First, let me say that I have never cared for cake donuts. I prefer yeasty donuts, because almost all cake donuts I have tried have been far too dry for my tastes. That has now changed thanks to Duck Donuts. for the first time I have found a cake donut that is both moist and melt-in-your-mouth good. Add to that, having the most amazing toppings and drizzles and you have a true winner. My granddaughter brought home a dozen of these for my 75th birthday, sensing that this was one cake donut I was going to love, and she was so right. Each of the dozen was a different flavor, and apparently you can order almost any kind of combo you wish. I was amazed at the total amount of flavors that was available, and each one was tastier than the next. My particular favorites were the ones with peaches and the ones with bacon. To top it off, the toppings are generously added. I had peaches overflowing onto the bottom of the box, and we are talking about generous sized pieces of peach, not just flavoring. Now, if all that is not enough for you to head over to their establishment and take care of that sweet craving, let's add the price which is amazing for the quality of the product they produce. The price of a single donut is certainly fair for what you receive, but if you go for a half dozen or dozen the price is beyond reasonable. With a dozen, you pay less than $2 per donut. As I told my granddaughter, I felt like she was getting gold quality for a copper price. Of course, they are at their best when you eat them warm from the moment you receive them, but a brief 8 to 10 seconds in your microwave, and you'll get that same fresh melt-in-your- mouth goodness again. It's going to be hard to imagine buying donuts from anywhere else after this.

It's been about a year since I last came here and I have to say they are still super delicious. The donuts are incredibly fresh, crispy on the outside and soft/airy on the inside. I highly recommend the maple bacon flavor donut and the Cinnamon Bun! The French toast donut I had a year ago also was very delectable.

While visiting some friends in Lancaster, we had to stop by Duck Donuts, known for their "duckzillion" flavors, seasonal options, and made to order donuts! They definitely taste the best fresh out of the fryer Donuts are on the more cakey-er side. If you like to mix sweet with savory, I highly recommend their donut breakfast sandwich.

Okay, so I have never experienced a donut like this in my life. I'm pretty bummed that I live all the way across the country and won't be able to indulge in these insanely out of this world donut haven!!! Seeing the automated donut making process is pretty cool. Once the donuts are done frying, the staff work their magic with the toppings. You can curate your own coating and toppings or go with one of their recommendations. I chose the latter. Once the staff are done, they give you your hot freshly made donuts and you're on your way. Taking that first bite practically left me breathless. Lol. This spot is definitely worth the time. Enjoy and be careful, because these donuts are addictive. You. Have. Been. Warned!

Warm, delicious donuts YUM !! Made to order or order off the menu! Amazing staff, friendly and kind!! You simply feel good when coming here!!

Today I limited myself to one donut. Normally I get a half dozen, I just can't resist. Nothing beats made to order, warm donuts. The cake of the donut is fluffy and light. You can literally eat a dozen and not feel bloated afterward. There are also plenty of flavor combinations, which makes it difficult to only choose one!

Reality is you can NEVER go wrong here! Quick service, hot donuts, it doesn't get better then that! We got so excited that we dove in before taking a picture.

Oh. My! In town for the night and saw this place so I determined I would leave early enough in the morning to partake in a couple tasty treats. Dang these little suckers are good. I ordered 2: 1) Chocolate icing with roasted coconut and 2) Glaze with raspberry drizzle. Since they are made to order, they are hot and ooey-gooey delicious! I could have (and wanted to) eat a dozen so I got in my car and left before I could. I will visit again next time I am in town!

This place makes delicious donuts. They completed my customize orders pretty quick and everything was correct and tasty. Their donuts are rather light and airy compare to other places where donuts are a bit denser. Glaze, frosting are also not too sweet so they are balanced and don't overshadow the toppings. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean with cute decorations/ posters.

OKAYYY guys. Hold on to your HATS here because you will be blown away. I just recently moved to Pennsylvania and I feel like I have been living in a BUBBLE because there's no way, no one has introduced these donuts to me. I went in here & was STUNNED at the options. Completely flabbergasted because I absolutely would like to try a bacon, egg & cheese on a donut !! & yes, i would absolutely love a donut ice-cream Sunday. & you make the donuts fresh and decorate them on the spot so the donut is amazingly fresh??? Absolutely, I would love these ! Guys, did I google the locations of these so I know where they are at if I leave town? I absolutely did. I am SHOOKETH at how amazing these are. 10 of 10!!! 100% recommend. Highly. If you are a donut loverrrrr, this is your spot. If you aren't a donut lover, have a donut. I guarantee you'll love. If you STILL don't like? Well then keep that negativity away. Love these. Full disclosure: I had a donut Sunday at the store and still ordered a dozen to go. I had 2 before dinner & I regret NOTHING you hear me !!! NOTHING.

This is perhaps the most dangerous eatery in Lancaster. There aren't words to describe how amazing these doughnuts are, so I will just tell you that you should run - not walk - to Fruitville Pike to try them for yourself. And you'll be glad all that running burned off a few extra calories so you can have seconds. You can smell the sweet goodness when you walk in the door, but you'll also be greeted by a sweet and friendly staff. My first visit was a little confusing - there is a method to placing your order here, and I was unfamiliar - but the cashier walked me through it, asked a few questions about flavors I like, and made some recommendations. Essentially, you get to pick your glaze, topping, and drizzle, which can net you some pretty incredible combinations, but require a little thought before ordering. So definitely take a peak at the menu board and recommendations before you step up to place your order, and don't be shy if you have questions! My first visit, I tried the Strawberry Lemonade. It was so good that when I returned the second time, I got the lemon icing again, but tried it with a blackberry drizzle, and my daughter had a more traditional white icing with rainbow sprinkles. It was very hard not going back in to order a dozen or two to take home. The maple icing and bacon doughnut is calling to me, as is the "Beach" - vanilla icing with cinnamon sprinkled on top.

