I've given this location two chances now. For a new location in a prime area, you would think that they would have everything set and ready to go before opening. Unfortunately I don't believe this is the case. So, my first visit I will chalk up to being new, working out the kinks, training, etc, etc, etc. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with no cheese and a macchiato through the drive thru. The business itself was not busy at this time as it was late morning, a bit past breakfast time. I made it through the line quickly Aaaaand...made my way back into the line again. Yep, the breakfast sandwich had cheese on it. My first go round through the drive through the worker barely spoke a word, handed me my coffee and sandwich and I was on my way. The second time through he was much nicer and I do have to say they corrected the order quickly, with a smile and I was on my way again. The macchiato was S-W-E-E-T!!! I mean OVERLY sweet! I don't know how they can make drinks like this and not have them returned. My fault for not sipping it our of fear it would be too hot. By the time I tried it I was well down Dale Mabry and was not turning around at that point. The drink was free anyway on a reward through the app so no huge loss. The second visit was a bit disappointing. I went through the drive through again today for my go-to breakfast sandwich...egg white veggie omelet which USED to come on flatbread, but since Dunkin has basically ruined their menu by getting rid of some of the best items, this now comes on an English muffin. Even though I preferred the flatbread, I can live with an English muffin. I placed my order, (no cheese again) and am told they do not have English muffins right now because they are all frozen. WHAT?????? It's 10am and their menu items are frozen and unavailable??? I settle for a multigrain bagel-toasted. Quick service again (no cheese) and on my way I go. The first bite I almost spit out. The bagel was under cooked in the middle even with being toasted. When I picked it up it deflated and flattened. I've never had a bagel like this before. Unfortunately I had to be at and appointment and had no time to go through the drive through again to deal with yet another correction. I ended up eating the egg only and threw the bagel away. This was it for me. I don't have the time or feel like wasting anymore money here for less than mediocre food and service. This is too bad since this location is really easy to pull in and out of on my morning commute and so convenient. Maybe in a time of desperation I'll try it again MONTHS from now to give them time to read through the poor reviews on other sites to get their act together. But for now it just a toss up. It seems you never know what your going to get. Giving them them two starts just because they made it right the first visit by correcting their error and the service is quick for what should be a very busy location. read more

This location is the worst... a majority of the time they are out of things and their donuts are forever not fresh ... I gave the benefit of a doubt and tried them a few other times thinking that maybe they had a bad day , but it's pretty darn consistent....We were so excited to have a store open up so close to where we live, but turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. Not to mention how filthy and messy the employees keep the place .... The donuts were great, but I ordered a large dark roast coffee, black no sugar. They didn't have the dark roast so I asked for a regular roast, black no sugar. I got home with my coffee only to find it filled with mostly milk and sugar. I am lactose intolerant, so there is a reason I drink it black! I had to pour it down the sink. read more

This place is ridiculous. The last 3 times I have come here you can only order through the drive thru. They claim not enough employees, however I have seen 6-7 employees inside each time. That's more than other locations I have been to in the area, and they are quicker. There is always at least 4 cars that leave the line without ordering. Worst customer service ever. I am allergic to dairy and specifically asked for oat milk through the drive thru. When we got our receipt I realized it said cream instead of oat milk so I went in to make sure and the worker (I wish I caught his name) was extremely rude. He just kept repeating "I heard you" before I even finished asking him if it was oat milk and not cream. I told him I was allergic and still said "I heard you" instead of ensuring me it was oat milk as he was holding my coffee in his hand and pulling it away from me every time he said "I heard you." Coming from Massachusetts, Dunkin' has always been a favorite. However, the location on lutz lake fern and dale mabry in lutz, Florida is terrible. Just went at 1:15 today, Saturday. They were out of all bagels except multi grain, all munchkins except blueberry, the sweet foam for the cold brew ...so It was three strikes. (Have you heard of forecasting software?). The wake up wrap I got for my daughter was burnt and looks disgusting and she wouldn't eat it and the didn't put the chocolate drizzle on my sons frozen chocolate. I would say 90% of our trips there are a disappointment. I wish they had given me a receipt so I could complain to the store but they didn't even ask if I wanted one. And no napkins were given. Went to this Dunkin a week ago! Worst service I have ever had in my life. I thought the last manager Dwayne was bad but this guy Marco who I was told was the manager came up to me when I asked a question about how to redeem my rewards told me that I'm not listening and if I just let him finish I would know and made me very uncomfortable and I could hear and see him being very rude to his workers telling them that they should be more humble while he talks over his customers and walks from the front to back of the store not doing anything. What happened to good customer service and good coffee nowadays? I stopped going to the Dunkin' Donuts 2 minutes from my house because the coffee was always wrong. I never got the same coffee to taste the same. (Easy hazelnut coffee with cream, not anything crazy) I start coming to this location and it's not much different. Coffee taste like it's been boiled, can't taste the hazelnut half the time, the employees look at you pissed off that you're even in there ordering. Second try-I gave the vanilla cream another try since it's my favorite, it might have had maybe a teaspoon of cream. I ordered 3 doz donuts on a Thursday afternoon for pick up at 5:30 am, and I got there at 5:25 am and they were ready and all set to go for me. I went through the drive thru and ordered my coffee. They have been running ads everywhere for buy a coffee get one free. Quite possibly one of the worst Dunkin' Donuts I've ever been to, in the North or Southeast. For a "newer" Dunkin', this location lacks many basic principles of quality and customer service. I've given them multiple tries, for the sake of that it is right in my daily driving area to work. They have let me down each and every one of them. Shame on me for expecting different. Lines are long, drive thru and inside the place. Associates more concerned with their cell phones and convos between each other. When you do get some "help" they give you shortness and attitude. This morning was actually the reason I decided to review this place. I drove up at about 530 am, and mind you, the hours are posted for opening at 5 A.M. when I got there, there was 2 cars in front of me. They took a while to order and I just chalked it up to the usual Dunkin' biz. When I got to the drive thru speaker, I waited three minutes and said "hello?" No response. I drove up to the pickup windo and there is a woman, giving me a Michael Myers mean mug stare down and wouldn't open to talk to me or even apologize for the lack of service. This Dunkin' needs a serious overhaul. I won't be back until I hear or read differently about it.
