Tried a Pink Velvet Macchiato today!. Too sweet and cloying for me. At least I didn't order the matching donut. Guess I will stick to my regular order of medium hot decaf with a splash of cream. The bacon and potato's are always cold, the people who work in the morning seem like they hate their jobs, and it just defeating when you try to be nice and say thank you, they just toss your food towards the window and say here ya go! Quality of your bagels, I complained to the manager he said his name was Bernard . My complaint was that the bagel I purchased yesterday was stale. He said would you like me to lie to you, are bagels are fresh . So it impossible for you to have a stale bagel. It is a nice DD - lots of seating, relaxing fish tank, lounge chairs. And they have multi stall bathrooms - not just the single room. Service is fast and efficient. BUT - the parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of. Crossing multiple lanes of traffic, and a one way traffic pattern. I don't live nearby, but travel 84/91/95 in CT a lot. Just the parking lot alone is enough for me to choose another highway exit. read more

If there was a zero, this place gets a zero every time I go in this place no matter what time of the day it is. It is so filthy customer service stinks. It's so slow in there everybody standing around looking at each other but they can't clean the filthy dining room the counters are you what are your food? This is a very nice Dunkin' Donuts. It's very relaxing and modern inside too. They have stations for charging your electronics. Plus they have tablet holders too. They have a fire place, and surrounding the fire place are 4 extremely comfortable chairs. Plus the seating throughout the rest of the restaurant is comfy too! They do have free wi-if as well. They even have a huge fish aquarium. Whenever I see kids come in, they are always drawn to it. It is nice to watch, as the fish are beautiful. The staff has always been friendly and quick. I've ordered inside as well as the drive through and have never had an issue. Order has always been accurate. The food and drinks are consistent with any other Dunkin' Donuts. I've had a variety of drinks there and occasionally I will get food. The food though i nothing amazing, but for the price and convenience factor it's good in that aspect. For a quick bite and the convenience factor (right off 91) I recommend this Dunkin. I prefer this one rather than the one closer to Friendly's. Nothing wrong with that one, I just like the atmosphere better at this one. read more

