It's like a Dunkin from the 90's. That's all I have to say. Donuts are good, I got fruity pebbles and cream cheese with a coffee and gross egg nog haha. They need to change their American flag...

Bring home they say!?! Okay! So good!

I only had what was given to me by this establishment. I didn't order myself n other words. When we were visiting friends in PA they picked us up some donuts and a sausage egg & cheese croissant a couple of times from here. They were there early enough in the am and what I had tasted good and fresh. I didn't have their coffee so I cannot rate that. I did read the other reviews and do agree with if you are sick...Close up shop. If it's dirty clean up a bit more. And I definitely agree with customers thinking that you should keep your personal political beliefs for you your own flag pole at home. For if I saw those things I'd probably rate this place a 3 or 3.5. Everyone has a right to their own their opinion though but sometimes it is best to not mix business with those things. So I'm kinda like Switzerland here and want to stay neutral to my own experience. I enjoyed what I did have from here and actually have wanted an other take out Maple donut since then. (It went nicely with my DD's French vanilla k~cup coffee brewed at my friends home")

Maple Donuts is, and always has been, a great York County institution. This location, like all the others, is fast, friendly, and has the best donuts on the face of this beautiful earth. Seriously, if you're near York, get Maple Donuts.

Great donuts and great value- $3something for a breakfast sandwich and $1something for a coffee! The donuts were very solid diner-style. The cake donuts are especially good. would come back to try other varieties!

I was attempting to get back on 83 South and stumbled across this 24 hour shop. I figured why not stop.....LOL To top it off it had a drive thru. Oh so lazy me. I decided to just get a dozen of mixed donut holes because being diabetic I should not have stopped at all. However, service was prompt and polite. Let me just tell you that I am so glad that I do not live close to this place. Those donut holes would go great with a morning cup of coffee.

Stopping on our way home, needed coffee, tea and donuts. Rather than go to a chain we chose Maple. It was late afternoon, and while they don't make the donuts onsite, they do frost/decorate them at this location. We bought 6 for the road and while they were not super fresh, we were very happy with our choices. Larger donuts than the chains and much bigger selection of flavors. Hubby said his jelly donut tasted like pie filling (not sure what kind of pie) and the pumpkin donut I chose had the bonus of cream cheese frosting, yum. My coffee was hot, fresh and delicious. Hubby's tea was good too. Would definitely stop back when in the area.

So many different types of donuts or plain if you prefer. They taste better than surrounding donut shops. Friendly service.

Stopped by on way home from a trip. Lots of selections, donuts were fresh and tasty! Good price. Wish there was one closer to where we live!

Too sweet. Way too sugary even for a donut. Maple cream and powdered lemon were pretty good.

Donuts are as tasty as the tree. Go to Dunkin. Or better yet buy a package from the Speedway.

The store is clean and the management continues to develop relationships with local businesses & repeat customers. There's Urban Churn pints for sale in the feeezer case and local milk in the refrigerator case. It's easy to earn perks checking in with Clover - I have not received any spam, but I have earned a bonus drink and my next dozen is on Dough N Joe. The "pistachidough" donut is delicious and the decoration is artful. What can I say, early bird gets the worm, and I never get the worm. So I pulled up Yelp looking for a comparable egg sandwich and found Dough N Joe. I'd been meaning to try their donuts anyway, but saw they had breakfast sandwiches, so I had to bust out and go. Funny enough, I pass one near work all the time and thought that's where I was headed, but GPS took me to Mechanicsburg. C'est la vie. I like a nice little Sunday drive, so here we are. Got there close to closing, pretty quiet, nobody really in there, donut selection a little picked through. but I grabbed an egg sandwich on bagel with cream cheese, a custard donut, and a cherry cake donut, then bounced. Sat in the car and started eating the sandwich while driving, which is a type of love language. Really good sandwich. Now, it wasn't quite the loaded, gooey, dripping egg sandwich my 1 p.m. soul was seeking, pepperoncinis, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, the whole artistic gooey goodness. It wasn't that. But it was really good. I definitely wouldn't call it standard fare. The ingredients were quality, the chew of the bagel was excellent, and I can still remember biting into that thing. It just wasn't the exact sandwich fantasy I woke up chasing. But the real tour de force. the reason you go to Dough & Joe is the donuts honey. That cherry cake donut? Big, Big, Big Fluffy. Airy. Cakey. Cherry. So good. Seriously, everything about it was so good. And look, I'm on a little health kick right now, so homeboy can't be eating giant cherry cake donuts all the time. I had to stick my neck out a little. when in Rome. Had a guilty conscience about it. Worth it. #cheatmeal Completely worth it. Highly advise you go. Highly advise you get the donuts. I also got a custard one that the fat boy in me wants to demolish, but I may hand it to my roommate because honey... it is not on the meal plan. You understand. Only thing I can knock is I wish I'd gone during peak morning energy. I showed up in my weird late-boy window, and I feel like I missed the full ambiance--the cases packed, espresso machine hissing, people piling in, the Mechanicsburg morning hustle. I bet that version of this place is its own kind of magic. So I'm giving Dough & Joe 4 out of 5 stars. Docking one star only because I didn't get to experience the full New-York-hustle-bustle-in-a-Mechanicsburg-morning fantasy.
