Great stuff, don't inhale the white powder. Great coffee. Really. And a Macadamia Mocha Latte was "tah die fo" .. but seriously, great all around loved it, genius idea, well executed. Very busy at times, wall-to-wall elbows. Everyone who worked there was super nice. Allows limited seating. Hipster atmosphere. There was a wedding party there the first time we went yet managed to grab a table briefly and try the beignets. Who doesn't like a fresh powdery Creole donut??? Came back for more the next day (coffee was so good) and it was worth the wait for a to-go cup. Don't buy any coffee in the bags though; the displayed bags of coffee are more than a year old, and none were newer than 60 days old! Always check your roasting dates. Absolutely loved everything about this culinary gem of a find. If in the area, it's a MUST! Open daily 8:00-2:00 with the exception of Mondays when they are closed. As we approached with only 30 minutes till closing, we were warmly welcomed by the wafting scent of freshly made beignets and brewing coffee!! Once inside this quaint cafe we were greeted by the wonderful staff who explained how our beignets and coffee are made fresh upon ordering. Having never tried their beignets we decided on ordering one order three of each type available. Not surprising, the special of the day was sold out because of how late it was in the day. We were a party of four but we planned on splitting our orders of three accordingly. Without missing a beat, the attentive staff divided our beignet dough into fours instead of threes. We were so appreciative and happy. Not only was the staff amazing, our fellow guests in the cafe were so friendly. The vibe here is one of a local cafe where everyone knows each other and welcomes new friends. While the delicious beignets are clearly the stars, everything else from staff to ambiance to fellow foodies makes this little cafe shine even brighter!! read more

We love coming here every time we are in Lancaster. I look forward to it. There's limited street parking and the inside is very small, I've never been able to sit down, there's only a couple of seats and they are always busy. I hope they can expand it one day. Quaint location in downtown Lancaster. Cozy seating with plenty of charm. We ordered both the powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar beignets as well as a latte and a cafe aulait. The latte was quite good but my wife found the cafe au lait a bit too much on the dark roast side. The beignets were light and airy, as they should be. Unfortunately they were a bit overdone as the outside was quite crunchy. Perhaps we were spoiled by Cafe Dumond. It may have been the day or just the batch. At any rate, we liked it well enough to try again the next time we are in Lancaster. read more

Had beignets and a matcha here and wowza! Everything was fantastic! The beignets were delicious and a bit of a donut texture. They are messy and you can get sticky fingers so beware--but to be expected with beignets. The matcha was delicious and I added lavender syrup. I cannot praise the team at Lancaster Beignet enough! We ordered a breakfast catering from them (sandwiches and beignets) and they were so flexible in working with our early schedule. Everything was incredibly fresh and warm. I have never had a donut breakfast sandwich because they gross me out, but I would choose another beignet sandwich anytime!! The beignet was incredibly light and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet, and the thick cut bacon was to die for. The cafe is very cute and cozy. And the staff was so kind! Love this place! I wish it wasn't 30 minutes from my house. I am thrilled to have an option to salivate over beignets in Lancaster. The beignet bites were wonderful and I also enjoyed my sandwich. Next time I will omit the mustard because I am not a huge fan of mustard. My friends and I all enjoyed our meals and because it was a weekday around 9am we were able to find on street parking which was great. The cafe isn't huge, but we were able to find a table for the three of us. Cute interior and when the weather warms up - the cute outdoor area will be a nice option even though it doesn't seat a lot. read more

Adorable beignet coffee shop! Coffee is good. Beignets are delicious. They taste fluffy and fresh. The only inauthentic part of them is they come in different shapes and aren't very uniform which makes sharing hard. They also have a beignet breakfast sandwich which we didn't have but looked delicious. They also have juices and a couple non coffee options. The decor in minimalist with some French quarter touches. So glad I stopped by here for beignets! My husband and I ordered 3 for $5. They are big enough to share after a meal. The beignets are fluffy, light and dusted with a generous amount of powdered sugar. As a good beignet can be hard to find outside the South, I wasn't too surprised to learn that one of the owners came from Mississippi. I loved the Café du Monde tins sprinkled decoratively around the shop! Having been to the original Café du Monde in New Orleans myself, it did not disappoint! The cafe is super cute and I'd recommend going in-person to sit and chat with friends or family for breakfast! We tried the regular beignets, of course, but we were pleasantly surprised by the beignet breakfast sandwich! I don't know that there's any way of authentically replicating the experience of plopping oneself down at a sticky, powdered sugar dusted table right beside the Mississippi at 2 in the morning to attempt to daintily inhale hot beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde. I mean, really? How could there be? But-- I contend a very VERY close second (the best I've had when not in New Orleans) is sidling on into Lancaster Beignet just before closing. This was our first stop. We are very happy we found Lancaster Beignet. We wanted a small snack and some coffee to start the day. It was a rainy day, so the line was not bad at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw them clean off tables after each customer left. Which is great considering how much powdered sugar gets lost from eating the beignets (wear light clothes). We ordered 6 beignets and found a cozy table easily. They are fairly large and COVERED in powdered sugar. They come out fire hot! The outside is crispy, and the inside is fluffy/doughy in the best way. They were not too filling, which was great, we had a long day of eating coming up. This is a great addition to the city. We cant wait to visit again! read more

A wonderful, quaint spot to grab breakfast and coffee! As mentioned it's a small space with a handful of tables and 2ish seats behind the coffee (like a raised bar). I wouldn't plan on having a big group eat here though (call ahead and get takeout!). Menu is simple and straightforward. Usually service is quite fast and everything has always been fresh and hot. Heard about this place from some people raving about it on Facebook and decided to come try it out. It's a small little spot right across from Robburritos and next to Double C. If you park at the Prince Street parking garage you'll only have to walk about 5 minutes down the street. We came around 11am on a Saturday and there was a minor wait. The woman at the cash register is also in charge of the drink orders. She's so polite and calm for having so much to do! She's a one woman show at the front and then there's a woman and man in the back doing the food orders. They also are very kind and bring your food to you (calling out your name). There's about 4 indoor tables, 1 bar/high top area with two chairs and then 2 outdoor tables on a small porch that are in front of French style doors to enter inside. Around 11:30-onward it got pretty busy with a line out the door. It took about 15-20ish minutes for us to get our food (6 beignets and bacon, egg and cheese sandwich) because it was busy. The place is fairly new and is clean. Not loud and fast ordering. The lady said they are working on providing military discounts, just not yet. Overall, loved the food. The beignets were super soft and tasty. The sandwich was good it had ketchup, mustard, Mayo and you can also put Siracha on it if you want. Overall, will be coming back here in the future and I do suggest trying this place out! read more

Amazing Ng little coffee shop in downtown Lancaster. Great coffee and beignet's on par with some of the best I've had. A little more full and cake like that Cafe Du Mond but just as good taste wise. Awesome atmosphere, although it's a smaller venue. They have a small outdoor patio, but it's not always open.
