Google maps directed us here as we passed through looking for a Dunkin. Had I known their politics I wouldn't have patronized the place, but I would've missed out on good cake style doughnuts & bagel sandwich. Better than Dunkin, but not the best I've had. I think I saw the cook actually crack eggs to make the egg sandwich & not use a microwaved substitute - yay! This location was quite busy on a Friday morning. I noticed the lady getting doughnuts for customers kept pulling doughnuts from the farthest back area of the doughnut rack. When my family & I ordered she grabbed ours from the area closest to the front. I meant to ask her about it but completely forgot to after we ordered. The tables weren't the cleanest (doughnut crumbs), but nothing a quick wipe down with a napkin couldn't solve. Bathroom was decently clean. Customers waiting in line were nicer to my family & me than the people serving us. Based on the doughnuts & bagel sandwich I'd definitely go to Maple Donuts over Dunkin or Tim Hortons, BUT, their politics will keep me away forever. Too bad because I enjoyed the food. But, Maple Donuts will continue to do well without my business & I'm sure they don't care that my first time will be my last time there. I'm not local anyway nor am I part of their target audience except for the fact that I LOVE doughnuts! My rating has nothing to do with their politics & is strictly based on my experience & the food. read more

Wow I saw a sign on the highway and I had to stop here with my family. I worked in a bakery for 5 yrs so I'm picky. This place blows Krispy Kreme and Dunkin doughnuts out of the water. So many fantastic choices. I sampled the maple bacon and chocolate peppermint. There were so many options it was tough to pick. They have a wide selection of drinks as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches but the real draw are the doughnuts. This place is open 24/7 how nice is that?. Cheaper and superior to Dunkin. Treat yourself to a piece of heaven. They have a wide variety of flavors sure to please everyone. Each donut is hefty and they don't skimp on icing. read more

SO GOOD. Being from NY, I just randomly saw one of their locations and decided to pop in. I was in MD for work, and just needed some coffee before really getting too far into my drive. Stopped at Maple Donuts and HAD to grab a dozen. Got a jelly, boston creme, glazed, blueberry, peanut butter frosted, maple frosted, a couple of the fruity pebbles, chocolate donut with peanut butter frosting, and a couple others that I can't remember. All I do know is that my family, and boyfriend, made sure I saved the address and plan on going back any time I travel for work. YUM!! My coffee was great, the staff was friendly, and the donuts were by far some of the best donuts I've ever had. I'm so happy I stopped in Sunday morning and gave them a try. SO many varieties and flavors to choose from. Every kind I chose was a hit at my house. I will definitely be back! read more

These are the best donuts in central Pa. Area. Quality ingredients and a great selection. We want one in Camp Hill!

Got a dozen donuts and they were amazing! The only king I didn't care for were the chocolate on chocolate donut only because the frosting takes like licorice! Other than that their donuts are the best read more

Delicious! A bit on the sweet side but my kids didn't seem to mind. I bought two dozen for my family of eight, but I could have got away with only a dozen. The donuts are large and filling. The kids liked the PB&J and the Fruity Pebble donuts. My husband and I liked the apple fritter. (Pop it in the microwave for a few seconds then top with butter--trust me!) With 50+ flavors we will definitely be back to try them all! read more

Maple Donut - He wasn't waiting for us to get home! - Donuts Near Me - Etters, Pennsylvania

Best donuts! Such a huge variety of great tasting quality made donuts. Coffee is good too. They also make breakfast sandwiches.

Great selection of donuts here! The Cookie Monster and Fruity Pebbles donuts are among the best choices. Whether you buy them fresh or the inexpensive day-old donuts, you definitely get more than your money's worth! read more

If there is a better donut place made fresh onsite, with a huge variety and great people, i have yet to find it...and I love donuts

Maple Donuts is a long time local favorite of central PA. I stopped in to grab a coffee and a doughnut for my morning commute. 30 some doughnuts to choose from, they're coffee is awesome. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

Lets start with the important stuff... the selection, quality and freshness of the donuts here eclipse the ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts. The coffee is just okay... I tend to brew my own coffee and stop here for donuts on the way to work or on a weekend morning. The only down side is, like the other reviewers, I am a bit turned off by the level of customer service as compared to other local eateries. read more

These donuts are fantastic. The staff are super friendly and answered all of my questions. The quality of the donuts is uncompromising and my family was extremely happy with them. Some have posted negative comments because of political views. Don't be distracted by something that has no impact on the quality of donuts. If we would all spend more time breaking bread (or donuts) together perhaps we would be a stronger nation. These donuts will not disappoint you!! read more

