This is the best gelato I have had in a while! We drove 20 minutes to get here and it was sooo worth it. There was a line to order when we arrived. We had to place our orders on the tablets first then we waited for our name to be called out. The employee who helped us out was VERY friendly and patient. He gave us a few samples until we decided what we wanted. I ordered one scoop of the strawberry dolce - it was smooth, creamy, and the strawberry flavor was delicious. My friend ordered the brownie chocolate and it too was good and rich. Service was excellent and the gelato was great. Will be back!

First visit to Allora Gelato and it did NOT disappoint. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, this gelateria is known for authentic handcrafted gelato made fresh daily using premium, locally sourced ingredients and traditional Italian methods. While my friends were sampling different flavors, I locked eyes with the Coconut Almond Crunch: chocolate chunks, crunchy almonds, and creamy coconut blended into the perfect tropical treat... and yes, that was THE one. Rich, smooth, and full of texture, such a great first experience. Definitely coming back to try more flavors (and those homemade waffle cones!).

My friend suggested we stop by Allora Gelato after lunch. She had their Mango Sticky Rice gelato on her last visit and loved it, so I was excited to try it. I've never been here before, but honestly, I never say no to gelato. It's a really small and cute gelato shop on Shea. Some of their flavors are seasonal, so unfortunately, the Mango Sticky Rice wasn't available this time. That was kind of a bummer because I really wanted to try it. The server was really nice and let us sample a few flavors before making our final decision, which I always appreciate. I ended up getting Matcha Green Tea and Dark Chocolate. The matcha was good, but the dark chocolate was my favorite, super rich, creamy, and very chocolatey. Definitely one of those desserts that makes you feel a little guilty, but totally worth it. It is a bit pricey though. One small scoop is about $7.50. But maybe that's a good thing; otherwise I'd probably be here all the time. Overall, it's a great spot for quality gelato, and I'd definitely come back, especially if that Mango Sticky Rice flavor comes back.

I think this is the best gelato I've had in Phoenix. THE HAZELNUT & ORANGE ZEST was my favorite flavor, just wow. Nothing else like it in AZ that I've had. Pistachio is amazing too. The texture of their gelato is so smooth and creamy. Place was packed on a Friday night so expect a wait. You order and pay on the tablet first to basically reserve a spot, adding your quantity of cups/scoops. You can watch and smell them making waffle cones while waiting. When you get to the front, you can get free samples and tell em what flavor you want. It's in a little plaza that has outdoor seating. A little pricey, $10 for a cup with 2 flavors, but seems to be worth the quality and good service.

Just wow. I am very picky about my gelato and ice cream, especially when it comes to the sweetness level, temperature, and texture (how icy or creamy it is). This is a top tier spot--the only comparable option for me is That's Amore Gelato way up North, and I can't say yet which is better. I had the pistachio and the hazelnut and orange zest, but every flavor I have sampled or had here has been insanely good, with top quality ingredients, and unique taste profiles. The staff here are some of the nicest people in the world, and I love how luxurious the atmosphere is inside the store. I will be a regular here.

This place goes CRAZY. When you enter you first order on the iPad th en you proceed to the counter to try flavors. The workers were patient and knowledgeable. They shared with me that their gelato contains 70% less sugar than normal gelato but I couldn't even tell. I had the pistachio and Argentinian churro and let me tell you the churro flavor lives in my mind rent free.

Wow, the gelato at this cute shop was so creamy and delicious! It was really busy and there was a long line on this Friday night. The staff said it's usually busy but not this much and it may be because of the warmer weather this weekend. There are two tablets inside that you place your order on and then you can try and pick the flavors at the counter. They had a good flavor selection. I tried bourbon salted caramel and a ricotta with fig. I went with a scoop of matcha green tea and the flavor was exquisite. There's no seating inside but there are a few tables on the patio.

From the moment we entered the gelato shop to leaving, we were treated so well. We got acknowledged when we walked in and the workers gave us a run down of how the shop operates. We were able to taste all the flavors we wanted. The workers were so friendly and patient as we had never been there. I had the hardest time deciding on flavors but ended up getting strawberry dolce. My husband got the coconut almond crunch. I loved them both but give a slight nod to the coconut.

