I am a Dunkin girly on the daily. I happened to be on this side of town and was in a rush. So I did an order ahead to hope to get through quickly. Saddened to say it did not work. I saw the employee all alone make the drink when I got to the window. Which is fine. I've worked in understaffed places before. I ordered a Baskin Robbin's birthday ice cream cake at this Dunkin/Baskin store a week before. I showed them from their website which cake I wanted. When I showed up yesterday, it was a totally different cake that I had not ordered. I asked for my money $45 back that I had paid in advance, as the order was incorrect. They said it would be a couple of days for them to get around to it after they spoke to the owner. I should have gotten my money back on the spot. The refund still has not shown up on my bank account. We went to the Baskin Robbin's on Southern Blvd. And got a different cake entirely. Ugh! Better give me my money back soon. So this afternoon I went back to Baskin Robbin's to get my $45 refund for the cake that they did not make what I ordered. The manager, Megan had to contact the owner who said because I ordered in the store, she was not going to refund me. I was told the owner was in church. I said it was not a very Christian thing to do to a customer from the Christian owner. I explained that I was not going to leave until I got my full refund. After about 20 minutes, they decided to give me back my full refund in cash. What a despicable way to run a business and treat a customer. I have no idea what has happened to Dunkin over the past few years, but this place is the epitome of rock bottom. If there is no manager there, it's a free-for-all regarding poor quality, missing items, rude behavior and just lousy service. The young people there couldn't care any less. The long haired blond guy at the window is horrible at personal interaction. Two other young guys during the day are no better. This place is constantly out of items very early in the am. Coffee is sometimes hot! That's a plus. The older gentleman that works there is a gem. He's really good, friendly and loves to joke. Please stay away from this store. McDonald's is right across the street. Better coffee anyway. Wrote to corporate after trying to find where to write. Still waiting on a response 3 weeks later. This use to be a good location and I love Dunkin! However the last 3 times we have visited service was extremely slow, order was incorrect and each time they were out of an item we ordered. I enjoy going to this location. It is a bit out of my way but when we are heading out of town and we have to get on I25 we pass this location. I do go and sneak a donut or munchkins every now and then. The people there are nice on the Dunkin side and accommodating on the baskin side. The doughnuts are always old and I've gotten some that are slimy on the bottom from age. They keep them till they seek with zero quality control. We've gone in only to find "whatever's left, so pick from that". Nooo thanks.... Some of the workers are nice don't get me wrong but a few are so rude and the place is just so subpar. Literally anywhere else will be better hands down freshness wise as everything here sits till it's sold. It is the worst Dunkin I have ever seen. Total bummer as it's the closest to me but no way. Rudest, snotty and overall horrible staff I have ever seen. they all mumbled and you couldn't hear a thing they were saying. the dude that took my order was facing away from me the whole time so he couldn't hear me. All I wanted was 3 scoops of cookie dough, and that was fine until he turned around and started pouring choco sauce onto it. and that would be okay but they charge so much extra for toppings. The Baskin Robbins side of the store ice cream section is worthless. I've written a bad review about them in the past and the manager contacted me and told me things would be straightened out that has not happened. I was in two weeks ago and the door was locked at 1 o'clock on a Saturday and they were totally closed, I went this week and again no waffle cones so they could not make ice cream cones at 12:30 in the afternoon. I know from my previous experience I was told the waffle cones are made in the morning before they open that obviously did not happen yet again. extremely poor management. read more

Was there at 9:00AM on 03/25 and few donuts to choose from. I asked if they had any chocolate glazed cake donuts and the manager said no. After ordering two different donuts I started walking out I looked back and out walks a person with a full sheet of glazed chocolate cake donuts. Also, five people in line and only one register while other staff members were walking around like zombies. Very, very disorganized. They need a new manager to straighten out the place. Very rude staff. Especially manager. Never have a selection of product. Did you know that they are eliminating butter from their inventory. Only 1% of people use butter according to the manager(who was a moron by the way). Asked for a dozen donuts and he gave us the oldest product in the shop when we asked for a few replacements he freaked out threw the box and yelled " then you tell me what you want." Very abrasive.. I would have him removed if he worked for me. Refused to serve us. Asked us to leave. Worked out great for us because we went across the street to Starbucks and had a wonderful meeting. We were holding meetings at this location for the past month or so and this is the first time we ran into this manager. (Guess he's not there much). Don't get excited thinking your going to have some late night or early morning doughnuts at this location. They are not open 24 hours as their hours state. They close at 11pm and open at 5am as per the piece of paper that is taped on their door. Also beware of miserable employees! Went the day before and got a bagel with cream cheese and it was surprisingly good so we decided to go back the next day. I don't know how there can be such a drastic change in quality, but they completely confused my order and started making bagels with one slice of American cheese instead of cream cheese. They fixed it and gave us bagels with the tiniest amount of cream cheese, so it was pretty much bread. They also gave the bagel that had the slice of cheese and it had a hair inside... Got a milkshake and it was straight milk. Don't even know what ice cream they put in because I didn't taste shit. The donut was the only okay thing, but even that was lacking some frosting. Growing up in New England we would go on Sunday morning to get donuts and back then they were made on the premises. While living in Utah when Dunkin's came to town I was excited. When I stopped by the service was not great and the donuts were not fresh. Now finding one in Placitas and gave it another try and the woman at the counter was very friendly and pleasant and the donuts were fresh! It reminds of when I was a kid in New England. I was really excited to see a Dunk in Donuts come to Bernalillo. Sorry to say this one is horrible. The place is always dirty, they are always out of coffee flavors and common ice cream flavors. I have witnessed management yell at employees in front of customers. Over the last 2 months I have yet to actually get what I've ordered and using the app is a complete waste of time because supposedly their wi-fi isn't working so the orders don't go thru. I am a super loyal DD fan from growing up on the east coast and frequenting the Albuquerque locations on 4th street and the other new location on Coors Blvd. For some unknown reason, the coffee served at this DD is not as good as the coffee at every other DD I have ever been to. Not sure why it is off, but it is no better than McDonald's coffee. Come on folks....let' get it fixed! To the manager of the Bernalillo location, my husband and I visited your store on 3/26 at 9:30 am and ended up walking out without a purchase. We stood at the register, nobody ahead of us for 10 minutes watching 4 employees waiting on the one vehicle in the drive up and didn't even acknowledge us. This was after we watched them load endless boxes and bags of donuts right in front of us. I realize they "might" have been busy but they acted as if we weren't there, just invisible. Just a quick "we'll be right with you" or any acknowledgement, or even eye contact but NO! I had noticed that we passed somebody when we entered the store without a purchase and didn't realize they had walked out also. We were so excited when Bernalillo opened up and have made several trips in the past enjoying your business even though in the past the workers are not always friendly and act like it's a pain to wait on walk in customers. But I love my donuts until now. Sadly we will not be returning to this location even though we live in the area.
