We all loved dipping our sandwiches in this delicious soup

The food was really tasty! Our favorites were the chicken BBQ bacon toasty, tomato basil soup (some of the best we had), and the chicken Gouda apple. The ambiance and service speed could have been better, but the food hit the spot and was enjoyed by the entire family! Sandwiches and soup could be for dine in or to-go. The building has no trash so there was 10 tables sitting with the leftover trash from the previous customers which felt a little weird that nothing could be cleaned up self service or why it wasn't getting picked up on going. Overall, I'd recommend this place and at lunch time expect ~15min for your food to come.

Steak Tastic with Bruschetta Salad. Amazing food in the Duluth area! Great place to stop if you're hungry for authentic homemade food!

Amazing place to stop for authentic food that won't leave you hungry in a couple hours. Not to mention the prices here are unbeatable! Add this stop to your next Duluth trip I promise you won't be disappointed! :))

This sandwich shop was adorable! You order at the counter & then they have SO much seating and bring your food to you! They have ADA accessible seating and seating upstairs! The sandwhich was a typical sandwich but supporting a local business is always great :) Would definitely recommend!

Stopped here for lunch after reading some reviews. It was quite busy when we came so seating wasn't very plentiful downstairs and some empty tables were dirty as there's not a place to put your trash when you're done or place your containers and glasses. There appears to be an upstairs but we weren't aware of that and didn't check it out and think signage should be available. It's cozy inside with minimal decorations. I digress.....we ordered at the counter which was a pretty quick process and proceeded to put together a few tables for the 6 of us. We waited a bit for our food but it wasn't a hugely long wait. The food was great! Toasted sandwiches with your choice of bread and chips. Loved the flavors and it wasn't overwhelming portions. All in all a nice place to stop for lunch.

Second page - I got the gyro burger. Good choice.

And I quote "Any sandwich can be made gluten or dairy free for a small additional charge!" Yes ! And it was delicious. I got the gyro burger sandwich and it was flavorful and awesome. I may have been tempted to lick the bowl of my tomato basil soup... The environment is simple and clean, you can get a glass of beer or wine with your meal - it's perfect for someone that is looking for a grown up sandwich shop they could take their kids to.

Amazing wheat bread nice and toasty

The French Onion soup is very good. I've also had the Philly Dilly. Also very good. Love the fact that they use organic.

I saw they have frozen pretzels- which is perfect because I didn't want to eat it right now. I got two of those to go. I also got a blueberry danish for my husband- he approved! And two loaves of bread- the cheese curd and the rosemary onion in the one pound option. (They have a two pound and it's huge!) We enjoyed the bread toasted with butter and for avocado toast during the week. They offered to slice the rosemary onion bread but not the cheese curd- there's something about the cheese curd that they said they don't slice it. I can't remember. But it's fine/ we sliced our own. The pecan rolls and the cinnamon rolls looked amazing but I'm more of a savory gal. The shop was super cute. They have a sourdough class coming up. They have coffees and couches. Bathrooms for customers. Some merchandise for sale. They even have a monthly club where you can pick up or have your items delivered to you! Wow! I wish I lived in the area just for this bakery. I enjoyed reading about the business on their website/ two brothers!

Fresh, locally sourced and delicious menu options, fast and hospitable service!…read more We were worried that the wait time would be long but it was just long enough to enjoy the outdoor garden boxes and sun. Even though we are visiting Duluth during this crazy time of the wild fires, Duluth Grill made our trip worth it! They have a streamlined process for getting seated, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and local area. My family ordered the usual staples: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, and bacon/eggs/sausage. All were hearty portions and perfectly prepped. I tried the "Triple B" which turns out to be a Midwest version of Bibimbop. Made with manoomin (wild rice), beef/pork mix, kimchi, marinated kale- probably my fave of the dish. The combo is a deliciously perfect power meal to start any day and weekend right! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the care they take in procuring local ingredients- even their kale and some herbs are from their own lil garden. I highly recommend the Duluth Grill, there's something for everyone! We will definitely stop by on our next trip out to Duluth.

We had checked reviews and saw there were some reviews indicating this restaurant was not as good as it used to be. We decided to see for ourselves as the menu, other positive reviews sounded like it was an incredibly good place to go. It is. It was. It was busy, being a Sunday morning especially, but the staff was handling it all well from our perspective . I used to manage restaurants a long time ago and was impressed with the flow. Our waitress, Natalie, was delightful, knew the menu well to describe and answer questions, and we were not wanting for anything. She checked on us, always grinning and managing the iace well. I had the banana bread pancakes. A perfect choice ! They came and looked like a picture stacked up and flowing down with Carmel, maple bourbon syrup, marzcapone cream and nuts. So delicious. I took half home and enjoyed the rest later. Heated up perfectly with a 20 second zap in micro. My son had the corn beef hash skillet and said his was just as good as mine. We both agreed that we had no idea why reviews were negative, especially going on a busy morning. We will be going back every time we visit. I recommend you do too.
