Toasted Almond
Kelly C.

Yum!! I ordered the toasted almond, hubs ordered the Lotus cookie gelato. I'm really glad we came. I had no idea gelato was way healthier than regular ice cream. Now that I know, I'll definitely come back whenever I am here. We were offered tastes if we needed one. Which I appreciated. The staff were friendly. The inside had a nice flow. There was a steady stream of patrons coming in as we ate. We sat inside to finish our scoops. Overall, a great experience.

Caramel peanut goodness with some chocolate

Yum yum!! I had a peanut caramel gelato... I wish I could remember the name but apparently it was voted the best gelato (by who? Unsure). I've had better for sure but this really was quite tasty - great crunchy pieces of peanut and some chocolate, nicer sweet and salty balance. The small cup is pretty large (they really pack the gelato in there) and you can only get one flavor. It was over $6... not the cheapest but it is rich and tasty gelato. This new location has a few tables inside and a few more outside - pretty empty on a Wednesday night at 7:30. Clean, nice staff. The bathroom was sooo cold though

Love this franchise but decided to leave a good review because of the staff! They were very patient, especially when I asked for probably too many samples of gelato. They also came back outside to offer us water. Love all the gelato flavors and there is something for everyone! We got the cheesecake gelato as well as the salted caramel gelato. It is a cute, little sweet treat stop in Paradise Valley. We got a BOGO deal, but not sure if I would come here regularly, as a small ice cream is ~$6 - although to be fair, they definitely pack it to the top!

What a treat to celebrate Memorial Day and the end of the school year at Frost! Cole was awesome. We have been visiting Frost since their opening day at Biltmore Fashion Park. I was thinking before this visit..."I wonder who or how do you ever get a yummy topping in your dessert. They are all over thr top of the display, but where do they go. I was going to ask today. Both our girls wanted mint chocolate chip along with another flavor. They each were given a Andes mint on top. I suppose it is just thr luck of the spoon. The staff working was awesome. We loved our treats as always. Simple ingredients, and we never have a bad reaction.

Frost Gelato has three locations in the Greater Phoenix area (one at the Biltmore Fashion Park, one at San Tan Village, and the other at the Scottsdale Kierland). According to their website, a new location will be opening up in North Phoenix at the PV (previous home to the Paradise Valley Mall) in Fall 2024. They are a bit behind and should be opening up soon. They also have locations in other states. Yesterday, my wife and I recently went to the Frost Gelato in Scottsdale, and we enjoyed sharing some gelato and one of their Frost Bites. We shared some Crema di Biscotti gelato (similar to cookies and cream) and also shared a chocolate Frost Bite (Gelato Bites Dipped in Chocolate). There were two other flavors, and they sell them individually, in a Piccolo package (of 8), or a Grande package (of 12). Other menu items include gelato, sorbet, cakes, coffee, and drinks. We were also offered a small paper cup of water when we were eating onsite. The staff were friendly and answered questions though they rang us up wrong but were quick to fix it. There is some indoor seating and then more seating outside. While there is no birthday club, they do provide a special birthday treat for those celebrating a birthday (on or around their birthday). While they used to offer a free small cup of gelato (and some of the locations in the area still do), now they offer a free Frost Bite (chocolate truffle of one of several flavor options). Check out their detailed website complete with a Flavor Picker (https://www.frostgelato.com/flavor-picker). You can find their menu, catering options, and information about Frost Gelato, its master chef, and its history. I'm looking forward to their new location near Tatum and Cactus at the PV opening soon!

This is probably the third or fourth Frost Gelato location I've visited. Frost offers a consistently a clean bright atmosphere with a huge selection of gelato. The 2 staff members were courteous and generously offered tasting of various gelato flavors before purchasing. Always a great way to either start or end the day!!

The best Gelato I've tasted in the states. This hidden gem is located next to the Shake Shack in an upscale shopping center. (Kierland Shopping Center) So many flavors to choose from! The gal behind the counter enticed us to sample a few flavors. We couldn't resist! They have dairy free options to choose from too which is a bonus for my daughter who is dairy free! I ended up getting two flavors in a cup that paired well together. I got Chocolate hazelnut and Sea Salt Caramel! Omg!! Tasted so creamy and delicious! Beware ... they really hand pack the gelato down making it a huge serving that you might not be able to finish! Very affordable prices and lovely seating outside to people watch. Definitely will be returning next time we visit Scottsdale!

