Great burgers, wings, and milkshakes. The gochujang wings and the butterbeer shake is insane

Service was intentional: Hosts, bartenders, servers, and bussers, were all helpful. Belle was an awesome server! Environment was pretty fun: Small and cozy, yet didn't feel crowded. Food was fantastic: from the Wings, to the burgers and sides - everything's flavor was amazing and textures were perfect. Be careful - "spicy" is pretty hot! read more

Popped into Burger Paradox right at the tail end of dinner rush and we got a fresh table. Our server (Taylor) was quick, knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great suggestions. We started off with KBBQ Spouts & Buffalo dill pickle fries and they both were excellent. After a bit of a wait our burgers and fries came out hot and ready to get smashed. We all ordered different burgers (Table of 4) and after the appetizers we knew we were in for a treat. All in Burger Paradox was stellar and I'm now I'm a food coma writing this review. Damn. 5 Stars read more

Walked in with a small group of 3 of us on a busy Grandma's marathon weekend Saturday night and we were lucky enough to get seated at the bar pretty much right away. We were waited on by the bartender right away who gave great drink and food recommendations. Their entire menu is very unique from the cocktails to the apps to the various wings and burgers. Are you at a different cocktail and I had the orange shrimp which came with a popsicle in it which was incredible. It reminded me of the Flintstones push-ups from when I was a kid. We split the deal cheese cards and we all got a different burger to try so we could share. They smash style burgers and we really enjoyed them all (paul b'onion, wompling, whata Gouda). They also have four of their own house made sauces which were all incredible. The fries and Brussels on the side were also all delicious. The interior decor and painting murals on the wall are all super unique as well as the lights in the ceiling give a very cool vibe to the place. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a burger or even a fun drink! read more

Came on the recommendation of a friend and it was even better than they said! The food was delicious, maybe one of the best burgers of my life. The fries were delicious. The house made sauces were fun! Cute atmosphere, funky and eclectic. Make sure you check out the bathrooms. Street parking, fully accessible space. Gets very busy very quickly but worth the wait! Can't wait to go back! read more

Consistently good burgers, shakes and apps. Drinks are great as well. Service is always on point. We love the wings, korean sprouts, and beef fat fries as well. Oh, and the sauces offer something for everyone! Great vibe, check them out, you won't regret it! read more

We always have to stop here whenever we are visiting duluth. The burgers are all amazing no matter which one you get, and the sauce caddy that it comes with is really good. The mac and cheese here is really good as well as the brussel sprouts. No notes, we love this place! read more

My son has celiac and is, of course, gluten free. Our server came over to talk to us about the menu and their sauces, as soon as my kiddo said "celiac" the server took out one of the sauces and said, this one has gluten. He was extremely knowledgeable and safety protocols, their dedicated fryer, what they cannot make gf (almost everything can be prepared gf). My son ordered some spicy burger, and the server right away let him know the deep fried jalapeños aren't gf but he could sub pickled jalapeños. We felt so safe. And then, the food was delicious! Our smash burgers were crispy and meaty, the buns were good, and the fries were hot and fresh. We will definitely be back!! Special thanks to our server, Logan, for the wonderful service! read more

Excellent service and delicious burgers. I had the McDowell, a take on a fast food burger, but 100 times better. Definitely get fries just so you can try it the different sauces at the table. The milkshake also yummy, even though I didn't order one myself. read more

Burger Paradox is our go to spot when hungry for a great burger. The menu is innovative and especially enjoy the Brussels Sprouts!

It's been a year and they have improved their menu! Dilly dilly cheese curds. Cubes of deliciousness. Their orange table sauce makes it taste like a big Mac pizza roll. It's kindof crazy ! Their wings ... new concept for me here. We got 3 different kinds. Soy ginger PB&J Peach bourbon BBQ Fu€£ those wings slap! If I make it back this weekend I may try a burger but those wings I'm going to leave Duluth craving esp those PB&J and the Peach BBQ but I love a little sweet with a touch of spicy. read more

