Simply the best donuts I have ever had in my life. The staff is warm and welcoming. The space is clean. Recommend you get there early as the lemon and salted caramel sold out on a recent visit. Amazing breakfast for the office. read more

If I could give this place a 100 stars, I would!! Stop what you're doing and go to Beiler's right now. I just had the best donuts of my life. They taste like absolute perfection. I tried the glazed donut and the Biscoff donut. The glazed donut was unbelievably soft and fresh-everything you want in a classic donut. It practically melted in my mouth. It somehow managed to be light and airy while still having that perfect chewy bite. If you think a plain glazed donut can't be memorable, this one will change your mind!!!! I will never forget this first bite. The Biscoff cookie donut was just as incredible. It was generously filled with a fluffy, marshmallow-like cream that wasn't overly sweet, so the rich Biscoff flavor really shined. Every bite tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. It's also a seasonal flavor so it may not be there every time you go! My friend ordered the lemon donut. It was a little too tart for my personal taste, but she absolutely loved it and finished every bite. They also have an incredible variety of flavors, so there's truly something for everyone. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they also sell coffee and other drinks, making it an easy stop for breakfast or a sweet treat. The space was pretty big. It was nothing fancy. Just a basic shop but the donuts are good that you won't be focused on anything else. If you're anywhere near Lancaster, do yourself a favor and go. NOW. I'll definitely be back and I'll be thinking about these donuts until then! I also asked and they didn't have any gluten free options. read more

I love these donuts! So light and soft and fresh and full of sugar - perfect for my sweet tooth! I've tried almost all of the varieties and never had one I didn't like. I love the filled varieties the most for that extra bit of sweetness. The shop is bright and clean and always well stocked. You can also often catch a glimpse of the donuts being made when you stop in. The women who work there are friendly and always very patient if you take a while to decide what flavors you're getting on that visit. There's seating both inside and outside, and plenty of parking in the lot in front of the store. read more

5/5 - would go back! These donuts are very good. Light and fluffy with real toppings you can watch them add, and the puff they have is almost more bread-like than a normal heavy donut. Overall a great donut! IG - lanco.food.dude read more

The Reading Terminal location is always WAY too busy for me so I came to this location instead. My husband and I were the only ones in there which was nice compared to the other location. We got 2 maple bacon donuts, mocha donut, peanut butter creme donut, peppermint stick donut and just a chocolate iced donut. We brought them back to the hotel to have them each morning for breakfast. They were all super fresh and delicious. The service was quick. I would definitely be back to this location and would recommend. read more

Hands down the best donuts I have ever had. Not much more I can say other than ... one bite and you close your eyes and reflect on God's glory. I thought the maple/bacon was the best donut I had ever had ... then I tried the lemon ... then the salted caramel. Total bliss. Service is friendly and prompt and the space is spotless and inviting. If I lived here I would look like a donut! read more

Beiler's donuts is home to a nice selection of tasty, doughy treats, all of which were fresh and fun. We got a dozen donuts early in the morning when the case was still full, so we had our pick of cream donuts, m&m and chocolate, and peanut butter and jelly, to name a few. My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly, with its peanut butter frosting and a just-right amount of filling. I think it was well-balanced, unlike some of the others which were a bit too sweet without the necessary grease offset. Even though they're homemade, these donuts won't feel like the old fashioned type you'd dip in your coffee. I think these are more the sweet breakfast treat you get when you are brave enough to go into the office on a Monday, or you need your kids to just be quiet for five minutes. Last thing I'll mention is that this isn't a great spot to dine-in, as the biggest table they have is only four seats, and there are only a handful of them. It also has a strip mall vibe - not a ton of charm that makes you feel like staying. Better to take your treats on the go! read more

Overall good but not great donuts. Tried the fritter--very sweet with no discernible blueberry flavor, Boston Cream was excellent as was the glazed. Apple cider donut left a weird taste in my mouth. Service was average. Entrance door glass and the display cases needed to be cleaned. read more

