Im new to Duluth, MN and they were the first sit down restaurant that I have tried and I have no regrets. They set the bar high for every other restaurant I go and try. I got a bison burger and their golden chai tea that tasted like a cinnamon roll in a cup, but 10x healthier. Definitely helped my digestion for the next week. Their burger was amazing I never had bison before but it reminds me of if a pulled chicken sandwich was still shredded yet still one solid piece like a patty. We had heard this was the must try spot in Duluth and I couldn't agree more. While reservations are not allowed, there is a wait list that gets you in fairly swiftly. A text will be received as your table is ready and then when you arrive, you will get priority. It's important to note if you are running behind you simply get bumped down the list which is no biggie if and when the list is short. We got seated at the bar and truly enjoyed the entire experience. There are fancy coffee options similar to what you'd see in a formal coffee cafe and the staple is the beautiful mugs all warm drinks are served in. These same amazing mugs are available for sale near the front cash register in the pottery section. The food was a chef's kiss all around. I opted for the vegan rancheros omelette with a side of red flannel hash. The hash is a normal side option and I can't recommend it more as it's a combination of sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, onions, bell peppers, salt and pepper and thyme. For my drink, I ordered the hot apple cider which had orange slices and cinnamon sticks. I had a small amount leftover and was able to eat it the same day for dinner. I can't wait to return! SOLID five star experience. Despite being packed to the brim on a weekend morning for brunch these folks run a well oiled operation. My friends and I waited maybe only about 25 mins which was honestly worth it! The food the vibes the staff were all amazing. Our food came out quickly and was just drool worthy. I ONLY come here for the opposite...carb-loaded, creamy brunch favorites that warm the soul! Oh Duluth Grill, how I love you so I've been to this lovely restaurant 3 times now, and each time I've had a brilliant meal with stellar service. There are very few places that I'd happily wait an hour for, but Duluth Grill is one of them. From their homey but refined and modern interior, to the locally sourced ingredients, and their insanely good cocktails, I find myself mind blown every time I get the chance to eat here! I've almost always sat at the bar, and I am so impressed by the efficiency and cleanliness of the magic I see before my eyes. I've had their dude abides cocktail every time I've visited. It's a delicious twist on the classic White Russian and I love munching on the Cocoa Puffs on top. I've had their turmeric cocktail and their stat spangled one as well. Both were unlike anything I've had before and were delicious! As for the food, you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely get the house hashbrowns with beets, and I'd recommend their miso dish as well. This place was on Food Network for a reason. A must stop restaurant to try when you are in Duluth! Honestly, I would put it at one of the top places I have been to in all of Minnesota period. At first, I was kind of confused by the menu. They have a lot of Korean inspired meals but also have very classic American diner and Mexican breakfast items like huevos rancheros & eggs benedict. So I didn't know what to expect when I ordered the PB burger w/ Korean brussel sprouts ($15). When the food came two things came to mind: WOW huge portion & WOW it looks bomb!! The Korean brussel sprouts have to be the tastiest brussel sprouts I have ever had! They were crispy (like chips), tangy, and had a little spice. The PB burger was just as delicious with an oozing egg. My mom got the Bibimbap ($19) which was also super good! Definitely worth the price. To top it off, the service was amazing! We had about an hour wait, and you can choose to leave the site and come back since there's a QR code on your phone that's given to you and it tells you in real time where you are in line. If you'd like to wait on site (outside), you can get your drinks first and sip it outside as you wait. Food: Since I'm vegan, I ordered their Bhaji Dosa (for whatever reason, this is on their menu on site but not online). Sort of like a rice and lentil crepe with creamy potatoes stuffed inside. There were not a lot of vegan options but this was very savory and delicious. A little too spicy for me but I have suuuper low spice tolerance so I'm sure it's fine for most people. Service was friendly and reasonably fast for how packed the restaurant was. I had the Chicken and What? It was Chicken and Pancakes instead of Chicken and Waffles. The Chicken was dry and so was the pancake but the corn and bacon redeemed the pancake which was more like a large cornbread cake. The syrup was also tasty. Both of my friends had vegetarian options and became part of the clean plate club! The ingredients tasted fresh and the food came out hot.
