crunchy honeycomb toffee bits. Very cool and interesting and very good. They let you choose to have the ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone. The inside is clean, has some tables for sitting inside and outside. They also have ice water for convenience. Overall a really good place for ice cream.
Try the sweet berry cobbler flavor, delicious! Highly recommend. They have some unique flavors, cute comfortable ambiance. Check it out if you're in old town and want a sweet cold treat!
Sweet Republic has landed in Old Town! Despite the rainy day, I was determined to make it out to finally catch the mango sticky rice ice cream before it left the rotation. It did not disappoint -- it's perfectly sweet with a soft, almost gelato-like texture. And I love the freshness the mango brings! I really loved the rich creme brulee, which has toffee bits mixed in to mimic the crunch of a classic brulee. It was also really nice to try other unique flavors like dill pickle, banana black sesame, and coffee and donuts (made with chicory coffee). All were great in their own way. The shop is clean and cute with easy-to-grab water cups. Can't wait to be back. Make sure to check out the hand-painted mural and find the 10 hidden ice cream cones!
Crème brûlée is to die for!! That's it. That's all you need to know! I got a scoop of Rocky road but like you can't mess that up. I also took a peek at a guys bananas foster (ice cream you dirty minds) and that looked delicious. I'll be back for that.

I love sweet republic! I got dinner nearby and was craving a sweet treat and realized I was just a block away. I've gone to the central location a bunch but this was my first time at the old town spot. It was pretty quiet and there's a bit more seating inside at this location which is nice. It's really bright and colorful inside. The current limited flavors include black sesame and ube which is incredible! I tried both and it was hard to pick but I went with a single scoop of black sesame as I never see that flavor anywhere. It was so creamy with a nutty, coconut flavor and not too sweet. The staff was very helpful. read more

Very yummy ice cream with lots of flavors. Came here after having dinner nearby. I like that you can try a few flavors before committing. I ended up getting a scoop and really enjoyed it. I would come back and have a sweet treat. read more
I'm not much an ice cream eater but if friends wanna go, I'll happily join if I can find something that won't entirely aggravate my lactose intolerant demons that live in my tummy. A friend suggested this place for an after dinner meet up and I took a look at their menu and they have a nice selection of non dairy options so I agreed. What caught my eye was the mango sticky rice and I love this Thai dessert and was pretty excited to try it. We met up here around 8pm and the place was pretty quiet. Lots of seating inside and some outside too. Staff very friendly here and I got to try the coconut sorbet (which was super yummy) and also the mango sticky rice. I chose the mango sticky rice and enjoyed this treat. Next time, I might get half coconut sorbet and half mango sticky rice as I absolutely love coconut! Fun place to check out and its located in a great part of Scottsdale! Would be fun to come back, grab a cup of ice cream and go walk about Old Town Scottsdale. We read in the paper that Sweet Republic was opening a store in Oldtown. We didn't realize it was only open for two days when we stopped by. We had the brownie sundae and a chocolate shake. Both delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful. They had no problem swapping one of the ice cream flavors in the sundae. While we were there they had about eight customers come in. It was nice getting in before everyone knows they are there. I'm sure it'll be packed in no time. We're happy to have one in our neighborhood! read more

I'm so excited there's a new ice cream shop in Old Town Scottsdale--and let me tell you, it's not your typical scoop shop. They've got the most unique and creative flavors I've ever tasted. While I don't love every single one (some are definitely for the more adventurous crowd), I like most of them... maybe a little too much--my waistline can confirm! Andrew has helped me out a couple of times now, and he's fantastic. Super friendly, always smiling, and has a great knack for suggesting the perfect flavor combo. The whole team there is just as warm and welcoming. If you're in the area and looking for a fun treat, this place is absolutely worth a stop! read more

Absolutely love this place! Every flavor I've tried has been beyond delicious -- so creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. They have such a great variety that there's something for everyone. My kids love chocolate mint, blue moon (you have to try this - so unique!!), and mango sticky rice. The almond buttercrunch is me and my husband's fav! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the owners clearly put so much love and care into their shop. You can tell they're passionate about creating an amazing experience for their customers. It's become our go-to spot for a sweet treat, and I can't recommend it enough! read more
