The service was amazing and the cafe was decorated so cute for Valentine's Day. We went on a snowy day and it was so cozy and nice. I can't wait to come back!

Saturday evening 09/28 I called in a pick-up order for a crepe & milkshake the lady gave herself a 20% tip w/o my consent & then told me the receipt had a couple more questions so I could tip her more & I did tip $3 more since I was unaware they tipped themselves so it should've been $26 but I paid $8 in tip for picking up an order & paid $35

The food and ambience of the restaurant is great, but it's pretty hot during the summer time since their A/C doesn't work.

This is one of the cutest cafes I have seen in a long time! The food looks as good as it tastes! So many choices of coffee, milkshakes and other beverages. The staff was beyond nice and helpful. This is one of the places I need to stop by when I am in the area. Instagram worthy!!! I had the coco cappuccino and a salad. My friend had chilaquiles and a vanilla licuado. Everything was so good! Looking forward to trying other menu items.

Dulce Mami 5612 W 35th location This place is a very cute and appealing restaurant. As soon as you walk up to it you have a choice of sitting outside or inside (depending on weather). It's has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. You can hear Gerardo Ortiz playing on the speaker and gives you the warm grandma/mom cooking in the kitchen vibes. The Ladies here are very sweet and ran to me to seat me. Reminds me of my grandma's house where I was the favorite. I ordered the Chilaqueles verdes con huevos y carne. The chilaqueles were amazing and had the perfect texture everywhere. You had parts that were crispy, semi-soft, and soft due to the savory sauce bath. The heat was at a 5-6 from 1-10. Just enough to do the trick! The plating of it was amazing as well. They drizzled the sour cream all over and not just a glob of it in the middle. Sprinkled fresh cheese all over it and just enough so you can taste everything else. The eggs were next to the perfect and not over cooked or flavorless. Creamy egg yolk that blends well with the salsa verde. It also came with bread that was buttered and toasted on the grill and you can taste it. They even cut it into a shape of a heart. Over all, this place is amazing and makes you feel welcomed and you will leave here sooo happy and ready for a nap. Thank you ladies for the Dulce experience!!!

DELICIOUS food, nice staff, cute interior! I had the chilaquiles and they were to die for. They also have unique flavors for coffees/milkshakes; I got a bubble gum latte and it was fabulous! Super reasonably priced too. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back!!

Went to their new establishment on 51st. I was really excited one was opening closer to home. Stopped in for a mocha iced latte and fruit oatmeal. I will say portion size is a amount for the price, but lacks in quality. Latte I want to say it's just warm Chocolate milk. No taste of coffee and a few ice cubes. Fruit oatmeal should be advertised as oatmeal with a hint of fruit. It took about 10 minutes to get oatmeal and milk. Overall unsatisfied. I know it's a new establishment training to make proper latte is necessary and if the menu says fruit and oatmeal a proper fruit portion is expected.

It's an amazing place with incredible costumer service. Food is incredibly delicious and the portions are big enough to share. Found parking right in front. They take Apple Pay making it easy to pay. Definitely coming back

First time customer review: I loved the cute aesthetic of this place. The place is small and seems to be constantly busy. The kitchen is an open concept, you can see all of the great looking food being made. The menu is limited for a small establishment, which makes it easy to decide what you want and get in and out of there. I ordered a caramel Rompope latte and chilaquiles. They were both delicious. My husband ordered an omelette which he also raved about. Please keep in mind that this is a small establishment, I read reviews prior to coming and everyone seemed to complain about the wait time. You can't really expect fast food chain speediness when you're getting food made to order. Be patient and courteous. The staff was extremely helpful in trying to getting us seated and our order taken. We waited for a table and while we waited they offered menus. Overall, our experience was positive. We cannot wait to return.

Every time we go in, we're asked if we have a reservation (big sighs if we don't - even if the place is nearly empty). We don't often reserve here because there is a nonrefundable fee of I believe $10 per person, and we've never had to wait more than a few minutes. Plus, the street is full of great food options we could just move on to if needed. Now, why DO we go back: we really love the food & drinks because they're a bit more fancy than we're going to make at home. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered here, items are unique, and the presentation is just lovely on food and drinks. The place is absolutely adorable whether you sit inside or outside (one of our guests described it as American Girl Cafe for grown ups with the fancy chandeliers & gold trim) Servers are usually incredibly nice, only a couple times have they been the opposite. Saw someone mentioned only 2 savory options - that may have been only 2 they considered, but there are several more savory choices, including vegetarian. They also have seasonal specials, with lots of options kids will love, too. I get the shrimp crepe almost every time - the tastes are incredible and while it looks like a light serving, I can never finish the whole thing. I also tried an old fashioned - vintage steam powered car presentation and all. It was a delightful, well balanced version of that drink. This is a place we often bring guests visiting us in OP because it's unique. Some other favorites from the menu: chicken tinga crepe, shredded steak crepe, then Cajeta y Nuez, pistachio sweet crepes, mocktails, & cold coffee drinks. Eventually, we'll try the non-crepe options, too. Overpriced? Yes, absolutely, but it's also a charming place on a busy corner location where it's fun to people watch while dining. Also knowing the cost going in, we're prepared for the bill.

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

There were not a lot of non-dairy options on here, so I had to get creative. I ordered the Smoked Salmon sandwich on a bagel. There were only three bagel options: Plain, Everything, and I forgot the last one! Because I had to get it without cream cheese, I got it with lettuce and onion added, which was an extra $0.55. When my order came out, it was a really sad sandwich. There was only a thin slice of smoked salmon and a sparse amount of sun-dried tomatoes. I was hoping for fresh tomatoes, but the menu didn't specify what kind of tomatoes. It would have been nice to also get red onions for a sandwich like this, but instead, I got white onions. My husband enjoyed the crepe he got, but I agree with the other review, it was soaked in Nutella and other various sauces. It was too sweet. There seemed to be enough employees around where they could wipe off the tables as well.
