I came here to try out their version of the traditional Paczki (which is only available the month leading up to lent). Because it was towards the end of the day I called ahead and the friendly employee offered to put what I wanted aside as stock was low. Although small, there is still room for different assorted cases of goodies, several tables, and adequate spacing. I was impressed by their selection comparatively. This included, breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and cookies. I picked up my paczki and also grabbed a mini cannoli , as I was surprised to see they carried them! Quick and easy transaction. My only disappointment was that these were not aligned with what traditional paczki are supposed to be. I was surprised to find them with frosting (which to me is sacrilegious), and filled with strawberry creme, instead of jelly. I do not generally like frosting, on anything. These were more like a frosted, filled donut, rather than paczki. The cannoli was tasty.

I was with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and chose to sit outside. This is a perfect place to have a long lunch as they don't care if you stay and visit (we were there for over 2 hours). Our service was good and very friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich with mixed vegetables, and the chicken Caesar sandwich with fries. They were able to blacken my chicken instead of fried chicken, which I appreciated. I also wanted to have my side be onion rings, but they said they couldn't make a side of those, so I ordered the appetizer of onion rings. Holy smokes the serving was HUGE! They were also some of the best onion rings I have had. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly, and the side of broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus was fantastic. We also ordered iced tea, and it comes in a very large Mason jar and was brewed fresh. Yum. I have read some reviews about dinner that were not as favorable, but for a leisurely lunch, this place cannot be beat and was worth our drive.

The restaurant is in a house, but it's set up nicely. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, but it got quite full while we were there. And a bit noisy, but not so noisy that we couldn't talk. I ordered the coq au fin, which was tasty. My girlfriend got the mushroom pasta, which she really enjoyed. It's BYOB, but no corking free, so we reach enjoyed a beverage we brought with. For dessert the housemade Bourbon Pecan Ice Cream and Creme Brulee were both delectable. They do stack reservations (the restaurant's small), and the group who had reserved our table after us arrived before we were done. But the restaurant staff were nice about it and we were able to finish our desserts before departing.

They predominantly make fresh made from scratch donuts & pastries but you can also find there pretzels, bread loaves, cookies, muffins & other bakery treats. It might be hit or miss on some items but you definitely will be able to get donuts. They also have a small selection of drinks (coffee / milk / juice) to accompany your treats. Hours are open daily seven days a week opening early at 6:30 am and staying open until early afternoon until around 2pm. You will not find anything else but your typical bakery goodies so don't expect to get a sandwich to go. While the establishment is primarily for take out, there is one or two outside tables available. As far as the quality of product - these are by far some of the best donuts & pastries I have ever had. The selection is wide to accommodate both the adult crowd as well as the kids who like cute toppings like Oreos, M & M, icing decoration & the works on their sweet treats. Your basic donut runs you $1.25 and cream filled cost a little extra at $1.65. The staff is family owned & they are very pleasant, accommodating people driving hard to please. They accept both cash & credit cards. Do not be surprised to see a line out the door on weekend mornings.... But the wait is well worth it. To find a negative here is hard to do. My only observation so far is the pricing of some items that seem a little excessive. They are donut makers first & the pricing might get lost in the works. Regardless, this is another gem to the Queen City.

Every dish was unique and packed with flavor. The lobster may be the best in town--buttery, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The short rib mac and cheese was pure comfort food elevated to another level, with rich, melted cheese and a side of homemade tomato sauce that added an unexpected burst of flavor. The real surprise of the night was the potato cake. Whether it's a secret menu item or not, it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The combination of crispy potato cake, creamy goat cheese, and sweet apple butter was absolutely incredible and unlike anything we've had before. This restaurant continues to impress us with its creativity, quality, and outstanding service. We can't wait for our next visit.

Located in Old Milford, This restaurant looks like a diner, but I love their menu. It's a mix of tapas style, brunch, salads, sandwiches, has a speciality section for lobster with a unique drink menu. I love it! The inside is very welcoming and love the decor. Not too huge but definitely an intimate setting. Since it was a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We ordered: Drinks: -Paul Ponnelle Pinot noir (France) -Pierre Delize sparkling Blanc de Blanc (France) -Garage Beer Lime Lunch: -Chicken salad club sandwich -Arugula salad-grilled lemon vinaigrette, radish and Parmesan Potato cakes- whipped feta & apple butter We got our meals right away and they were delicious! Love the lemon vinaigrette as my dressing for my salad. The combination of the apple butter and whipped feta went so well with my potato cakes. I tried a bite of my fiancée's sandwich and loved the toasted bread and the chicken salad had great flavor! Our server was Hannah and she was very kind and attentive. What a great experience! I loved spending my time here and would definitely come back!