Gelato is called gelato and not ice cream for a reason -- and Allora Gelato makes that clear without having to say it aloud. Their gelato has an incredibly smooth texture and perfectly balanced sweetness. We tried the mango sticky rice and chocolate brownie flavors, and surprisingly, neither was too sweet not even the chocolate brownie! I'll definitely come back to try more flavors. The shop itself is super cute, with plenty of parking and outdoor seating.

Allora Gelato was an interesting experience. The wait was long and ordering was confusing. I appreciate the authenticity of the gelato but the gelato itself lacked flavor. It was almost sour and make me fearful it was spoiled. It's a very cute spot and definitely has an authentic feel, so I would be curious to go back.

I ordered salted Sicilian Pistachio and mango sticky rice in a waffle cone. Before, I also sampled hazelnut with orange zest and bourbon salted caramel. This is highest quality creamy gelato using high quality ingredients. Fresh waffle cone is must get too. If I lived in Phoenix, I would work my way through the whole menu. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The best gelato around! Service was great and the gelato was delicious. The inside was clean and well decorated. There are a few tables outside.

One of the best gelato places in Scottsdale! I loved their modern and stylish interior. Also their menu is so unique and I tried different flavors, they were all so good. People are friendly as well. It is pretty pricey but it was so yummy. I'd definitely com back!

If you're craving gelato and you're in the Scottsdale area you should definitely swing by Pussycat…read moreGelato. Their artisanal gelato is 100% natural (no preservatives), homemade, and is considered "true gelato" Their vibe is a little interesting. The ambiance isn't that of a typical Italian coffee shop. Their logo is basically a pussycat doll and there's western film posters on the wall (maybe spaghetti westerns is a tie-in). But there's plenty of seating inside and out The staff were efficient. You can taste the flavors before purchase, and they'll have you in and out in no time There's dozens of homemade flavors to choose from. You can get multiple scoops, single, in a cup, cone, etc. Each order comes with a tartlet homemade Nila wafer as a "tasteful" garnish (pun intended) Everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back someday Some tips: If you're a sorbet person, you're in luck. They have a variety of sorbets to choose from. These are vegan and gluten free options as well Definitely taste test before making your purchase. All the flavors are delicious, but you have the opportunity to taste multiple delicious flavors before making your decision There's a few locations. So, if you're in the Scottsdale, Bisbee, or Sedona areas check them out Cheers!!

It was a poor attempt at gelato. The flavor wasn't pronounced and the texture wasn't creamy. There are better places in Scottsdale. "Eat Like Italiano at Marcellino"…read more Marcellino Ristorante in Scottsdale is one of those places that's clearly popular for a reason. There was a long wait when we arrived but the staff made it pleasant by bringing out free bruschetta while we waited, which was a nice touch. The ambiance is very Italian--warm, charming, and inviting. They also have outdoor seating, which adds to the whole experience. There was live music that night, and it really set the mood without being overwhelming. I tried two of their non-alcoholic drinks: the rosemary mint lemonade and the hibiscus mango--both refreshing and thoughtfully made. My husband went with a lager beer, which paired well with the food. When we ordered, we were asked if we wanted to try their homemade pasta, and once we heard they have squid ink pasta, my husband didn't hesitate. We ordered it, and wow--it was amazing. The pasta was deeply flavorful, loaded with seafood, and served with lobster meat on the side, which took it to another level. We also ordered the Filetto di Malale--pork tenderloin sautéed with tender asparagus and green peppercorns, finished with a bourbon flambé. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. For dessert, we had the flaming panna cotta, which was both fun to watch and deliciously sweet. We were also happy to meet the owner-chef, Marcellino Verzino, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this place is absolutely worth visiting if you're looking for authentic Italian dishes here in Arizona. Definitely a spot we would return to.

One of the best truly authentic Italian restaurants we have visited. I highly recommend!read more