My husband and I enjoy trying new things every time we visit Duluth and this was definitely one of our tastiest options! I love the decor and ambience of the restaurant. They are located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth which is really becoming one of our favorite spots to check out. We tried Deep-fried Korean Brussels Sprouts, Beef-fat Fries and The Armadillo Bomb burger. The Brussels were sooooooo good! The fries were hot and crispy and I loved the flavor profile of the burger. We went later at night on a weeknight so it wasn't too busy and our food came out super fast and fresh! I wish I had more room to try one of their chicken sandwiches. We will be back the next time we are in that neck of the woods! read more

We started with the corn ribs, which were way better than I expected. Honestly wasn't sure what to imagine, but they were awesome -- definitely worth trying. I ordered the OG burger, which had great flavor and a fresh bun that held up nicely. Totally on me, but I should've asked for light mustard -- just a bit strong for my taste. Fries were spot on too. My wife ordered the Gochujang Wings and said, "Top 2 wings I've ever had. The combo of both sauces was . Perfectly crispy with a great crunch -- even good cold as leftovers!" Overall, great atmosphere, friendly service, and food that hits the spot. We'll be back next time we're in town! read more

Fun spot with unique burgers! Our server was friendly and gave personalized recommendations. The wompling with brussel sprouts was the clear winner. We liked the whata-gouda, but it could have used more cheese and wasn't as unique as the wompling. read more

Best burgers my wife and I have had! Highly recommend the Peter Piper, advertised as HOT, but delightfully tasty. Ann had Whata-Gouda burger and we cannot wait to return! Thank you, Duluth! read more

This place was a total vibe. Big bar and many tables to choose from in the bar area or dinner room. The art work and music brought me back to the 90's. Our waitress mentioned a new wing flavor and the specials. We enjoyed the Wata Gouda burger and the Galaxy burger. You can choose a side with your burger. The French fries are fried in beef fat. Yum! The Brussel Sprouts are the best I ever had! They had a delicious Korean miso sweet sauce topped with Gorgonzola. Ahhhmazing flavor!! If u want a good burger in Duluth, (Lincoln Park n'borhood) come here!! read more

10/10 experience. Onion rings were perfectly crispy and paired sooo well with every sauce at the table! I absolutely fell in love with this place!! The ambiance is pure funk and I am totally down for a place without tv's!! Arrived in DTH for a TDY. Very interesting burgers and adult malts. I got the Wompling with Beef Fat Fries. The fries come with an aioli caddy- ketchup/mustard/mayo, garlic/dill, cilantro/lime/jalapeño, garlic/habanero. Everything was fabulous!! I would probably give the food here a 4 or 5 stars. But service gets 2 stars. It was a busy Friday night but we were able to be seated pretty quickly. Server took our order and a bit later our apps came out. We had the mustard chicken wings, which were unique and very tasty. The beef fat frying added incredible flavor. I believe we were maybe supposed to get blue cheese with them, but none was brought. We also had the peruvian cauliflower which was AMAZING but the serving size for $12 left a lot to be desired. Sad because I could have eaten my weight in this. Here's where things went down hill. We sat a long, long time waiting for our burgers (Paul B'Onion for me which was good, a french dip for him which was meh). We watched tables after ours getting their food. Our server came over and wanted us to pay....but we still hadn't gotten our food. She went back to the kitchen and came back with a small plate of fries (which were delicious - especially with the sauces on the table!) and explained that something went wrong and our food would be out shortly. It came and everything was good.... UNTIL. She brought the payment thing over to pay (didn't give us a bill) and we paid + tip + 5% fee (for the kitchen?) A bit of head math and we realized it was super expensive. Checked the email bill and we were charged twice for both our sandwiches. Call the server over and try to get it straightened out. She came back and said the manager had taken the double charges off BUT - she still received a tip on the full bill AND the extra bit of 5% charge. It probably came out to less than $10, but just felt really shady and not how it should have been done (especially since the service wasn't great and she certainly didn't deserve the extra tip!) Watch your bills and you should have a pretty good time here.I read more

This place was great! Waitress was very attentive, the food delicious. We had the dill cheese curds - very tasty. I had the Paul B'Onion which was a smash burger with top the tator dip, potato chips, and pickled red onions. I'd say my only feedback is less top the tator - keep it on the top or bottom. Hope to come back someday to try the Korean fried chicken wings. read more

