Everything that's right and wrong with America! These ice cream smash donuts were delish! Everything went well. Nothing can go wrong here

Looking for a cool dessert in the hot Arizona sun, we stumbled upon Yonutz and ordered a Nutella crunch smash donut - a sliced glazed donut with a scoop of cookie dough ice cream on the inside, coated with Oreo cookie crumbles and a Nutella drizzle. Bracing my pancreas for a jolt, I savored every bite - cool ice cream and a soft, pillowy donut with a bit of Oreo crunch, it was a perfect, albeit high-calorie snack to set us off for the rest of the day. If you're looking for a unique sweet treat, give Yonutz a try!

Nie nie fixed my order for two days of mess ups when a young lady hang up a phone briskly the night before and my ice cream donut was severely melted she had a positive attitude was apologetic even when she was not the problem I loved that.

Our daughters & I stopped in for dessert after we had dinner in the area. We ordered off of our Uber eats and the service was very welcoming and fast. They were very busy as well, but we were able to get our orders within a few minutes of waiting. Our shakes was very thick presentation was great. Everything was good except for we did not care for the texture of the donuts not for sure what type of dough that is used, but we did not care for it unfortunately but we did love the shakes.

I'm not nuts, yonutz! I felt nutz after leaving here! Walked in on an afternoon because I finally decided I wanted to try Yonutz out. $9 for a nasty donut, handful of marshmallows and animal crackers. The service was okay, and nothing special about the interior either.

These are wayyyyyy too sweet and dense for our liking. We did an order through Too Good to Go, which saves wasted food. We likely got day old donuts which is expected, but only my daughter liked them and she picked the one with the most icing. I think this is likely a good spot for kids to pick some super sweet donuts, but not great for adults who prefer the more traditional donut.

Our experience was great. From the moment we walked in we to the moment we left the entire staff was attentive. It was our first time going so we weren't sure what to expect. They explained the menu, the various types of donuts and drinks and made sure we didn't have any question. My only complaint was the price was a bit more than I would have wanted to spend on donuts. However this isn't something we go to often and was a nice treat.

We were in town for vacation and wanted to do a treat after lunch and saw this. My kid immediately screamed " yes !! I know that youtuber. Can we go?!?!" I had no clue about Yonutz before going. I thought the regular donut ( chocolate frosted) was just ok. Seemed a notch above safeway. Husband thought the pb&j donut was delicious though. My son had a shake and cookies and cream yonut. He only had a few sips and bites as it was pretty filling and we went more for the experience. We got a couple donuts to go and had later that night. They kept ok. The sugar coated one tasted a bit odd. Maybe the premise is more that it needs lots of other ingredients though to be tasty? Parking was easy. The employee/younger kid working the counter gave off a could care less about customers vibe and his shirt had some bikini clad girl on it, which I guess if the vibe is for high school and older kids, it makes sense, but for a elementary age kiddo and family, the loud music + employee who didnt like to smile seemed to be too cool for us. Not sure if that's suppose to be the experience ? But it was definitely the opposite of cold stone. We were the only ones in there so maybe the music was purposely loud to try to keep people from staying inside to eat? So minus a star cause I didn't feel like we were welcomed to be there. My son was obviously stoked once we stepped in, and it took a minute to even get some help. I also had to swap out a chair cause it was covered in frosting or something. Seemed like floor and tables could all use some extra cleaning. Overall, it was "meh" but my son enjoyed it for ability to also brag to school friends he got to go, but doubt we'll go back if we're in town again.

1st seed in tournament- quick break before championship game! A little sugary fuel lol...

Came here between games for my sons tournament last month. It was pretty early and this location had just opened its doors. My son saw the place as we were driving, searching for a spot to grab some food between games and to waste some time.... I've never heard of the place but he and apparently my other two boys have as well. They've seen TikToc videos I guess or something g like it, and this kid has the biggest sweet tooth and if he gets the chance he wants ALL THE SUGAR! They kicked ass and won their game so I figured a sugary pick me up would be ok since he had enough time between games... usually we stay away from this sort of stuff during tournaments. But YOLO and it was the first time seeing this spot, so why not. He was thrilled- the young man working with here was cleaning when we walked in and greeted us and asked if we had been before and how it all worked- my son explained he had seen on social media but I wanted to know how it worked. :) He was kind, thoroughly helpful and made it extra special for my son- who was thrilled to be there!! This place made my son's day!! I'll be back with my other two boys as well. They were jealous they weren't with us to get a treat too. Excellent service, cute and colorful inside and clean, and what a fun treat to have once in a while. :). Way to separate yourselves from all the other donut shops in the valley and elsewhere. To top it off- my boy and his team went on to win their tournament division!! Woooo!! Maybe there is something special in these things. :). My boy was hyped out there on the field! Haha