Well - these rank at the very top of my donut list! I went for the first time, and about 12 hours later went back again because I kept thinking about all the flavors I hadn't tried. There is seriously something for everyone, even the pups - I purchased a doggie donut for my sister's dog and even though he had been sick, he loved it. I stick by my thought that donuts do heal all wounds (human and canine!) So, which ones were my favorite? After trying roughly 12 different flavors I will say, I love the salted caramel and the caramel apple equally. The standard vanilla frosting with sprinkles is an easy winner for me. The apple fritter - Yes!! Traditional glazed, yeah, I liked that one too! I'm not a chocolate fan, but the rest of the family is and wow, did they love the chocolate glazed one as well. PB&J, winner. Key Lime, winner. Ok, so if you're actually still reading - the deal is that Beilers is a winner on all fronts. If I lived closer I would have to figure out how to reign myself in... but since I don't - I'll go big each and every time I'm in Lacaster! read more

Donut Mention It It's a shame on me for never writing a review for Beiler's Donuts. These donuts are in no uncertain terms life-changing. Being 100% honest, I do not like donuts. I find the flavor to be too blah; the texture is usually not that great, and they're almost always tooth achingly sweet. However, I do have two exceptions to my "all donuts suck" rule, and that is Stan's in Santa Clara, CA, and Beiler's Donuts. Beiler's is an Amish-run business that began in Philly's Reading Terminal Market and has now opened up three other locations, with this Lancaster one being the one we always visit when we're in the area. While the donuts are fantastic, for my money, all I want are their fresh, soft, and fluffy fritters. Apple or blueberry, it really doesn't matter. Just do yourself a favor and get at least one of each. You'll thank me later. read more

The Beiler's Donuts apple fritter is fire! My car is parked in the garage by my hotel and I can smell the freshly made doughnuts calling me. I'm with my wife and she wants to bring a half dozen home. Walking in I see not only apple but blueberry fritters?! There is nothing better than enjoying a freshly made doughnut, mmm mm! I start to get a little wide eyed as I'm choosing some great flavors like S'Mores and Nutella. I see in the open kitchen, they are filling a doughnut cake. The filling looks like oreo spread. If I worked here I'd weigh 500 pounds, haha! Everyone flipped for these doughnuts after I brought them home. If you're looking for a great homemade doughnut, Beiler's Donuts is a great treat. read more

OK wow - if you need donuts around Lancaster, PA you better pop over here cause these will blow you away. We arrived on a Saturday morning around 8AM and it wasn't busy at all. I was the only one inside and got to take my time picking out the tasiest donuts. I had Beiler's bookmarked for my trip to Lancaster, PA but when my Yelp friend Jason verified these are some of the BEST donuts he's ever had, I was sold. We for sure travel for donuts...good donuts. They had an amazing variety of different flavors I don't typically see at donut shops. PB&J (always a favorite combo I'll order whenever I see it), Chocolate PB, Key Lime Pie, Caramel Apple, Chocolate M&M, Maple Bacon and of course classics like fritters, glazed, chocolate frosted, etc. These donuts were smaller than other shops but the perfect size for us. Means you can try more before getting full! We ordered a dozen and it came to about $15. Not a bad price for "fancy" donuts. They all are filled right in front of you, so you know you're getting the freshest donut possible. And all the filling were right there in front of you - so cool. The donuts were all super fluffy and stayed pretty fresh the next day too. Always a good sign that it's a superior donut. read more

Arrived midday and the case was looking messy and somewhat depleted, but I wasn't discouraged just yet. There were several types of donut to choose among, all having various icings. I ask the person behind the donut case what the filling was on the iced chocolate donut - white filling. Hmm, okay - how about this one, pointing to a different colored iced donut - white filling. I asked this question on four other flavored donuts and received the same response - white filling. Since I'm not particularly fond of the white frosting fillings, I opted for a mocha ice donut, one of the only donuts not filled with white filling. The donut was pillowy soft, icing faintly tasting of mocha and within, a bulge of frosting- basically the white stuff (again), made brown with perhaps coffee and only a hint of mocha. Very disappointing. read more

The absolute best. Nothing else to say except I need 85 characters...blueberry fritter. Nuff said

