No donuts whatsoever at 10AM on a Wednesday. No explanation, just "Our Dunkin Donuts doesn't have any donuts." It was actually pretty funny.

I tried this location for the second time today and i won't be back. The first time, i was greeting nicely by staff in the drive-through but when i got to the window the manager, i'm assuming, was yelling at them for something while i say there to get my coffee. I found it unprofessional to keep me waiting while she yelled at her employees. This second time, she took my order and was extremely rude, rushed me through an order when no one was behind me and no one was parked or inside. I got something i didn't want because she didn't want to take more time for me to wait. She just kept asking "what do you want", but the girl who gave me my order was very nice and asked me how my day was going. This manager needs to chill tf out. thank you. read more

I'm genuinely shocked. I have never received such blatantly rude and shameless treatment before. The woman taking drive-thru orders on 7/16 at 9:50 a.m. must be going through some sort of rough time because her behavior was the furthest thing from acceptable. She wasn't wearing a name tag - and we couldn't ask for her name because we could barely even get our order in without her yelling in agitation - but she had black straight hair extensions and was wearing silver glittery eyeshadow. When my significant other tried to add an item to his order, she legitimately yelled, "No. Pull up to the window." When we pulled up to the pick-up window, that same woman handed our order to us - then legitimately demanded it to be handed right back. (Meanwhile we're sitting in confusion like ??? okay, no problem?? Why are you yelling ??) A few seconds later, another bag was handed to us and again, we were yelled at but this time to go pull around the corner to wait for our food. We sat waiting for our food for an additional 20 minutes which wasn't the most convenient thing in the world because we had somewhere to be, but we were understanding because it was busy. When the food was finally brought out by another employee, it was the incorrect order. When the order was brought out again, it was by the same woman we had previously interacted with in the drive thru - she joked about sending out the wrong order and only then did I realize she seemed a bit disoriented as if maybe she was high? She stumbled away from our car laughing while doing something on her phone and we were left sitting there like, "what in the world just happened?" read more

Service was super quick and everyone was friendly. Ordered a small iced Carmel cappuccino. Unfortunately, it is the worst Dunkin' Carm. Cappuccino I've ever had. I do no typically dish out more than $2 for coffee (if ever) and decided to treat myself on a rainy Monday morning. I've noticed that people here just don't understand how absolutely amazing Dunkin's coffee is. I just moved here from a city where there is a DD on every street corner, a convenience I took advantage of 3+ times per week. St. Louisans look at me oddly when I say I'm a devoted Dunkin fan like "Hey fatty, lay off the donuts, geez." I don't actually get donuts- just coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. Well, that and veggie egg white flat breads. And MAYBE a bagel sometimes. Mixed reviews about this location though. Major points for it merely existing, but I had questionable service during my last trip. Okay, flat out BAD service. We ordered two egg white flat breads, a bagel with cream cheese, two donuts and two iced coffees. For two people. Whatever, I was getting my 25 minute drive's worth. So... they messed up my order. Wrong type of bagel (plain although I said everything), cream cheese on the bagel (asked for it on the side) and my flatbread was turkey sausage instead of veggie. But I'll forgive you, Dunkin. Nestled close to the intersection of 44 and S. Kirkwood road this Dunkin' is a prime stop for an early morning coffee. The drive-thru is efficient, well most of the time taking a couple more minutes when they are busy. The staff always has a smile on their faces and a friendly morning comment which makes the whole experience feel a little more personal. The coffee itself is average, but for something that is quick, one cannot complain. On occasion, when ordering an iced drink or one that contains sweeter; the staff seems to be a little heavy handed. This morning I ordered an Iced Latte with Almond Milk (always nice to have options) and Caramel Swirl. Overall, it was okay. A little too sweet for my liking so next time I will go for something a little stronger. read more

If Dunkin keeps up the poor inconsistency of their product quality and availability, they may find themselves leaving the market yet again. The last 3 times we have gone to this location, they have been out of the Vanilla Creme twice. The last time they had them, but they were actually crunchy ( air stale). Their donuts are shipped in. All they have to do is add the cream so laziness is the the answer. I know this, as once when they were out, I got a bit vocal. A manager came and told me that they could have them out in a couple minutes, that all they have to do is add the cream. We had to wait while they brewed coffee. Come on- when you are in the business of selling coffee a pot should be made and waiting. If after a set amount of time passes, it should be dumped and remade. Dunkin is dumpin! read more