This is a tiny spot with a lot of fans, so expect a wait!…read more My husband and I came here for brunch while staying in Lancaster - we were expecting to have to wait due to how busy it was on a Saturday morning, but we were amazingly able to be seated immediately (there were 2 last spots by the door). It's not the most comfortable place due to the size, but the smells and vibes are good, so it's worth checking out. I got the blue crab benedict with potatoes and my husband got the short rib tacos. Service was quick and we were overall impressed with the food! My one gripe is that they didn't have any fun coffee drinks, just black coffee from what I saw.

I started off today so excited to come here based on the reviews. As the service progressed I could…read moresee my review ticking lower and lower. And then we found a hair. And then they charged us full price. And that was the final nail. We made a reservation for a noon brunch on a Sunday, we knew it was going to be busy and we got seated right away, amazing! And then it was down hill from there. We were seated right by the bussing station, I was staring at dirty dishes my entire meal, at one point I was hit and I spilled my entire cup of coffee all over my table and lap and had to clean it up myself. The French press itself was border line in drinkable. The grounds were too finely ground causing there to be grit throughout the entire pitcher of French press. We each had about one mug each. The food came out and my over easy eggs were over medium at best, the entire bottom of the yolk was hard through to the middle. Only one biscuit got gravy. And then once my partner finished his eggs he found a long black hair under where the eggs were. Needless to say we were very much done with The Bread Pedaler by the time this happened. We let the waitress know. She brought the check, which still included the food we didn't eat because there was a hair in it. Not wanting to start anything we just paid (still tipped 20% because I'm not a jerk) and left. I wish this was the great review I was hoping to leave. I was so excited to eat here. But this was truly one of the worst experiences I've had in years.

Introduction:…read more Representing 2018 in alphabet series, O is for On Orange. The letter O only has 5 of the 8 possible years represented in the alphabet series. Interestingly, 2 of them are in Lancaster County, PA. This was prior to my parents moving to Lancaster in 2021. In March 2018, my girlfriend of that time & I took a day trip to Lancaster. I lived in Montgomery County, Maryland (near DC) at the time, and we were meeting up with a friend who was living in New Jersey kind of in the middle. We agreed to meet at On Orange at 12 PM on that Sunday, March 25 since we were driving from far away, and I think they were doing a day trip too, but possible they stayed a night in town, not sure. Also, On Orange closes at 1 PM too, so even more reason to be punctual. My g/f of then was notoriously late & took a long time to get ready. She was taking too long to get ready, and I knew we needed to leave if we even had a chance of making it on time. After a while I said I don't want to do this, but I will leave without you & meet my friend (& his girlfriend). I started the car and texted you have 1 minute to come out, and if you aren't out, I'm leaving without you. My timer reached 0, and I slowly was driving off, but I saw her shuffling with her coat and what have you leaving, so I waited. We got in the car, and I rushed off. If that weren't bad enough, my g/f said we needed to stop at her bank to get cash. Of course, there was none right within route, but saw a location right off I-83 in northern MD, Hunt Valley, but we wasted more time to get off the freeway, for her to go to her ATM, & get back on the freeway when we were running significantly late. I said we are running significantly late as it is, so why are we wasting more time. She claimed in case there was something she wanted to buy in Lancaster, but that was not the primary purpose, but I'll get to that at the end. I was panicking on the significant late, and that the restaurant closes at 1, and I drove above 100 mph at times on I-70, which I think was the only time I've ever gone that fast on 70, and maybe only 4 times ever in my life reaching that speed. Experience with the Restaurant: This is street parking around here, which was free meters on Sunday. We got a decent parking spot a block away. We walked in at 12:50 PM, which was 50 minutes LATE and 10 minutes before On Orange's closing time of 1 PM. My friend & his girlfriend were already done eating. He said that they had their stomach set for eating at 12, and there was pressure to order since it's not a huge place and pretty busy. I was annoyed with my friend for not waiting for us, but I get it because let's be honest, my g/f fault on that one. Server was cordial, and my g/f & I quickly ordered. Food came out quickly. We ate quickly, and my friend & his g/f watching us eat. Food was delicious, and they were quick, but to be fair, they were closing in 10 minutes, so they were motivated to get out of there. I got a pancake & egg dish as I recall. This was a top notch brunch. In spite of the negative experience of being so late because of my g/f, the experience at the restaurant was excellent. Conclusion: After brunch, we looked around downtown, Amish Farm (see my 5-star review of them written in April 2018), etc. and was overall a nice day with the 3 of them albeit very cold. After we left, I took the back road from I-83 all the way back to Germantown, MD where she lived to see something different and to save a little gas too since it's pretty direct going that way. My g/f was complaining about it taking so long getting back. I knew she was meeting up with a friend that night. But what I later realized, she wanted to stop at an ATM that morning really because she needed cash to pay that friend for cannabis that night. So, she disrespected everyone's time for this. I guess on a positive at least she wasn't cheating on me with that guy and really was just for pot. In conclusion, I thought On Orange was top notch, and they were accommodating to our time schedules.