Great variety of donuts. I'm a huge donut guy so we had to get here when we were in Lancaster for the day. I always go for filled donuts. They were pretty rich and tasty with good filling. Beiler's is the best donuts around, like them better than all the other locally made and chain places, even tried another places cronuts but Beiler's beats them all. Good selection and often very fresh but generally just shy of delicious. I wouldn't go as far as to call them underwhelming, they're just "good". So if you're in a bind and you need a "good" donut, Beiler's will deliver. If you want something that's going to rock your world, I'd keep searching. That's the definition of a 4 star place for me. Definitely good and definitely consistent, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Also, if you go, prioritize the donuts over the apple or blueberry fritters which are a bit dry. Service is always friendly and the line moves fast. read more

I came here today while I was passing through and heard about the donuts. I had the strawberry jelly powdered donut. It was really good. This establishment definitely has good donuts. Not my favorite donut shop ever (that distinction belongs to Reschs Donuts in Columbus OH), however my quest for the best donut shop in Central PA may very well be over. The glazed donut is divine, and the vanilla icing donut is pretty darn good too. The chocolate glazed wasn't the greatest, but when you have dozens to choose from every donut cannot be a winner. For example, my curiosity didn't get the best of me this time, but I have to wonder about that fruity pebbles donut. Hmmmm. One average donut cannot keep them from a five star rating. And lest I forget, they even have doggie donuts! My dog approves...well done! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for months. We tried the following: Dream cream - it is a filled donut dipped in chocolate and drizzled with white icing cream filled. Just ok Key lime pie - it is filled with a homemade crème made with fresh lime juice, drizzled with white icing - Liked it Lemon - Filled with a homemade crème made with fresh lemon juice, drizzled with white icing - didn't like the filling. Also bought coconut and glazed donut to enjoy later. I liked the glazed. Coconut filled was disappointing. Filling is pudding based. Thank you for my FREE birthday treat read more

Great donuts although they could probably reduce the sugar by at least half and still have the same great taste.

Donuts are my weakness and Beiler's certainly has a unique twist on them. I've never had a donut so light and fluffy. The flavor choices are hard to choose from but each one is different and has its own special flavor. I love the original glaze. The service is good with usually one or two working the front. The atmosphere is very relaxed and calm. Everyone seems like family that goes there. Great place for donuts and coffee! read more

Until just yesterday, I had never heard of Beiler's Donuts. After today, I am a huge fan. One word for you--fritters. O.M.G. Beiler's started out at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia 30 years ago and then opened up two more locations--another in Philly and now in Lancaster. However, they recently opened up yet another store in Philly and I was told by the manager that they will be opening one in Maryland. Beiler's pride themselves in serving fresh, hand-rolled Amish donuts made daily. They use a recipe that has been in their family for generations. I asked what their most popular donut was and the young lady working at the counter said their fritters for sure. They offer both Apple and Blueberry. When I got there, they were out but lucky for me, a fresh batch was ready in about 10 minutes. And let me tell you, my friends... it was worth the wait! read more

Never disappointed with a donut from here. Great atmosphere too. Music they play is perfect to start the morning with. I have tried a lot of their flavors but my favorite so far is the cookies and cream. The cake donuts are not bad but I think their known best for the others. They also have great discounts on local flavor and clipper magazine. Bonus- sign up for their mailing list and get a free donut! read more

Maybe stating the obvious here but worth noting! This place is popular, so if you go in the afternoon you will have a lot less selection (which is fine and normal for a bakery but good to keep in mind). I got a half dozen of all different flavors, and they were all excellent. My favorite by far was the salted caramel. If I go again I want to try even more flavors but I think I'd have to get the salted caramel again because it was that good! -1 star because their iced tea is literally bottled Turkey Hill. It tasted like sugar and lemon with a hint of tea, maybe. So disappointing that they probably shouldn't even sell iced tea. As I was leaving, I saw another customer hit up the coffee shop next door for drinks before getting doughnuts here, and that's probably the right choice if you want a good drink. read more

What can you say about a donut shop with 30+ varieties of donuts? Lots of good choices....my banana cream and powdered creme filled were outstanding, as weee the key lime, chocolate iced and vanilla iced, apple fritters, glazed, and coconut-chocolate glazed. A dozen cost $11.50. Coffee was dark and good! Other locations are in Reading Terminal and University City in Philly and Germantown MD. Glad there is one tucked away in Lancaster as well!
