Super satisfied with food, service and coffee. I had the breakfast Burrito with bacon. It had very fresh ingredients and was not greasy whatsoever, I can only conclude all other menu items would also be perfectly executed. The ambiance was very modern and clean with booths separated by higher walls for privacy or if you wish you could sit at their inside or outside tables or the bar, which offers cocktails along with their coffee creations.

    Caesar- Yum!

The place was busy ! But we found a table right away - great coffee and ceasars to start! The menu was with ingredients that were regionally sourced, simple, but unique too. service was great and we will definitely be back!

The coffee and food were amazing! I had the feta breakfast bowl which was so delicious with fresh herbs. Will definitely be back!

The maple latte is to die for. Every time I go I can't wait until I can get back for another. Bummed that the French toast was off the menu with my last visit.

Delish! We had breakfast - all 4 of us had different dishes and everyone loved their meal. Service was slow, but we didn't mind.

We stayed upstairs in the Airbnb . Came down for coffee. Nice place, good coffee. The owner takes it seriously, and it shows.

Delicious coffee and great location when staying downtown. Can order a limited selection of to-go items from the kitchen next door.

Overpriced for mediocre food and drink. Staff was very pleasant, however food left us not feeling great. Cute decor

Rally good coffee. Not for the Starbucks crowd. They have some unique blends. Service was good, food looked good but didn't have any.

Hands-down, the coolest cocktail bar in Duluth. Anytime I have friends visiting town. This is where…read moreI take them for a unique experience and wonderful drinks. It's a type of cocktail bar that definitely seems like it belongs in LA or NYC. It's a small spot, but there is about a 10 person bar, couches and lounge seating inside and then there are some tables out on the smaller back patio. It's also located above a very cool boutique outdoor store and there is a hostel located in the same building that partners to do boundary water trips, which is so fun. The cocktails are all unique, come in fun cups, and there is a large selection of items - so something for everybody. It's fun to watch the bartender make all the various craft cocktails and it keeps everything interactive and fun. I've tried a few different cocktails as I like to get something different each time and they always hit. We all enjoyed our drinks and sitting on the cozy couches, relaxing, and taking our time chatting. We ordered the stop and smell the flowers (it had chartreuse in it, which is very hard to come by in this day and after speaking with the bartender, he said that they have actually two bottles at a time each month, which is very impressive!), zero Italian spritz, and the jungle bird.

This is one of those comfortable sized bars where you can get to know other people if you want or sit in a corner or at the corner of the bar and mind your own. Can't wait to come back.

Inside this old, under-renovation building is a gem of a restaurant and bar. While it likely is known for its pizza, it has a wide variety of items on the menu. It also has a full bar. It offers high top seating with banquet style seating in a dining area off the bar. It is decorated with photos of old Hollywood stars. Our group tried a little of everything during our visit. Fish fry, chicken Parmesan sandwich, meatloaf, pizza and a chicken sandwich were ordered by the group. One member of the group said his chicken Parmesan was the best he'd ever had. The meatloaf was huge and extremely flavorful. The pizza was really tasty and the chicken sandwich was...a chicken sandwich. Personally, I had the fish fry (offered on Friday and Saturday nights). It could be prepared three ways. I took the house special corn meal. I received a hearty portion. Like all meals eaten, it came out hot and well prepared. I eat a lot and the four piece meal was not only delicious, but filling. My drinks were nicely priced and mixed nicely by our busy server. She and the cook appeared to be the only staff working during our visit. Overall, we worked past the construction and enjoyed a very good meal at a reasonable price. We will definitely return in the future.

The service was…read morefantastic--our server was knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with explaining portion sizes for sharing. This is an upscale tapas menu, expect small plates and a surprising mix of delightful, seasonal flavors. We enjoyed the trio of dips, our favorite was the muhammara--roasted pepper and walnut with citrus and pomegranate seeds. We added on an extra pita to soak up every bite. Next was the dolma, a delicious combo of flavors and twist on the traditional. The kale salad was perfectly dressed and grilled peach added just the right sweet contrast. The Lake Trout with couscous was outstanding but my favorite part of the plate was the chermoula--a tangy, herby olive oil concoction that I must replicate. The chef came by to talk to us and answer our questions. We each enjoyed a signature cocktail, I highly recommend the Limonada 75, an Italian take on the French 75 with limoncello. We wrapped up our experience sharing the Olive Oil Cake with a rhubarb compote and generous dollop of fresh whipped cream. We will absolutely be back, we have to try the halloumi, which was unavailable, and the pasta at the table next to us looked tasty. There was also plenty of variety for a vegetarian/pescatarian to choose from. Alto Pino is expensive, but worth it. A dinner shared between three people including sharing 4 small plates, dessert, drink, and 20%+ tip came out to about $70 each. You are also paying for the experience of tasting something new and unlike anything else offered in Duluth. Reservations were easy to make online, you should make yours today! PS I'd love to see their twist on traditional Spanish tapas like patatas bravas or pan con tomate on the menu!
