Cappuccino coffee is the best

This place is amazing. I recommend it. It's good for kids. I bring my granddaughter and she was so happy happy ice cream is delicious. They make excellent crêpes. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

The service was amazing and the cafe was decorated so cute for Valentine's Day. We went on a snowy day and it was so cozy and nice. I can't wait to come back!

Saturday evening 09/28 I called in a pick-up order for a crepe & milkshake the lady gave herself a 20% tip w/o my consent & then told me the receipt had a couple more questions so I could tip her more & I did tip $3 more since I was unaware they tipped themselves so it should've been $26 but I paid $8 in tip for picking up an order & paid $35

The food and ambience of the restaurant is great, but it's pretty hot during the summer time since their A/C doesn't work.

This is one of the cutest cafes I have seen in a long time! The food looks as good as it tastes! So many choices of coffee, milkshakes and other beverages. The staff was beyond nice and helpful. This is one of the places I need to stop by when I am in the area. Instagram worthy!!! I had the coco cappuccino and a salad. My friend had chilaquiles and a vanilla licuado. Everything was so good! Looking forward to trying other menu items.

Dulce Mami 5612 W 35th location This place is a very cute and appealing restaurant. As soon as you walk up to it you have a choice of sitting outside or inside (depending on weather). It's has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. You can hear Gerardo Ortiz playing on the speaker and gives you the warm grandma/mom cooking in the kitchen vibes. The Ladies here are very sweet and ran to me to seat me. Reminds me of my grandma's house where I was the favorite. I ordered the Chilaqueles verdes con huevos y carne. The chilaqueles were amazing and had the perfect texture everywhere. You had parts that were crispy, semi-soft, and soft due to the savory sauce bath. The heat was at a 5-6 from 1-10. Just enough to do the trick! The plating of it was amazing as well. They drizzled the sour cream all over and not just a glob of it in the middle. Sprinkled fresh cheese all over it and just enough so you can taste everything else. The eggs were next to the perfect and not over cooked or flavorless. Creamy egg yolk that blends well with the salsa verde. It also came with bread that was buttered and toasted on the grill and you can taste it. They even cut it into a shape of a heart. Over all, this place is amazing and makes you feel welcomed and you will leave here sooo happy and ready for a nap. Thank you ladies for the Dulce experience!!!

This cafe offers a good variety of food and drinks, all which are very yummy! I love the decorations and atmosphere, they make you feel so welcome! Definitely making this my go to spot !

Bubblegum Latte

DELICIOUS food, nice staff, cute interior! I had the chilaquiles and they were to die for. They also have unique flavors for coffees/milkshakes; I got a bubble gum latte and it was fabulous! Super reasonably priced too. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back!!

Went to their new establishment on 51st. I was really excited one was opening closer to home. Stopped in for a mocha iced latte and fruit oatmeal. I will say portion size is a amount for the price, but lacks in quality. Latte I want to say it's just warm Chocolate milk. No taste of coffee and a few ice cubes. Fruit oatmeal should be advertised as oatmeal with a hint of fruit. It took about 10 minutes to get oatmeal and milk. Overall unsatisfied. I know it's a new establishment training to make proper latte is necessary and if the menu says fruit and oatmeal a proper fruit portion is expected.

Deciding on a star rating for this one was tricky. The prices are kind of insane, so I was really…read moreleaning toward a 3. But, I'm a sucker for whimsy, so I decided to be generous. I met a friend here for brunch--I hadn't heard of the place but when we were looking for a halfway point, she discovered this restaurant. I'm glad that I took my preschooler with me because there were so many fun bits. The place is elegant, but playful and full of whimsy. It feels like a place made for a princess. The food was good, but overpriced, so you're paying for that fanciful meal. They only had one item in the kid's section, and it was more expensive than items for adults often are--$19 for a kid's item. Truly wild. Since it was questionable if my daughter would eat the ham or eggs, I opted to get the breakfast board for the table since it had waffles, pancakes, and fruit. She was ecstatic when she saw it, and I was charmed by the presentation--it's October, so they had decorated it in a Halloween theme. They also had a Halloween menu, and the witches brew looked good, but we all stuck to the standard menu for our meal. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and it was very good, but again, overpriced I think. Mocktails are almost always too high (why am I paying alcohol prices for drinks without alcohol?) but I got one for my daughter and I anyway. Again, this restaurant knocks it out of the park with regards to presentation. They had a lot of seating indoors, and there were tons of tables outside as well. I'm not sure if they were totally following the 90-minute rule today because even though it was a beautiful Sunday at the beginning of October, we were seated immediately and there were tables available both in and outdoors the entire time we were there. But anyway, be forewarned that they have a time limit for tables, so you don't want to spend forever making your decision. There's no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, so you'll be looking at the surrounding streets or the couple lots that are nearby. No reservations accepted.

