Large pizza (they have M, L, XL). It's a conveyor belt pizza made by teenagers, but it is CRISP with good ingredients.
TJ B.

They should sell slices. They need large slices from a large house sized pie. No slices though... they just tell you to get a small pie. For a place in a busy shopping center and now across the lot from a brewery, it would be so nice to just walk in, grab a slice, and immediately walk out with it vs. waiting 15+ minutes. The pizza is conveyor belt pizza made by teenagers, but it is crisp and with good ingredients. It could be a lot worse and the best option in town since a soundfront place closed a few years ago. It is a very convenient food option from the Duck Dive Bar. They'll give you a remote that will work from the brewery so you know when food is ready. It'd be even better if you could order direct from the Duck Dive Bar bartenders. You'll enjoy the pizza unless you are a NY/NJ pizza snob (like me) or Dave Portnoy fan. Then it is what he calls "football pizza". Good To-go pizza to enjoy with a game

As someone from just outside New Haven, CT--the (albeit, self-proclaimed) pizza capital--I don't say this lightly: Duck Pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. I am gluten free and am constantly disappointed by the pizza options I find, but Duck Pizza knocked it out of the park. Their gluten-free crust was not only delicious fresh out of the oven, but somehow just as good cold the next day (the true test!). The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating--truly going out of their way to be kind and welcome us to the town. I was visiting for a week and ended up eating Duck Pizza three times--that alone should tell you how good it is. If you're gluten-free and missing out on really good pizza, or even if you're not, this place is 100% worth it. Not in a hurry? Duck Pizza is located in a great little center with some awesome local shops. I loved being able to place my order and stroll around while I waited--it turned grabbing a meal into a whole experience.

This place is fast and accurate. We placed our order and drove there and it was ready- hot and fresh. Thin crust and make sure to order them with extra sauce. Easy weeknight meal for everyone- nice they have gluten free crust and vegan cheese!

Pizza and cheesey bread was good. They made it quickly and it was coming out of the oven when we came in the door.

Great THIN pizza, we ordered mid afternoon on a Saturday for takeout and it was ready within 20 minutes!

It really couldn't have been any better. We used the call ahead seating and got sat immediately after we arrived. Shelby was our server and she was very attentive, knowledgeable about the food, alcohol and dessert menus. So sweet and friendly. Just the right amount of table touching. We noticed everyone and I mean EVERYONE (from host, bartender, other servers and the manager) work as a cohesive team. Each and every one of them stopped by at some point to pick up an empty plate, refill a drink, grab a lime off the floor that another server dropped or just to make sure we didn't need anything. We had the featured salad of the day as an appetizer - perfect amount for two. My husband had the biggest portion, best tasting lasagna he has ever had. I had the veal parmigiana. Both were plated well and look beautiful, you could tell the kitchen staff takes pride in their work. Both were delicious. We ended up taking half of it home and got the ricotta cheesecake to go (we now know we do not like ricotta cheesecake), the texture was great but it just wasn't sweet enough for us. If traditional cheesecake is too sweet for you, you would probably love it. We are hoping to have the same rental next year and will definitely be going back to La Dolce Vita. 5+ stars all around.

The atmosphere was swanky and beautiful. Our server was Jackson and he was very helpful, kind, and prompt. We will definitely return!!

I am positive anything on their sub menu would be quite tasty. They are fairly priced, and ready quickly. But, the quirks. They have prepared trays in the cooler of things like lasagna or eggplant parmigiana ready to take home and eat. You can even get a quart of gravy and a box of pasta. Unfortunately this is sort of mentioned in passing on the web site, with no details. In reality its a subset of the "catering" menu. We had to show up to understand the offering. They were also large, designed to feed a group. They really need to hi light this option on the web site better, with some pricing and pictures. I think it would be much more popular. Drink selection is small from a cooler of bottles. If they really want to push the sub business a fountain is probably a requirement. And finally. No meatball sub? That's almost criminal! However, what we did have was so good it's still a 5-star place.

Evidently they change themes pretty often along with their seasonal menu. I got stuffed gnocchi and my friend got shrimp linguine that were on the seasonal menu and they were both made from scratch and tasted like it. I can't say enough about how fabulous the food was! We also got cute cocktails with lavender which were also very well made and in a copper cup which I love. My friend got the tiramisu which was scratch made and a giant piece at 6"x6". Actually argued with me about it told me I had called the wrong restaurant, which I most definitely did not. Update ‐ i was contacted by them and Apparently it was only 3 or 4 minutes (the second time I came to the line I guess) according to the video. I guess they had no proof of the several minutes I was in the restroom and then the time it took my husband to go out and move the car and come back in to me waiting. Also the woman on the phone basically told me I called the wrong restaurant which I did not. I was and do not want a free meal that is not what this review about. The restaurant was dead. There is no excuse for us or the gentleman that was in front of us to wait when I literally opened the restaurant kitchen door and they were looking in my direction. You know I dont work there when you saw me staring in so there should of been SOMEONE come out. Even if I was told sorry we are short handed be right there. I would of been super ok with that. I guess they were talking so much they didnt hear or care ‍

First night- take out. Food was spectacular. I cannot believe how well the seafood lasagna packaged and tasted even after getting it home. Would do that again. It was the only spot they allowed dogs, which was fine. We were the only people up there which was odd. Our waiter was an absolute champ going up and down those stairs all day. Deserved a large tip. My friend went to the bar, got two drinks, and simply walked them five feet back over to me. When my friend later went back to the bar to grab napkins and straws, the blonde bartender started berating her and screaming, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT!" She even grabbed my friend by the wrist to get her point across. Completely unacceptable. I went over calmly to try to smooth things over and asked her to clarify the rule. Instead, she erupted in my face and put her hand in my face. We were genuinely trying to understand because we were visiting and had never heard of this "2 drink rule." There was absolutely no reason for this level of hostility. Rules can be explained. Customers can be corrected. You do not scream in someone's face or put your hands on them. When we left, I told the guy at the front who collects money and stamps hands what had happened. His response was basically, "Oh yeah, the girl (bartender)? Yeah, sorry." Apparently, this behavior wasn't exactly a surprise. A simple explanation would have been enough. Instead, this bartender completely ruined the vibe and made us feel incredibly unwelcome. Disgusting, hostile, and profoundly unprofessional behavior.

The food and cocktails are executed with remarkable precision, but two deserve particular mention: the crab rice and the Espresso Martini Dark. The crab rice performs that wonderful Italian trick of making something luxurious without making it precious. A seemingly humble dish is elevated into something genuinely gourmet--rich and deeply flavorful in every bite. Then comes the Espresso Martini Dark. Its pleasure lies in balance--the invigorating cold bitterness of fresh espresso against the measured sweetness of Kahlúa. Neither wins, which is precisely why the cocktail does. The bartender is equally accomplished behind the bar and in the increasingly neglected art of hospitality. Its outdoor seating has the easy elegance of a little restaurant one might stumble upon in Italy or Buenos Aires: intimate, convivial, and seemingly unconcerned with trying too hard.