Came tonight for the first time - walked across the street after dinner. First, the location is adorable. The way they have the gelato and sorbet displayed is beautiful and the smell when you walk in is delightful. The staff working were all very friendly, patient with my little guy who insisted on pressing his nose to the counter to look at all the flavors (sigh, ha!) we landed on a medium mix of Oreo and chocolate for my kiddo, a medium caramel for my husband, and I went w a small strawberry and champagne sorbet. All were delicious!! My favorite is probably the caramel gelato but I'll definitely be back to try other sorbets!!

Talk about in and out service! Fast, friendship, convenient. Did I mention that it fixed the sugar craving?! Parking can be a pain, but it's so worth the endless circling. I tried the cookies & cream and the mango!

Pistachio Gelato. Delicious! Love that we could taste before we bought. Service was good.

Gelato with ingredients from Italy?Ok, you have my attention. After hearing about Frost Gelato from a favorite Yelpie, I knew had to try while in Scottsdale. Well , service couldn't have been any better as they let us try several different samples till we settled on our choices . 1 taste and I realized why Gelato is so much better than ice cream for you since has to have more than 10% butterfat to be called ice cream. Well, Frost Gelato has 8% butterfat and 100% better taste. Choice: peach gelato that was light and fruity and not overly sweet . Pumpkin Gelato was a seasonal favorite that delicious and not overpowering. It would be perfect on a hot Arizona day. Even though we were lucky with the weather. Plenty of shopping in the area so parking can be tricky. Will return next time in Scottsdale and hope they bring more locations to Htown.

2nd time at this location in Scottsdale due to Yelp review recommendations. While on business in Scottsdale had to do a return visit at this gelato cafe . It was a short walk from the AC hotel where typically stay and surrounded by plenty of cool shops . The service was to be mentioned as they gave generous portions of 2 scoops of gelato. The chocolate chip mint was light and flavorful without the extra fat usually seen in traditional ice cream. The salted caramel was equally satisfying without the extra calories . Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the Scottsdale weather in November and inside for hotter summers when want to cool off.

Me and my friends were in town for a bachelor party and decided to stop by frost for dessert. They have soo many flavors that it was hard to choose. I got the toasted marshmallow and it was super creamy and delicious. If you're looking for great gelato look no further!

Last time I tried to go here a week ago I couldn't find it where is it located? walked around for half an hour.

It's right by Shake Shack kind of by where Teavana used to be.

Their artisanal gelato is 100% natural (no preservatives), homemade, and is considered "true gelato" Their vibe is a little interesting. The ambiance isn't that of a typical Italian coffee shop. Their logo is basically a pussycat doll and there's western film posters on the wall (maybe spaghetti westerns is a tie-in). But there's plenty of seating inside and out The staff were efficient. You can taste the flavors before purchase, and they'll have you in and out in no time There's dozens of homemade flavors to choose from. You can get multiple scoops, single, in a cup, cone, etc. Each order comes with a tartlet homemade Nila wafer as a "tasteful" garnish (pun intended) Everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back someday Some tips: If you're a sorbet person, you're in luck. They have a variety of sorbets to choose from. These are vegan and gluten free options as well Definitely taste test before making your purchase. All the flavors are delicious, but you have the opportunity to taste multiple delicious flavors before making your decision There's a few locations. So, if you're in the Scottsdale, Bisbee, or Sedona areas check them out Cheers!!

The gelato itself is heavenly. I mixed the bourbon salted caramel and chocolate brownie. The texture was smooth and the flavor transcendent. "Eat Like Italiano at Marcellino"…read more Marcellino Ristorante in Scottsdale is one of those places that's clearly popular for a reason. There was a long wait when we arrived but the staff made it pleasant by bringing out free bruschetta while we waited, which was a nice touch. The ambiance is very Italian--warm, charming, and inviting. They also have outdoor seating, which adds to the whole experience. There was live music that night, and it really set the mood without being overwhelming. I tried two of their non-alcoholic drinks: the rosemary mint lemonade and the hibiscus mango--both refreshing and thoughtfully made. My husband went with a lager beer, which paired well with the food. When we ordered, we were asked if we wanted to try their homemade pasta, and once we heard they have squid ink pasta, my husband didn't hesitate. We ordered it, and wow--it was amazing. The pasta was deeply flavorful, loaded with seafood, and served with lobster meat on the side, which took it to another level. We also ordered the Filetto di Malale--pork tenderloin sautéed with tender asparagus and green peppercorns, finished with a bourbon flambé. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. For dessert, we had the flaming panna cotta, which was both fun to watch and deliciously sweet. We were also happy to meet the owner-chef, Marcellino Verzino, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this place is absolutely worth visiting if you're looking for authentic Italian dishes here in Arizona. Definitely a spot we would return to.

One of the best truly authentic Italian restaurants we have visited. I highly recommend!read more