I'm not much of a coffee drinker. It makes me sick. Literally. But I've been running on an average of 5 hours of sleep per night this week, so DD was a necessity. I've been dying to try their coffee, anyway. I wanted to know what all the hype was about! I like that they have a drive through. I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso. It was delicious and creamy. WAY better than starbucks -- there was no bitter, metallic taste at all! I also had a few donuts (you can't go to DD without getting donuts!). I went to get some munchkin treats and all i got was a box full of trash. Initially i was excited that i got so many free extras until I realized that all of the munchkins were old and stale. I had gotten a variety assortment and each variety was equally stale. I went in to get my money back (almost $6!) and instead i got a fresh box. Why didn't i get the fresh ones to begin with you jerks?!? Don't give me your throwaways hoping the cold weather/inertia will keep me from coming back to call you out. Service was not good. Employees were rude, and not helpful. My husband ordered a Wake Up Wrap and didn't realize there were options for the contents and was met with total annoyance when I asked what the options were. The lady who took our hot food order, then wouldn't take the rest of our order and said the lady next to us would ring us out. She didn't even have the hot food on there, so we had to order again...It was just total chaos and not even that busy!! Hot food was fine, no better than your average fast food place. Remember when Krispy Kreme first came to St. Louis? Lines were out the door? The drive thru was a disaster? People just couldn't stay away, couldn't get enough, and we all ended up a few pounds heavier for it. Well, I think this Dunks is having much the same effect on St. Louis. The line is out the door, the drive thru line is atrocious, and frankly, most people are just there because they are excited about the hype. Dunks failed miserably in St. Louis nary a decade ago, and now we are welcoming it back with loving arms. I can't say I am upset, as a former New England dweller, I love my coffee regular from here and though I'm not a donut fan, even I can appreciate a box of Munchkins. I am just curious to see how long this lasts. We are a local donut town. Just look at how empty Krispy Kreme is today for proof. All in all, I love my Dunks. I will always love my Dunks (more for the coffee than anything). I will be anxious to see what this place is like when the hype calms down and I just can run in for a coffee whenever I choose. Every Saturday, after waking up, we go out to grab donuts for the fam. We love Dunkin Donuts and know that the staff at the location closest to our home is unfortunately rude, impatient, and unprofessional. We'll drive out of our way to other locations but every now and then we'll stop in thinking that something has changed. This morning proved us wrong yet again. I don't eat the donuts because I don't like donuts. They taste like sugar to me. BUT I love their coffee and the fact I can go there with my crazy hours of work, as it is open 24 hours is fantastic. They serve an egg white turkey sandwich, which I get with out cheese, served on flat bread that is decent enough for someone trying to get to work. Research says that the Turkey egg white sandwich is actually lower fat/better for you then the veggie one. Crazy! I am addicted to their pumpkin muffins. I have one every other day and I need to stop. lol. They are almost ALWAYS out of their pumpkin muffins as they are all kinds of awesome. Service is friendly. They make decaf coffee fresh for me when ever I want it and I can see them starting the coffee maker from my car. TLDR: Open 24 hours. Yummy Pumpkin Muffins! Good coffee! I would give less stars if it was possible. I was really excited to try Dunkin' Donuts for my first time. It was the nastiest thing I've ever had. How do you mess up a glazed doughnut and a Carmel iced coffee. The doughnuts had no flavor probably because there was almost no glazed icing on them. The iced coffee tasted like 2 day old burnt coffee grounds, there wasn't a single hint of Carmel in it. I'm glad me and my wife spent $15 for food I literally threw away, I honestly wouldn't feed this to someone who was starving or even to an animal. And by "meh, I've experienced better," I mean at other Dunkin Donuts outside of St. Louis. I'm not talking about lil mom and pop donut stores. This is definitely an apples-to-apples review. One appeal of fast food Is that it's always the same. A frosty from New York will taste like a frosty from California. It's always reliable and just as you remember it. Such were my thoughts when I pulled up to the drive thru to get the iced coffee I'd so been craving since this DD opened. A few weeks ago, The Riverfront Times splashed a big headline on its page with the review "Dunkin Donuts Coffee is Irredeemable Swill" I was one of many who scoffed at such blasphemy. It is, in fact, so freakin good that they sell it by the pound. Like Starbucks or Kaldis. Take that, McCafe! But, after my 1st sip of my iced coffee, I was inclined to agree with Ian. It was weeeaaakkk. The color was even so off to make me question if they accidentally gave me tea instead. Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe it. It was like attending the 2008 reunion show of the band you worshiped as a child only to realize that they really never were that talented after all. (Cue sad trombone.) Now, maybe the workers here are still adjusting to the art of the iced coffee. We're not really much of an iced coffee kinda town, but this was BAD. The donuts were ok. I can't say I have any emotional attachments to the donuts here. Oddly enough, there were no napkins in my bag of donuts. Glazed donuts. That I got to eat in my car on the way to work. They ignore what you're saying when you order and then when you get to window they will hands down 1000% give u wrong drinks and think it's okay. I went through the Drive Thru to get an Iced Coffee only because I had a coupon for a $0.99 Iced Coffee. When I asked if their Iced Coffee was sweetened, the woman in the Drive Thru sighed deeply and said in a rude tone "If you want it to be." She was very discourteous, and I definitely did not feel like I was being valued as a customer. The drink itself was also terrible. She added the sugar first to the ice and cream, which meant it sank to the bottom of the cup. When she added the hot coffee, it melted the ice but never reached the sugar, so now I have luke-warm coffee with sugar sitting in the bottom of my cup. I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and with this restaurant, and I would definitely recommend that anyone considering going here drives somewhere else instead. read more

I give this location two stars because they sell donuts. I deduct 3 stars from this location because they STINK at serving coffee. Ya know, a lot of people love their coffee. I, myself, am not a huge fan of it. From time to time, I will stop and get an iced latte in the morning, but I am going to take my specialty coffee orders to Starbucks from now on. Everytime I order an iced latte with skim milk and a half a pump of caramel, it comes to me looking differently. This morning the gentleman put my latte on the counter and I said, "whats THAT?" he responded, "yo latte." "why does it look like that? it's so.... white." "its the skim milk. or the caramel. it's the milk. skim milk." "I ordered one earlier this week that didn't look like that." "it's the milk." "uh, the one I ordered earlier in the week also had milk in it." [hands me the drink] "thanks for coming to dunkin donuts." ....uh... thanks for the slightly latte flavored milk? and for ignoring my obvious distaste that I just paid $4 for something I did NOT want. It will now sit in my car while I head into the office, and NOT be consumed. Have a little pride in your product and show some consistency. I, like America, run on Dunkin. Dunkin coffee that is. So now that there are a few Dunkin Donuts popping up across town, I was very excited to have some of my favorite coffee in the STL. Yeah, it's a chain, but there is nothing better than a medium regular coffee with 2 creams and 1 sugar. It really gets my day going. This location still seems brand new and very nice on the interior.
