I placed an order (apple fritters for hanukkah surprise and a glazed donut) at 5:07 pm tonight on the app...20 min go by, I try to call them but no one picks up, the message says the mail box is full. I try to be patient and wait a bit more till I see a worker walk past my car- I ask her (Nani- the only decent experience of this entire night, she was on a break and really made an effort to help me) if she could check on my order. She comes back and says "we don't have anything you ordered available, would you like to come in and see what we do have?" so...i've been waiting a good 30 minutes and it took me to ask about my order only to be told there's NOTHING?!?! (but also, how does a donut shop not have a glazed donut in stock?) could someone not call me or come to the car and tell me this right after realizing not 1 of my 5 donuts are available? were they just going to wait till they closed? I was asked again if i wanted to come in and see what was left- we're in a pandemic, if i ordered curbside- no, i don't want to go in and see what's left. I ask for a refund but was told since I ordered on the app, I could not get a refund. so now 40 minutes of my time has been wasted and I leave with ZERO donuts but have paid for 5...Nani gives me the number that I called twice before to call and "try to get a refund"...I tell her the mailbox is full- she comes back and gives me the 1-800 number, I thank her and drive away. the 1-800 number only works monday -friday till 5pm EASTERN (it's saturday, 5:47pm) this was the worse service i've ever received. there was no manager in the store, no one knew how to help or how to offer help, my time was wasted without a solution and I will be calling my credit card to cancel the charges. maybe Nani should be a manager- she was the only one trying to help the situation. the mediocre donuts were overlooked for the convenience of a curbside pick up but the lack of respect for my time is what will keep me from returning here again. don't bother with this spot- there's far superior donuts elsewhere- even a donut shop across the street (randy's) save your time, money and sanity- try a different spot. read more

I had been having good breakfast meals here be it croissant cheese, sausage and eggs. They have a variety of breakfast meals. Everytime I go to this location, it seems as if everything is always slow. I came in before work once, but it seemed a little slow, so I just left. And that was just one person before me I decided to try their iced matcha latte. It wasn't bad, but they put too much ice in it. What person would want that? I have been here a few times. I've never had problem or issues with the service. However, today I stopped by and was kind of surprised to see the attached sign on the counter. I'm sure people want more money in their weekly take home pay but I found the sign a bit offensive. Firstly, because if I want to tip I will. I don't want to be shamed into tipping. Presuming that was the intent. Secondly, they already have the can on the counter "asking" for tips. The parking isn't the best but the service makes up for it, and they do validate parking for the structure behind them (must enter on Del Mar or Cordova). You have to order your items and pay for everything at one of 2 computer kiosks and not from a clerk. I usually go to Coffee Bean for coffee -- Dunkin coffee is less sweet (but that's probably good anyway). The selection of donuts is so-so -- I feel like Winchell's down the street has better variety. I'd go back though b/c the workers were all super friendly and kind and that's a huge thing these days. There is tons of seating outside the store and it's heated for cold days. read more

Dunkin' Donuts is such an east coast staple and I remember it being an awesome experience as a kid. What I experienced yesterday could totally be better. Not only did one of the donuts I had come with a dead gnat on them, (ordered 2 dozen) they were out of stock of the coffee beans I ordered through the mobile app. If you offer items through your mobile app and the purchase goes through, one would think that would mean the item is available at the pick up store -- this is not the case with Dunkin. The staff were super busy but if you caught their attention they were really courteous though unable to help refund payment. I was told I'd need to call in for a refund. So the short of it is... avoid the Dunkin' mobile app as that just adds confusion and frustration, and if you do decide to visit this store, only expect to get a cup of randomly brewed coffee - whatever is available. Lastly for those interested, They had 4 types of donuts available -- glazed, blueberry, and a donut with cake icing on top, and a raspberry filled donut. I went to three different locations to find heart shaped donuts. They were out of them. Finally, I located some at the Pasadena store. I want to give them out for Valentine's Day. This is my go-to Dunkin'. The line is usually non-existent, maybe 1 or 2 people at most. Some staff members are friendlier than others, as is the case with most places. The donuts are very consistent here. Having been to other Dunkin' stores, this is important to note as other locations lack consistency and quality like thislocation. The donuts, hot food and drinks all come out quickly. I will occasionally get my drink made incorrectly, but it's only about 5-10% of the time, and usually my fault for not speaking loud enough. If something comes out wrong, just speak up and they'll remake it for you, no big deal. I also enjoy the dog-friendly covered patio seating. It's a comfy place to chill or work on a nice day. WiFi is free too. If you park in the garage, they validate (1 hour I believe). read more

I was happy with the service here and so excited to see this new location in one of the prime areas of Pasadena. I've actually never ordered a doughnut from this establishment (yet) but from what I've seen, I like it. I went to kill time on my laptop for about an hour and ordered a hot cup of coffee. I've ordered a cold iced latte from another one of their chains and I wasn't that crazy about it but I won't dock a star since this location wasn't at fault for it. They have plenty of seating outside and everything looked clean and presentable with lots of shading. There was also free WiFi. PARKING Either available on the street (metered except for Sundays/holidays) or at the lot on Green street across the street behind Afters ice cream (free for a certain amount of time then you need to pay a small amount). I love Dunkin', their coffee is strong and sold at a pretty good price. I was never a fan of their donuts back in jersey; if you went past 5pm their display would be empty and fresh donuts were only served in the morning. I visited the DD location in Glendale at 7:pm and they had fresh baked donuts! Having this new location in Pasadena will really bring a new place for people to grab coffee at a good price, I like Starbucks but they don't offer combos like DD does. Looking forward to drinking a dunkaccino. They have better rewards than Starbucks. At times they give you free items just for reloading with a Visa. Wow a Dunkin Donuts in my neighborhood, I love it. Today is their first day open and I had to be there. Being brought up on D & D in NJ I had to go. My daughter and I had a vanilla cream and it was great, the God intended a donut to taste like. And talk about a fresh donut! I started coming here through a promotion with T-Mobile; get a free medium latte. However since they only have almond milk and it's not my favorite non-dairy milk, I asked if I could just get the shots of espresso in my personal cup. They were okay with that and I went on my way. The next week, I came in asking for the same thing, but not only would they not give me the espresso, but they wouldn't put the drink in my personal cup! I'm not sure if it's because it was a Starbucks cup, but I can't think of any other reason why they wouldn't accept my personal cup. If you're trying to transition away from Starbucks and try another brand of coffee, I don't recommend Dunkin. They don't seem to accommodate customized orders like Starbucks does. read more
