Neighborhood coffee bar turned foodie hangout. This bacon, egg and cheese beignet sandwich is one seriously good breakfast sandwich. The beignet brings a subtle sweetness and that delicious fried, pastry-like richness, while the bacon, egg and cheese bring the savory side. But the real surprise is the sauce: mayo, mustard and Sriracha. That combination sneaks in layer after layer of flavor--creamy, tangy and just enough heat to pull everything together without overpowering it. Sweet, salty, savory, spicy... somehow it all works. And that beignet makes this a breakfast sandwich I'd happily order again. read more

My friend and I stopped in on her recommendation for this spot. Beignets came in a three pack, so we ordered this, but suspect the cashier knew we were splitting, as we ended up with a fourth in the bag for free! Such a nice gesture! The beignets were very tasty, and absolutely fresh-- they came out piping hot. The interior is very small, but we were able to find a spot by the counter to sit for a few minutes as we enjoyed our snack. I would definitely recommend planning to take your beignets elsewhere, as a few tables fill up quickly here! read more

We were super stoked to try this place. But totally disappointed. The dough was "pasty" and dense, not at all fluffy like good beignets I mean even Disney springs port of Orleans has better beignets and that's a tourist trap! :/ read more

The beignets definitely weren't as good as those I've had in New Orleans. They were much heavier and greasier. They actually gave us both a headache. The place is very small. The line was out the door on a Sunday morning. There was no place to sit so we took it to go. The place was filled with very loud kids. Are they worth trying? Yes. Is it amazing? No. Disney's are better than this. read more

This place is so cute and such unique items that incorporate beignets. I did my order online for pick up and it was ready by the time I walked over. I got the breakfast sandwich but added hot honey, it was really good and not a combination I would've thought of but works. If you like a breakfast sandwich with a donut or pancake as the bread, you'll like this! read more

Great stuff, don't inhale the white powder. Great coffee. Really. And a Macadamia Mocha Latte was "tah die fo" .. but seriously, great all around loved it, genius idea, well executed. Very busy at times, wall-to-wall elbows. Everyone who worked there was super nice. Allows limited seating. Hipster atmosphere. There was a wedding party there the first time we went yet managed to grab a table briefly and try the beignets. Who doesn't like a fresh powdery Creole donut??? Came back for more the next day (coffee was so good) and it was worth the wait for a to-go cup. Don't buy any coffee in the bags though; the displayed bags of coffee are more than a year old, and none were newer than 60 days old! Always check your roasting dates. Shame on their supplier. read more

Absolutely loved everything about this culinary gem of a find. If in the area, it's a MUST! Open daily 8:00-2:00 with the exception of Mondays when they are closed. As we approached with only 30 minutes till closing, we were warmly welcomed by the wafting scent of freshly made beignets and brewing coffee!! Once inside this quaint cafe we were greeted by the wonderful staff who explained how our beignets and coffee are made fresh upon ordering. Having never tried their beignets we decided on ordering one order three of each type available. Not surprising, the special of the day was sold out because of how late it was in the day. We were a party of four but we planned on splitting our orders of three accordingly. Without missing a beat, the attentive staff divided our beignet dough into fours instead of threes. We were so appreciative and happy. Not only was the staff amazing, our fellow guests in the cafe were so friendly. The vibe here is one of a local cafe where everyone knows each other and welcomes new friends. While the delicious beignets are clearly the stars, everything else from staff to ambiance to fellow foodies makes this little cafe shine even brighter!! read more

Obsessed with their chicken salad beignets. They have the cutesiest kids meal, my niece loved their eggs! The best and beignets in town!

This is a small place serving up big flavors! From the coffees, to the breakfast sandwiches, and last but definitely not least, the beignets...you will not be disappointed! I do suggest ordering ahead or placing your order to go, as it is a tiny location and seating is VERY limited! read more

Quaint location in downtown Lancaster. Cozy seating with plenty of charm. We ordered both the powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar beignets as well as a latte and a cafe aulait. The latte was quite good but my wife found the cafe au lait a bit too much on the dark roast side. The beignets were light and airy, as they should be. Unfortunately they were a bit overdone as the outside was quite crunchy. Perhaps we were spoiled by Cafe Dumond. It may have been the day or just the batch. At any rate, we liked it well enough to try again the next time we are in Lancaster. read more

We love coming here every time we are in Lancaster. I look forward to it. There's limited street parking and the inside is very small, I've never been able to sit down, there's only a couple of seats and they are always busy. I hope they can expand it one day. The beignets are very good! I highly recommend this place! read more

Had beignets and a matcha here and wowza! Everything was fantastic! The beignets were delicious and a bit of a donut texture. They are messy and you can get sticky fingers so beware--but to be expected with beignets. The matcha was delicious and I added lavender syrup. It was quite busy when we arrived around 10am but service was pretty quick. Highly recommend you visit this place! read more

Yummy beignets here in Lancaster! I'm just trying to sign off on them but getting told that I need to put more characters into my review.

