This restaurant came highly recommended by our friends so we decided to give a it a try on a Tuesday morning. Luckily, the wait was not long. We came at the right time. I will say that everyone at the restaurant was very friendly, from the hostess to our waitress. My husband and I decided to share the Farmers Feast and we went with the dill smashed potatoes and the Korean Brussel sprouts as our sides. I will say the Brussel sprouts were killer sides! So delicious! One of our friends went with the pork belly Benedict. The pork belly certainly did the dish justice. I can see myself dining at this place on a regular basis but seeing that we're out of towners, it's something the locals will have to enjoy without us. :-) read more

This place is very popular and we can see why! We arrived just 10 minutes after they opened and it was already pretty busy. Come early if you don't want to wait! We were warmly greeted when we walked through the door. Everyone that we interacted with was super friendly. Aiden was our server and we felt lucky to have him. He seems to really enjoy his job, enjoy people and loves the food they serve. He walked us through the menu and shared his favorites. They have a very interesting menu with some options you don't typically see on breakfast menus. Don went with Aiden's favorites: miso pork belly eggs Benedict with the sticky bun. Both had great depths of flavor. I ordered the multigrain pancake griddle platter with bacon and eggs. Very delicious and the bacon is excellent! The pancake is quite large so I'm taking half home to warm up for breakfast tomorrow. The food came out hot within 10 minutes of ordering. Aiden checked on us a few times and seemed genuinely pleased that we were enjoying our breakfast so much. What a great Duluth foodie experience! read more

My partner was visiting MN for the first time so I was happy to show him Duluth and eat at this restaurant Our waitress was amazing and earned a huge tip from my parents. My food was great and the portions are huge. A bit of an off shoot but get the roasted Brussel sprouts! You won't regret it. Started with a maple oat milk latte-comes in an oversized mug and piping hot. The maple is a delish addition on a fall day. I ordered the bleuwich for my entree. It's a nicely breaded piece of chicken on a brioche bun with blue cheese dressing. My side was smashed potatoes. Seriously it was one of the best meals I've had in awhile! Absolutely fantastic breakfast. My Lamb Eggs Benedict was top two (tied for first place) of all the Eggs Benedict I've had in my 56 years roaming this planet. Holy buckets. That was literally the best meal we've had in Duluth. Wow! Corned beef hash, eggs perfect to order with hollandaise sauce. Got the Korean Brussel Sprouts. They have these Korean brussel sprouts that my sister has raved about for years, so I finally got to try them and they are a lot better than I had ever imagined! Duluth Grill is worth the wait. They don't take reservations, so I would suggest getting your name on their wait list, especially during their weekend service. I've been twice for brunch and the staff were beyond friendly on both occasions, pleasantly chatting with us as we decided on our orders. I went with the breakfast melt per recommendation on my first visit and was not disappointed. Thick cut grilled sourdough holds soft scrambled eggs, melty pepper jack cheese, two thick, flavorful sausage patties, and sweet and savory maple bacon jam. So delightful! On my second occasion, I opted for the breakfast burrito - gigantic! I think it was suffering from one too many components with chorizo, scrambled eggs, hash browns, cotija cheese, tortilla strips, guac, salsa verde, sour cream, and pico - just a lot going on. I was a little bummed that the tortilla wasn't grilled or pan fried as a cold flour tortilla doesn't really do it for me. It was still delicious though and the addition of the tortilla strips added nice crunch. We also split a caramel roll saturated in sweet caramel sauce and topped with chopped pecans balancing out the perfectly soft and sugary interior. I would easily come back to Duluth Grill for the variety of menu options and excellent service in a welcoming and cozy space. Our server was kind, attentive, and had good suggestions. Their menu is vast - so many tempting options! DRINKS: They offer a few kinds of bloody mary's multiple brunch cocktails, unique mimosa flavors, cider, shrub, lemonade, multiple coffees, smoothies, and teas. We opted for the DG Soother tea and it was so delicious! Served with honey and lemon, in a small glass teapot. FOOD: It was SO hard to pick! They offer omelets, skillets, vegan options, benedicts, a few biscuits and gravy options, and several plates - including unique offerings like leeky waffles, custard french toast, and chicken and pancakes. There are breakfast sammies, burritos, lunch sandwiches, tacos, bowls and salads if you prefer a more lunch menu. We got the everything skillet, corned beef hash skillet, and OG benedict. All was delicious! I was expecting a bit bigger of a portion that I picture from a brunch diner, but it was probably the right (healthy) portion and we didn't have to take leftovers with us. They have specialty hot sauces on the tables (like 6 of them!) that we had a lot of fun trying. They sell their darling mugs, the hot sauce, and other merch onsite that was fun to look through. From the Adirondack chairs out front or the outdoor tables around the side to the ample expressive seating inside we felt instant relief we had picked a good place. Anni was perfect, friendly and obviously a competent experienced server, making a few suggestions and explanations we picked the Huevos skillet and the Breakfast Melt with Chilequiles as the side. The sandwich came on fresh local sourdough with hand formed local sausage. My skillet had in house chorizo, black beans, fried tortilla chips with two eggs on top. This place was well worth the half hour wait. We were seated at the bar & that was so fun. Our server, Lilian, was the absolute best! She was so nice, as were all of them behind the bar. Hubby had the Meat Lover's Omelet w/Korean BBQ Brussel Sprouts. Those brussels were served w/ soyoli, cilantro, & a lime & were amazing! They make all their sauces & purees from scratch, as well as most of the food. I had the Griddle Platter with sausage & she suggested I sub the French toast with the Cinnamon roll French toast. It was excellent. The only downside was that we were seated below an AC vent which chilled our meals very quickly. We found this place on the way out of town, and were so pleasantly surprised at the Korean influenced entrees! They were SOI good too. I had the curry bowl with the Brussel sprouts subbed fro meat and my friend had the Bimibop. Both were excellent. Our server, Lindsay was Just AMAZING. So attentive and had such good advice and suggestions and knew all about the menu in detail. Really great service. Cant say enough good stuff about her. The others who seated us and brought water were also awesome. The whole staff appeared to be very positive and upbeat. I got the Korean Toast with a side of Korean Brussel Sprouts. My bf got the Medieval Gyros with a side of our servers *fave*, the banana parfait. Food was super filling and big enough we had to take the rest to go.
