Just got our STL Coffee Pass and this was our first place to try. Super cute coffee and plant shop…read more A few places to sit on the shaded porch as well as main level and lower level shop. Not sure if there's an upstairs but definitely a fun place. Love when my mocha latte has a blended chocolate flavor and balanced with the coffee. They had a nice pastry assortment as well that we will have to try next time!

When you enter, it's very small but very well put together décor wise. Each area had signs that discouraged movement of their furniture and had its own kind of theme. I was meeting up with a friend and her daughter and unfortunately did not realize they had the typical café hours (closed at 2pm) so my visit was very quick (30 minutes) and I had to rush my conversation. I ordered an iced Monstera Mint latte and chocolate coffee cake slice. When the barista called up my order, I repeated my order asking if it's mine (they don't use a name system) and apparently *I* mispronounced MONSTERA because she turned her back and said within earshot to her coworker how I did not pronounce it correctly and why do people say it incorrectly. I am not a big plant person so excuse me for not knowing how every single plant name is pronounced. I know people vent at work, but it made me feel uncomfortable the rest of my visit, so I was glad it was almost time to leave before they closed. Vent after customers leave if you have to.... Anyways, my MONSTER-AH mint latte was good, but the chocolate coffee cake was a bit too dry for me. And service could have been a bit more professional in my opinion.

It has that classic Korean bakery setup where you grab a tray, pick out your breads and pastries as you walk through, then order cakes, coffee, and drinks at the counter. The space itself is bright, clean, and inviting, with plenty of tables if you want to sit and enjoy everything fresh. We picked up a Tuxedo Choco Cake for my son,,he loved it, and added a mix of pastries: a spinach feta danish to go, a guava danish, a Portuguese egg tart, and a kimchi croquette. Not a single miss in the bunch; everything tasted fresh, balanced, and well-made. The drinks were just as impressive. I tried a Hot Honey Lavender Macchiato for the first time, and it was excellent, comforting, floral, and just sweet enough. My wife gave it her stamp of approval too, which says a lot. Overall, it was such a fun, satisfying stop after a big weekend for our little athlete. Great pastries, great coffee, and a great atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

I was there 45 minutes before closing so the selection was a bit scarce but the items I did try were ok... The Ube latte was milky and needed a larger boost of ube flavor. The pistachio macaron filling was a bit waxy but the earl grey was good! The strawberry and green tea cake slice was not the best. The green tea flavor didn't pop nor did the strawberry flavor. The spinach feta pastry was delicious!! I may have to go back for more savory bites. The sweets didn't sell me. I'm not sure if they warm your pastries for you but if not, I recommend adding that service. The seating is intimate but the atmosphere is so cute and casual! Perfect for catching up with a friend or enjoying yourself.

I was excited to finally try this place even though I was warned about the baklavas being too dry. Sadly that's true. I dint think they are made fresh. They lack syrupy. I understand they don't have much food traffic but cutting down on the types of baklava and freshly making them should solve that problem. Probably the second worst baklava I've had out here. I see why they make shakes though. Since they don't sell ans have leftover stock. We initially sat down to eat but it was so awkward that there's no music and so quiet. My husband said they don't vacuum between the chairs which were full of crumbs. We eventually got our food to go. The second issue is the food. We got a sucuk flatbread and ans egg pide. This is not a pide, it's just pizza bread. Cheese is mozzarella, should have been beyaz cheese. Middle eastern cuisine doesn't use this cheese. My egg was raw and just throw in a corner. Could have saved myself money by just getting domino's, at least my food would be cooked. If you want quality, try Balkan treat box, Aya Sofia or Garbanzo. I would also like to state that there is one employee that works front and back. I didn't see him washing his hands once going back into the kitchen to handle my food. Seems like there a big hygiene issue