Beignets outside Louisiana? Yep that's right. Pretty good beignet shop that's located very close to the Amish market. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Seating is limited so be ready to eat your treat on the go or get there early read more

Delicious beignets. They look big but they're surprisingly easy to down. Best to wear light colors when you eat the beignets- it's hard to avoid the powdered sugar getting on your clothes (: Coffee was yummy too. Super nice staff. They got outdoor seating for when the weather's nice. read more

I cannot praise the team at Lancaster Beignet enough! We ordered a breakfast catering from them (sandwiches and beignets) and they were so flexible in working with our early schedule. Everything was incredibly fresh and warm. I have never had a donut breakfast sandwich because they gross me out, but I would choose another beignet sandwich anytime!! The beignet was incredibly light and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet, and the thick cut bacon was to die for. The cafe is very cute and cozy. And the staff was so kind! Thank you for an amazing breakfast. The rest of my staff at the restaurant store was sad we didn't have leftovers. read more

Love this place! I wish it wasn't 30 minutes from my house. I am thrilled to have an option to salivate over beignets in Lancaster. The beignet bites were wonderful and I also enjoyed my sandwich. Next time I will omit the mustard because I am not a huge fan of mustard. My friends and I all enjoyed our meals and because it was a weekday around 9am we were able to find on street parking which was great. The cafe isn't huge, but we were able to find a table for the three of us. Cute interior and when the weather warms up - the cute outdoor area will be a nice option even though it doesn't seat a lot. read more

This is a pretty tasty little spot! It's definitely worth checking out. They have a fuller menu and all the diners food looked great so I definitely need to go back. Adorable beignet coffee shop! Coffee is good. Beignets are delicious. They taste fluffy and fresh. The only inauthentic part of them is they come in different shapes and aren't very uniform which makes sharing hard. They also have a beignet breakfast sandwich which we didn't have but looked delicious. They also have juices and a couple non coffee options. The decor in minimalist with some French quarter touches. It has a cute little counter and a small patio for when the weather is nice. Definitely recommend stopping by! Beignets are way better than donuts! read more

10 out of 10 establishment! The service here was outstanding and the staff were absolutely delightful. The food was also amazing! So glad I stopped by here for beignets! My husband and I ordered 3 for $5. They are big enough to share after a meal. My sister, niece, and I tried Lancaster Beignet for the first time a few weeks ago, and it did not disappoint! As a good beignet can be hard to find outside the South, I wasn't too surprised to learn that one of the owners came from Mississippi. I loved the Café du Monde tins sprinkled decoratively around the shop! Having been to the original Café du Monde in New Orleans myself, it did not disappoint! The cafe is super cute and I'd recommend going in-person to sit and chat with friends or family for breakfast! We tried the regular beignets, of course, but we were pleasantly surprised by the beignet breakfast sandwich! The staff were really kind, quick and efficient, and make you feel very welcomed into the space! This is amongst my new favorite Lancaster spots for breakfast and specialty coffee! read more

I don't know that there's any way of authentically replicating the experience of plopping oneself down at a sticky, powdered sugar dusted table right beside the Mississippi at 2 in the morning to attempt to daintily inhale hot beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde. I mean, really? How could there be? But-- I contend a very VERY close second (the best I've had when not in New Orleans) is sidling on into Lancaster Beignet just before closing. The beignets were hot, pillowy, fresh fried confections of love and comfort, topped with a generous mound of powdered sugar, and the cafe au lait was feelin' right. And I wore all black, so there was no hiding the evidence. It was clear where I'd been and what I'd done. Fantastic. You have to go. And wear all black. Then walk around and boast without saying a word. read more

This was our first stop. We are very happy we found Lancaster Beignet. We wanted a small snack and some coffee to start the day. It was a rainy day, so the line was not bad at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw them clean off tables after each customer left. Which is great considering how much powdered sugar gets lost from eating the beignets (wear light clothes). We ordered 6 beignets and found a cozy table easily. They are fairly large and COVERED in powdered sugar. They come out fire hot! The outside is crispy, and the inside is fluffy/doughy in the best way. They were not too filling, which was great, we had a long day of eating coming up. This is a great addition to the city. We cant wait to visit again! read more

A wonderful, quaint spot to grab breakfast and coffee! As mentioned it's a small space with a handful of tables and 2ish seats behind the coffee (like a raised bar). I wouldn't plan on having a big group eat here though (call ahead and get takeout!). Menu is simple and straightforward. Usually service is quite fast and everything has always been fresh and hot. Such a lovely addition to our downtown! P.S. Please have another po' boy night. I miss Mississippi Gumbo! read more

I wish I had a picture to share, but my wife and I downed our beignets too quickly. The regular beignets are great. I popped over to grab some coffee and beignets for our friend group staying a night in Lancaster. We picked up the regular and bite-sized but didn't notice much of a difference between them! Regardless of size - they were truly delicious and it went incredibly well with our coffee. I got there right when it opened and the place was packed by the time my order was ready, so if you come, go right when they open to ensure you don't have a long wait - this place looks like a hoppin' spot! read more

Heard about this place from some people raving about it on Facebook and decided to come try it out. It's a small little spot right across from Robburritos and next to Double C. If you park at the Prince Street parking garage you'll only have to walk about 5 minutes down the street. We came around 11am on a Saturday and there was a minor wait. The woman at the cash register is also in charge of the drink orders. She's so polite and calm for having so much to do! She's a one woman show at the front and then there's a woman and man in the back doing the food orders. They also are very kind and bring your food to you (calling out your name). There's about 4 indoor tables, 1 bar/high top area with two chairs and then 2 outdoor tables on a small porch that are in front of French style doors to enter inside. Around 11:30-onward it got pretty busy with a line out the door. It took about 15-20ish minutes for us to get our food (6 beignets and bacon, egg and cheese sandwich) because it was busy. The place is fairly new and is clean. Not loud and fast ordering. The lady said they are working on providing military discounts, just not yet. Overall, loved the food. The beignets were super soft and tasty. The sandwich was good it had ketchup, mustard, Mayo and you can also put Siracha on it if you want. Overall, will be coming back here in the future and I do suggest trying this place out! read more

Decor/service: small place with only about 5 indoor tables. Service was friendly enough. 4/5 Food: the sandwich's and beignets were delicious! Some of the best we have had.