Whenever we are going to Hersheypark or Knoebels we always stop at this Maple Donuts conveniently located off of I-83. The donuts are huge and taste amazing and they are about 50% the cost of the lesser product that Dunkin Donuts is peddling right across the street. I see a lot of "tolerant" liberals are giving one star reviews due to the owner's political views. Shame on them for using politics to soil a local business owner's reputation but that is par for the course when you consider the source. Stop in the next time you're on your way to Harrisburg. You will be glad you did read more

Terrible donuts. Dry, poorly made and left out too long. Though I'm not surprised as they only want to cater to Trump Supporters. I guess cheap and lousy are good for some- as for me I will not be returning. If I could I'd give zero stars. read more

Many very smart, very donutty people are saying Maple Donuts taste like a tuna sandwich left in the trunk of a car in the summer for 3 weeks. I am not saying that, but many many very very very smart people are. read more

If you're gonna waste fats and calories on a donut, do it right with maple donuts! They're definitely best when fresh but still make the cut when you're eating there oldest donut in the shop at the moment. Fatty, fluffy, and delicious! Sometimes the workers should be a little more friendly, but they're not rude or mean. If I lived closer I'd get super fat going here too often. :) read more

Best donuts I've found in the area thus far. They have an awesome selection and everyone I've tried has been nothing short of amazing. I didn't even care for donuts that much before this place. Staff is great... no complaints on that front. The first time I stopped by, I made the mistake of ordering a half a dozen for my family, thinking that would be plenty. The box was empty by the time we got back home. They do a baker's dozen, so even a more convincing reason to buy extra. This is the closest location to me (based out of York), and it's still a 30 minute drive, so I hope they expand to the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg/Carlisle area in the future. read more

As I sit here right now craving a donut from Maple Donuts I had to share that they make the best donuts I have ever had!!!

This place is amazing. We call it 'doughnut heaven'. One of the first places I go when I'm home from Boston. A ridiculous number of flavors (at least 50, including 4+ kinds of coconut...). A dozen doughnuts costs you only 5 dollars, and actually includes a 13th doughnut taped to the top of the box for the one who picks them up to eat on the way home. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. read more

Glad I finally tried this place. The workers were friendly and happy to make recommendations. Great price for a dozen donuts that are absolutely delicious and fresh. They even threw in an extra donut. Will definitely be going back soon. read more

I stumbled upon this hidden gem and just had to pull over and give it a try. As an avid donut lover I can confidently say that these were some of the best I have ever tasted. The choices were almost overwhelming and I will definitely need to return to try more. I really dig its unique atmosphere, but more importantly the service and food impressed me the most. Great find, will definitely be back. read more

This is a great near-interstate-side donut shop. It's open 24 hours (a HUGE plus) and has a very wide variety of flavorful donuts. The donuts are a little on the dense, dry side (buy milk, juice, or something), but good and not too sweet. The staff is a lot of fun also. Even if you don't see donuts on the shelves (which apparently occurs occasionally), stop in or roll through the drive-through -- they may be low at that particular time but always have prepackaged donuts from that day on a shelf that's just out of site of the window; sometimes in this situation the staff is willing to discount them for you. read more

I had the powdered sugar and a glazed/vanilla filled one. Both were pretty good. Their donuts are dense/thick (think pound cake) and the dough itself is not super sweet like Krispy Kreme. So they are like mini cakes in the shape of a donut. I'm impartial to donuts but if you are a fiend stop bye! read more

My all time favorite donuts! Glorious selection, always welcomed by the loveliest staff, and topped off with the most satisfying donuts ever. You don't want to miss out!! read more

Great tasting donuts at an affordable price! The donuts are also good sized ( unlike Dukin donuts) and a large variety.

Cannot pass this place by when I am heading up 83 and approaching Harrisburg. Go with the namesake Maple donuts. You can't beat them. Be sure to warm them a few seconds in the microwave. Out of this world! read more

Delicious donuts, fantastic prices, and wonderful help. A+!

If you like sweet donuts (like I do), you'll love Maple donuts. My favorite is the apple fritters, cinnamon buns, and white icing with sprinkles. They honor competitors coupons! read more

In going to review this place by comparing it with my favorite donut shop, dunkin donuts. Let me start with the coffee. Dunkin donuts blows maple donuts out the water in the coffee category.Hands down. How's that for detailed. When it comes to the donuts, maple donut has a way better selection and the donuts are tastier than DD. Just one more thing. The people at this location were very rude. I walked in and I don't here good morning not even how can I help you. So I say good morning, I tell them I want half a dozen. During the whole time I was there these people didn't say one word to me. Very awkward. read more