The bathrooms need work, especially for being only 8am in the morning. They are well stocked here, basically you can get the full dunkin menu. Large reef aquarium, gas fireplace, pumpkin on every table. Interior Is clean. Though the small chai latte is the size of a sample cup. I'm sure this Dunkin' Donuts is fine for most people at most times, but please explain to me what the point is of claiming that retail (i.e., the store) opens at 4am on Sunday when the door is inevitably locked half the time even when I arrive at 4:15am. I stopped by this location on my way up to Boston with a friend and I'm glad I did. This is the nicest and coziest Dunkin' Donuts I've been to. This statement carries a lot of gravity because I am a DD addict and have been to countless locations. Upon entering, you are greeted by a fish tank that has a wide variety of fish and a nice fireplace where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Service was also very quick and the workers were friendly. I was going to just go back to the resturant to get my order fixed, then I thought again...how stupid would I be to go back to the troll that guards the drivethru window at this late/early hour? She was OBVIOUSLY pissed off at me for coming to her place of business and interrupting her night. I ordered 2 egg, cheese, and bacon sandwhichs, and two glazed doughnuts. $12.XX. She barely said anything to me as she took my card and when she brought my food I felt like she would have cussed me out if I said anything to her. They make coffee and they serve you donuts (or doughnuts if you prefer that spelling). But they can mess up bagel and sandwich orders sometimes. Check your order before you leave. Parking lot is a bit awkward when it's busy. But it's an easy on and off from Interstate 91. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way from Maine to Pennsylvania. It's around 1:00 in the afternoon because we purposely waited until lunch rushes would be over. To start, the bathroom was filthy - toilet paper all over the floor, full toilet bowls (with #2), sprinkles on the seats, and hair and other junk all over the sinks. Then, we waited in line behind 1 person for almost 10 minutes while the cashier took almost 5 minutes just to take an order. She was annoyed at every question the customer asked, shook a bottle of pumpkin spice flavoring in his face at one point and didn't seem to understand what he was ordering. The man turned around to us and apologized, saying he wasn't sure what he just ordered after that conversation, but he just couldnt wait for it to end. As we was standing and waiting, we watched another customer's order get messed up (it was a simple latte). There were at least 4 employees behind the counter, but no one could take our order. The original cashier, still annoyed, finally shouted to us over the counter that it was going to be a few minutes and we were just going to have to wait. I finally please my water with a young lady who does not thank me or end of the conversation. I pull up to the window where young man with his tongue sticking out does not say hello does not ask me if I ordered a coffee hence me my coffee takes my money and does not say a single word. I proceed to thank him because I do have manners and drive away. In my personal opinion the 1st person you talk with during the day sets the tone for you these children plucked my last nerve just by being unfriendly. It's super clean and the staff does a great job getting you your food. There is also a fish tank inside with a TV and fireplace, very cozy! Meanwhile, they do differ when it comes to service and this one couldn't have been better - at least when I drove through. Hello, I've been using the drive-thru here for the past 12 years, anywhere from 3:45 to 4:00 a.m. I have no problem with the girls at the window, they are kind and efficient. The problem I have is, There is a USESI box truck who backs things up every morning. He will use the no parking lane (posted,no parking)(no one can exit) being the truck is too tall. He gets out, walks up to the window and puts his order in, regardless of who is in line. I've seen numerous people back up and leave because of this. I find it a little strange to be writing a review of dunkin donuts but I really enjoy stopping by this one on my way to work. The people are very friendly and it's one of the nicest buildings I've ever been in for a DD. We stopped in this evening and were extremely impressed with the appearance of this Dunkin'. They have a beautiful Christmas setup and a nice seating area with a faux fireplace. Unfortunately: 1) When we ordered both girls at the counter had extremely bad attitudes. They seemed bothered by having to take an (easy) order that lasted no more than twenty seconds, despite the fact that we we were friendly and there were only two other customers in the store-- two teenage boys. Franky, they were rude. Oddly, they were quite giggly and happy to talk to the two teenage boys who ordered before us, and who then went back up to the counter to chat with the girls after we ordered. The girl working the headset who brought us the coffee was the only employee of the three we interacted with that had a good attitude-- she brought over the coffees with a smile and something to the effect of "have a nice night." 2) Three of our donuts were not fresh, and the fourth was stale. The location is a bit strange .. it's a side road off the main road. It isn't super easy to get into if you are headed toward Berlin and need to cross traffic, but if you are headed into Cromwell it's no problem. This used to have a Baskin Robbins in it, I guess that didn't work so now its just a DD. Big interior, lots of table, pretty big parking lot. drive-thru. What more could you ask for? I've been going here for 5 years and this place does a few things exceptionally well (to the point where I'm on yelp writing a review for a Dunkin Donuts). First, the coffee always tastes fresh. A lot of DD's I've been to have a stale old taste to their coffee, so this sticks out as a major plus to me. Second, they have NEVER messed my order up. I can't even begin to estimate the number of times I've gone to other Dunkin's and gotten HORRIBLE coffees. I get a regular coffee with cream and sugar, and somehow that translates to "A cup of sweet milk with a dash of coffee" at most stores. Not here, they make it perfectly, every. single. time. Third, whoever owns or manages this place must provide exceptional training and a nice working environment because the employees are always really nice - I never feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I show up. read more

They screw up my order half the time, after making me wait in an empty store for five minutes or longer to order despite the fact that there are always employees standing around doing nothing. They are rude, refuse to take complaints seriously and the shift supervisor just swore and yelled at me when I asked for the managers phone number. Basically told me that the poor customer service was my fault because I asked them to make me a new drink. I ordered, and was charged for, a tea and they gave me a hot chocolate. 0/10. If you need DD fix, go to the one down the street in Walmart, this place is just awful. I usually have no complaints about DD, and I usually don't think that they are anything special either. HOWEVER, at my last visit this past Friday morning about 8:30 the man working the drive thru actually took the time to look at my debit card and thank me by name.