The lattes were rich and robust, and my husband's hot chocolate was sweet and luscious! I ordered a savory poblano crepe and added shrimp - it was delicious - while my husband ordered a sweet one. The ambiance can be described as nothing other than...REGAL. Just grand, and beautiful - you feel like you're surrounded by luxury. Even the hot sauce is dispensed in these cute glass bottles. And the service matches the regality - everyone is super attentive! Love this and we will be back - not just for the ambiance but also for the food.

I really like all their creative touches now to the drinks. this time I didn't order any food but the chaquilis Mexican dish I forget how you say it. it looks really really yummy. I ordered an iced pistachio latte with pistachio cold foam and then I asked them to put pistachio cream and the nuts around the rim of the glass and it was life-changing. it was so yummy! my friend ordered a boba tea and she really liked hers too. it was the first time that I saw boba tea with whipped cream on it but I wasn't mad about it. it looks super good. I can't wait to come back and have another pistachio latte and hopefully they bring back the cereal Lucky charms latte because that look like it was insanely good.

She took our order quickly, but we waited quite some time to get our drinks and food. Our drinks came at the same time as the food, so we sat there for quite a while without even water at the table. I also found it odd that the water cups were styrofoam...just a bit inconsistent. Also not all the members of the group enjoyed their food. One of the plates was completely cold. Not sure I would go back.

A nostalgic trip down memory lane capped off with the perfect French repas!…read more After a morning annual doctor visit and purchasing new shoes (several!  lol), I sought out a savory, romantically tantalizing culinary escape to cap off the beautiful day and enjoy the extraordinary weather.  La Crêperie was the absolute perfect choice. I have frequented this beloved space since I was 16 years old, and stepping inside always brings back the most wonderfully endearing and captivating memories.  Being an empath, I naturally and deeply feel people, their energies, and the layers of memories attached to a place.  These romantic, lovely emotions are drawn to me repeatedly as I encounter these historic spaces and the familiar people within. This historic Lincoln Park/Lakeview border gem has such a quaint, enchanting, and delicate French bistro atmosphere that remains beautifully unchanged.  Sitting down to take in the vintage Parisian charm with the front bifold windows open, letting in the gentle evening breeze, was pure bliss. The food was absolutely sensational.  We started with the classic Escargots (snails prepared in a rich garlic butter sauce), the Assiette de Pates (a wonderful sampling of three distinct pates served traditionally with cornichons and dijon mustard), two Salade Maison plates (crisp romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and crunchy croutons all tossed in their delicious house vinaigrette maison), and a bowl of their rich French onion soup. For our main courses, I had the exquisite Fruits de Mer crêpe (a luscious, delicious, and creamy crêpe packed with scallops and shrimp in a béchamel sauce) while my companion thoroughly enjoyed the Boeuf Bourguignon crêpe (tender beef braised with burgundy, mushrooms, carrots, and celery). We then finished the evening by splitting two sweet crêpes for dessert.  We ordered one customized crêpe filled half with strawberries and half with bananas (a simple, perfect classic combo with whipped cream on top that I have been getting for years), alongside La Pomme (delicious apples sautéed in butter and cinnamon).  Everything was beautifully prepared and exactly the kind of comforting yet tantalizing culinary experience I was craving to celebrate a successful day. Our incredibly sweet server, Anastasiia, accidentally brought two bowls of soup, but despite my repeated insistence to pay, she firmly and graciously comped the extra one. Between the excellent dishes, Anastasiia's stellar service, the vintage charm, and the spectacular weather, it was the ultimate way to top off my afternoon.  It truly provided a gentle, delicate, and beautifully feminine cap to my day, balancing the romantically sensual energy of this beloved space. I highly recommend stopping by for an authentic taste of Parisian charm right here in the city!

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

There were not a lot of non-dairy options on here, so I had to get creative. I ordered the Smoked Salmon sandwich on a bagel. There were only three bagel options: Plain, Everything, and I forgot the last one! Because I had to get it without cream cheese, I got it with lettuce and onion added, which was an extra $0.55. When my order came out, it was a really sad sandwich. There was only a thin slice of smoked salmon and a sparse amount of sun-dried tomatoes. I was hoping for fresh tomatoes, but the menu didn't specify what kind of tomatoes. It would have been nice to also get red onions for a sandwich like this, but instead, I got white onions. My husband enjoyed the crepe he got, but I agree with the other review, it was soaked in Nutella and other various sauces. It was too sweet. There seemed to be enough employees around where they could wipe off the tables as well.