    Kinder smashed

It was a cute donut shop, pretty clean. Workers were nice and patient even though my mini and are indecisive. Donuts: I got a "gourmet" donut. Regular donut filled with Dulce de leche. Saved that for the morning, microwaved for a few seconds and the donut was soft, filling a little warm. I had half of it, mini had the other half and it was great with coffee. Definitely would eat that again but if it was just for me I'd probably need the smaller size. The smashed donut: Kinder smashed: filled with vanilla ice cream and kinder bueno bar, with Nutella drizzled and topped with Oreo crumbs. Very messy. Delicious, but messy. Mini rated it 9/10 Nutella crunch smashed donut Filled with cookie dough ice cream, drizzled with Nutella. It was topped with crunchy pieces and Oreo. The nice thing is that the donut batter isn't so sweet that anything else added is overkill. It was fluffy and pretty tasty. Basically this place is like state fair treats without the awful parking and long lines. Would I be back? Probably, but not super soon simply bc it's not that close to me.

Too Good to Go surprise bag: half dozen assorted donuts
    Haneen O.

This business is listed on Too Good to Go, so I bought a surprise bag and stopped by one late morning. Plenty of parking and the place was empty when I arrived. The employee was friendly and got me my box of donuts that was already prepared and I was on my way. I got a half dozen donuts and tried a few at home. Unfortunately, they were just okay; some had cereal toppings which get stale quickly and the donuts were soft but some were getting dry. It could be that the donuts were from the previous day which would explain their condition. I see they have other menu items that may be better and that are freshly baked so my experience is different than a typical one. I'm glad I tried out this spot and commend them for contributing to less food waste!

I was waiting for Zia Records to open in this plaza when I noticed Lucky Donuts in the corner and I just had to come in and get a couple for breakfast. This shop is simple enough where you enter, see a ton of donuts, a case full of drinks, and some other random stuff, but mostly I'm just here for the donuts. The employee working was super freaking friendly and ended up giving me a free donut because I had to wait for literally one minute for her to come up, which is 100% absolutely not a problem at all, but it was super sweet of her anyway. I ended up ordering a glaze crawler and a chocolate frosted donut as well, and I think the free one was maple glazed if I'm not mistaken. All three of the donuts were top notch delicious and I can't think of a single non positive thing to say. I picked up an assorted half dozen to try a little bit of everything. That's where things got a little mixed. About half the donuts were great, soft, fresh, and hit that perfect sweet spot. The other half? Pretty dry and tasted a bit like leftovers from the day before (or maybe even the day before that). So, I'm on the fence. If I come back, I'll probably stick with the classics instead of the "fun" or seasonal ones, and maybe swing by earlier in the morning when everything's freshly made. I wouldn't cross this place off completely. Just might need to catch them at their best time of day.

We had the place to ourselves and I perused their display case. They had some interesting flavors and I only wanted 3, but their menu prices reflected 6 or 12 ($18 and $30 respectively). I asked if 3 would be $9, and the employee said yes. I chose their ube, Vietnamese coffee, and black sesame with raspberry. Other flavors included gochujang caramel, almond joy, churro, and blueberry crumble. It was hard choosing flavors cuz they all sounded great. I was rung up for 3 single donuts ($3.50 ea) and asked if that was correct. The employee said yes, as only the half dozen and dozen are discounted. I was tempted to get another 3 donuts but decided against it. We sampled the donuts after finishing our early dinner and the texture was spot on: light, chewy, and delicious. They're so fun and easy to eat too; you can pick off the balls and share them (if you want). Each of the toppings should differentiate the tastes, since the donut base is the same, but honestly none of them had strong flavors which was disappointing. The black sesame seeds did were the most flavorful, but not all of the balls had the seeds on them. Since I enjoy these donuts so much, I'd come back again, although not too often due to the price point.