We stopped at Burger Paradox after a long day of work and traveling to Duluth for a mini-vacation. We tried the KBBQ Sprouts and Korean Fried Wings (Gochujang, Garlic Buffalo, and Mango Habanero). Wings are big, and we had leftovers of each. The sprouts and gochujang wings were my favorite, but they were ALL good! Staff are great and super friendly, and the ambiance was really chill. The place was busy but it wasn't loud enough that I couldn't hear my husband, so that was nice, too! Highly recommend and will absolutely be back. read more

Placed an order to go, it was ready about 10 minutes before we made it there so I got the Paul b'onion and picked the chips off and ate those immediately because they were already a bit soggy. Overall the burger was fantastic, even later as leftovers. The Brussel sprouts.... I cannot emphasize this ENOUGH. Get them. You will be sad when they are gone and you DEFINITELY do not want to share... I would go back here every time I stop in Duluth just for the brussel sprouts. Also tried the dragons blood wings, they were good, quite spicy and I also believe they have removed these from their menu, we just got the last of the sauce they had for them :D read more

What a fun spot to eat. There's lots of graffiti and art on the walls. Purple drip lights over the bar. We had excellent service on a later Friday night dinner. We loved all of the vegetarian options! Started with the dill cheese curds and the corn ribs were my favorite! That chimichurri sauce is excellent. They need to bottle it as well. The other fun sauces they had were a spicy one, a fresh cilantro one, a fry sauce, plus a malt vinegar dill sauce which I really enjoyed! I kept with the appetizer theme and chose the blueberry barbecue wings. The sauce was sweet with just a hint of blueberry. The only part I didn't expect was they were a breaded wing which are not my favorite. My dinner companions had a veggie burger with cheese and the cauliflower wings which were both excellent! My son had the top the tater burger with potato chips on it which was excellent! He chose the brussel sprouts as his side with a soy sauce topping. I was a bit disappointed in the sprouts because they were left whole and didnt seem cooked all the way. I was hoping for smaller pieces with more crunchy bits. Aside from a few preferences overall an excellent meal in an interesting space with great servers. read more

We went for dinner on Mother's Day, I think this was the third time we've come in. It was busy and everything was great. The kids had a grilled cheese and a corn dog, both came with fries and a juice barrel. I had a special burger, umami mommy which had mushrooms and it was awesome! Our server was friendly and personable. The kids enjoyed the artwork on the walls. We also split a couple malts for dessert and both were great! read more

Unique find for Duluth. Had the Paul B-onion burger, KBBQ Sprouts, and Gochujang wings. Would recommend.

Another great meal. I ordered the Paul B'onion (bonus points for the chips and pretzel bun). The beef fat fries will never let you down and if you are feeling extra get the cauliflower, they are *chef's kiss* Street parking is available out front and is free on weekends (during the off season). Beware they are a Pepsi establishment. read more

In my book easily best burger in Duluth hands down love the Brussel sprouts instead of fries

Ordered takeout tonight and watched the guy packing takeout orders pry open burgers and touch food with bare ungloved hands trying to figure out which burgers where for what orders. Other staff also noticed but didn't comment. Gross and unsanitary. Kitchen was clean but FOH is not! Was in a rush as I had to get back to work so just tossed the items I saw touched. On a camping/hiking trip to the state parks south of Duluth my wife and I ventured a little more North for lunch and a cocktail as a reward for the hike. We had read some good reviews and decided to give it a whirl. We were there a little late for lunch and so the place was pretty quiet. We got to chat with our server a fair bit. He was super friendly and excited for us for our fall foliage hikes and our Vikre cocktail after lunch. He was very thorough in telling us about the sauces and menu items and checked back frequently to see if we had any needs or dessert after our meal. Speaking of the meal...fabulous! I got the Wompling-Beef and pork seasoned with fresh garlic and ginger, scallion cream cheese, carrot daikon slaw, pickled jalapeños, Fresno jam and wontons on a grilled pretzel bun and a side of beef fat fries. My wife got the K-SWISS shaved beef, onions, marinated mushrooms, Swiss cheese, garlic parmesean sauce on a hoagie roll with Korean Brussel sprouts. Everything was so flavorful we wished we had more room to eat more! read more
